Just so happens we broke down at one of the best places we could have. 10 miles down the road from these guys. Excellent service, techs, and management. Broke down at 8 threw off the belt and pouring coolant and by 11:00 we are eating lunch and headed on our way!

I was traveling through Nebraska when I had engine trouble. Jerry Remus was the 6th place I called trying to get my vehicle looked at. Everyone else said they had at least a 2 week wait. That just wouldnt work. They were the only ones willing to work me in. They got to it the same day. Excellent service. Very friendly. Highly recommend.

My husband and I were headed to Yellowstone National Park from Northeast Arkansas when our brand new 2021 Tahoe broke down on the side of the road in Nebraska. We had both been driving all through the night and were exhausted so we felt utterly defeated by this point. We just wanted to make it to our vacation. We got towed to your dealership and our bad day turned upside down. Everyone was so nice and willing to help us. We even had our labradoodle, Darby, with us and they allowed her to come in and they even offered her food and water. They got our Tahoe into the service bay and in an hour or so it was all fixed up and we were ready to go. We had the best experience considering the incident and we would highly recommend y’all to anyone we know going into North Platte, Nebraska.
Was 1000 miles from home and passenger front hub assembly went out on 2010 2500HD while towing a Crew Cab Long bed dually from Indiana.After calling all around town they said to stop by and theyd try and work me in.They had me back on the road in a couple of hours. Thanks to the service dept and the tech that knocked it out so fast!
Had my car for 14 day to fix the wrong problem they come up with not the right problem. Went on vacation just to have my car break down. Had to have it temp fix to get it back to the shop. Had to tell them what to fix and charged me for the parts no labor to think they where making it right with me just to go out and find that my exhaust is messed up. Over this shop will never return to this shop for nothing worst place ever.
Traveling from Iowa to Colorado to snowmobile, truck trouble on a saturday.Jerry was fantastic, getting us in and finding the problem. Keeping a snowmobile trailer till we got back. Drove 4 1/2 hours to come look at a car. I was told if I made the trip, they were ready to make a deal with me. They advertised 1 owner, no accidents, local trade. Car fax indicated that the majority of the servicing was done at their dealership. When I got there however, the car had clearly been in a wreck. Front end bumper didnt line up, paint runs, shield under the front end was missing, etc.... I got in the car and was told they cut the wire to the amplifier so the radio didnt work. The tube for the windshield wiper fluid was dangling when lifted the hood. It didnt work and was unconnected. Then I was told someone put a battery in wrong and the car blew a bunch of fuses. The rims from the photos did not match the rims when I showed up and it had 4 bald tires. I had no intention of buying the car but I threw out a low number just to see what they would say and they came back with.... Sticker price but we will fix the amplifier we cut power to. Thanks so much for wasting 10 hours of my life that I will never get back. The funniest part about the whole trip... They told me I could not find this vehicle within a 500 mile radius. I bought the same car 10 minutes away from my work 2 days later. This place is a joke! Oh and 1 more thing.... I think it came out in conversation that the accident free vehicle may have hit a deer.
The sales associate was super nice, took his time with me and let me ask all of my questions, he was super patient and super friendly. He gave me time to make a decision and helped me in any way that he possibly could. However, when it came to financing, we were close to their closing time and I felt like the finance guy couldnt give me the time of day. It was less than 5 minutes and they came back saying they couldnt get me financed, but it never showed up on my credit report.
This was my first car purchase. A very big decision. One car lot here in town had me so sick physically. I felt like I was not being heard. So I came across Jerry Remus through Daulton from Toyota. We were traveling from NYS to wyoming and our check engine light went on. They fit us in and fixed the problem right away and explained the problem in detail. Thankfully it was not serious but their attention gave us peace of mind. Buy a vehicle from them and know your service will be handled with great care.

While traveling to our home near St Louis from Reno, NV our Duramax showed an emissions code and reduced power. We called, as well as OnStar, every GMC dealer in the Cheyenne and Denver area. All advised it would be up to a week to get us in. It was surprising that there is not a culture of urgency to assist a GMC owner during an emergency while traveling. We limped into North Platte, NE and grabbed a hotel. The next morning, a Saturday, we went to Jerry Remus Chevrolet. That immediately looked at the truck, found the problem, had the part in stock and completed the repair. We were able to continue home. We have stopped over years in North Platte while traveling. We find the people and geography beautiful. The service staff at Jerry Remus will always be appreciated. While saddened at the GMC approach in neighboring systems, we will always have happy thoughts about this dealership. Highly recommended!

I had the best experience at Jerry Remus Chevrolet. I experienced a error code on my 2017 Chevy Colorado regarding the DEF fluid being bad and my truck was going to be put into Limp Mode by the computer. It was Saturday afternoon and I figured that everybody would be closed. I decided to stay the weekend in North Platte and take my chances on bringing my truck to the dealer first thing Monday Morning. I arrived early at 7:45 on Monday and Connie the Service Manager was already open for business. I told her the problem I had experienced on the road and that I was 1200 miles from home. She was very understanding of the situation of me being from out of town. She said that she would get their diesel mechanic on the problem ASAP. Almost 2 hours after I brought the truck in Connie came to tell me that the issue was fixed and the error message was reset and no further problem. Turned out the the DEF fluid was bad and that they had to drain and refill the DEF fluid tank. I just want to say a Big Thank you to Connie and the entire Jerry Remus staff for being so helpful. I would always recommend them if I have a chance. The ending of the story is that I made home 1200 miles to the west with no further issues. GREAT JOB Connie... Thanks Again

I had the best experience here!! I had originally got told my Tahoe was tolded and I didnt believe it so I took it to Jerry Remus body shop they have been great to us in the past, they fixed it no problem!! I am more then pleased with them!!! I highly recommend the body shop!!
So I did purchase a vehicle with you guys. Frank was wonderful, however it was probably one of the worst buying experiences I have ever had. I do enjoy the vehicle I purchased, but there was no budging on anything with prices or trade in value whatsoever. You guys gave me $1,000 for my trade in, which was certainly low and today I see it listed for almost $6,000. I owed $2700 on it so essentially I flopped - which I figured would happen just didnt think it would be that amount. Also, someone was supposed to call me Monday with a deal on some new tires for my vehicle as the back rear tires are chopped. Havent heard a single word from anyone. Also when working on my loan, we specifically asked that I be listed first and my husband as co, that did not happen and unfortunately increased our interest rates.Although we appreciate the time and effort put in on our purchase, it could have been so much better than what we received.It just so happens that we are in the market for a new truck and I know where we wont be looking as I have certainly learned my lesson and will not be returning.

My wife and I were traveling cross-country (Colorado to Wisconsin) when we noticed a noise while driving. We were planning to overnight in North Platte, and Jerry Remus Chevy was not far from our hotel. We appeared at the service department a few minutes before it opened in hopes that someone would be available to diagnose the noise.As it happened, I was greeted by the service manager before I even got in the door. I explained the issue as best I could, and the manager spoke with my wife as well. She then brought a mechanic over to also hear our descriptions -- all before the shop was open. We were directed to the customer lounge, which was quite comfortable.We had a diagnosis of the problem about 30 minutes later, with a time estimate for the fix of 90 minutes to two hours. We were out the door and back on the road with a fixed car about 10am. They answered our questions, whether directly related to the problem or not.Going in, we were afraid that we might have to stay another night in North Platte without even knowing what was wrong. Jerry Remus Chevrolets care for us (even with little likelihood of repeat business!) was amazing!
The service department is always great to work with. Very friendly and they do a great job taking care of the customer and the process is easy. Scheduling is no hassle and they take good care of my vehicles. They are always my go-to for servicing needs whether its a GMC, Chevy, or any other vehicle.

Jared who did our financing was very knowledgable, easy to communicate with, and treated us like friends from the moment we met him. They both even stayed late to accommodate our schedules. We were considering other vehicle at other dealers but made the choice to buy at Jerry Remus because how comfortable the two of them made us feel. We will definitely go back for our next purchase.

His father does business with our dealership and Brett was extremely helpful and gracious I highly recommend this dealership in regards to excellent care and customer service.
Happy with the 2015 Silverado I bought but they could’ve did better with explaining my trade in and why they offered me so low and then once I bought the truck the headlight was out on my drive home back to Douglas Wyoming when I got pulled over and told my headlight was out and I called to let them know and they just seem to like that sucks you bought it as is...it just upsets that I put trust to them with services and making sure it was all good for me...and honestly I’m not sure if this is a Wyoming thing or not but when someone buy a new vehicle it’s a custom to put a full tank of gas especially since I drove far and had to fill up my tank half way to get there and gave them pretty much a full tank in my trade it and then had to put another full tank in. I thought they were great selling it to me and being patient with me and getting my finance situation done. All in all it was worth the trip just wish some things happened differently

Spoke with Jared over the phone over the course of a week and came to a spoken agreement on a car for a certain mileage and price. When my friend went to test drive it ( we live 2 hours away now) they sent it away as a loaner ( Unprofessional in my opinion especially knowing he was coming and having made an agreement) he wouldnt talk about how they did that. Needless to say I said Id take the car for $400 less since it needed new rotors he said it doesnt for a while. They were very unprofessional and rude over the phone and lost my business and my familys future business for $400.

Jan 26th we bought a suburban from Jerry Remus Chevrolet. Originally we went to look at a different suburban we had seen online. After looking at it and realizing it didnt have some of the extras we would prefer our salesman Jeremy listened to us and showed us a suburban they didnt have ready for the sales lot. He let us test drive it and a couple of days later we went back and drove home a new to us vehicle. Jeremy and Jarid were very personable and we enjoyed doing business with them. We are pleased with how everything worked out. When we are looking for a different vehicle we will be checking these guys out first.

I bought a 2016 silverado 2500hd from them. I am from MT which is along haul. Truck looked great besides when I washed it, realized the paint was coming off the roof and was starting to corrode already at 39000 miles. They told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with this truck, and gm will not warranty the issue. They are nice folks but really wish they would look over the vehicle better when your coming that distance, or try to help me get this fixed.
$1,600.00 vehicle repair/maintainence bill a week before Christmas. 12-19-18. Took 3 full days to repair vehicle, however no one enjoys paying car maintainence/repair bills. With that said this dealership service is on point, you can only have one: cheap, fast, or good. This service shop does a good job and gets an A+ on my opinion for quality and know-how. I could hear, and feel the improvement of my vehicles condition when work was completed. I did not enjoy paying $1,600.00 but who does? I did not enjoy not having my vehicle for 3 days, but work was solid and I was comfortable driving away. I recommend this place for any concern with your automobile, and just remember good work takes a few days, so don’t get frustrated when and if they find something they recommend be changed or replaced. I will be taking my vehicle back here everytime, I live locally, and will ask for same mechanic every time to help with care comfort of my vehicle. Do not use the body shop here. They had my vehicle for twice as long as they were supposed to and then gave it back to me looking worse than I brought it in. I took it back to them and they were supposed to fix it. Well all in all they had my vehicle for a month for a door ding and the second time I got it back it looked better but still not what I would call good. The door is not aligned and the paint job really sucks there is little spots all over the door but after seeing what it looked like the first time I figured this was as good as it gets from this shop. Very very disappointed.
Just passing through on the way to Colorado. My vehicle started lurching horribly with all sorts of warning lights flickering on the dash. It was 4 in the afternoon on a Thursday. Limped to this dealership and they were more than happy to help out. Best part, they advised there was no charge since the park was deemed defective on a 2009 vehicle. Nicely done. Thanks.
We were heading west on I-80, 6 hours from home, when our suburban starting having trouble just outside of North Platte. We made it to Jerry Remus Chevy Dealer. They were extremely busy but Steve Moore from the service department saw our predicament and helped us out right away. We were back on the road in an hour. Service department was very helpful, they found me the wiring diagram I needed for my Chevy traverse brake lite wiring so I could see how to hook up my invisi brake.
Had a couple of simple jobs done here, they were fast and efficient.
Long story short, my wife and I were too trusting. We walked in to buy a used vehicle and had a strict budget, the first thing that happens is we go on a test drive for a vehicle that we can make work thats 4 grand more than we have to spend. We were then told they would buy our truck for 3 times what was eventually offered. Eventually, we decided on a used vehicle we were able to buy but they wouldnt budge on the price, so we left to sleep on it.Talking with my boss/friend about this (hes a much better haggler than me) he decided to go in there and make the same offer we did and left nothing but his number. Magically, they were able to make this happen the next day. My wife and I went in, and told them what happened and were able to get them to honor the deal (not before adding $150 mystery fee). I then asked about the safety of the vehicle and pointed out things like the broken speedometer and the airbag warning light which they said were fixed and flat out lied about the issue. Then they told me it passed safety inspection and this and that and that all the basic stuff was good. On the way home the speedometer stopped working and the airbag lights came back on. I called them the next day and was just transferred to parts department. Fast forward 3.5 weeks and my wife is driving home after picking up our kids from school when the brakes go out on her. We hauled the vehicle into our shop and found that the rotor was halfway gone and the caliper was shattered from pressing into the vents! In this time we have put less than a thousand miles on this rig and we were told it had new brakes and its been inspected. So I went into the dealership in person and was told we didnt promise you anything in writing or basically sucks to be you. Then I was promised a call from the owner to help sort this out - that was a week ago! Still nothing. The best part, the cost of the repairs I was asking add up to less than the mystery fee they tacked onto the agreed price. All in all, the $150 they saved on this issue costed them a future customer and nearly the lives and safety of my wife and 4 children.

Profit to this owner/manager, Gerad Remus, far outweighs customersatisfaction. I bought a 1-owner 2015 Accord for $16k from thisdealership after a test-drive on the highway where they are located.When I got into town in Kearney, every bump on the road felt like ahuge pothole! So I took it to my mechanic to see if something waswrong, he discovered it had street-racing struts with very littlespring. I contacted Gerad Remus about the situation in hopes he wouldhave the struts replaced with the correct part since it drasticallyaffected the quality of the vehicle. After all.. they have their ownservice dept right?! But no, each conversation led to the same thing..he didnt have the means to pay his service dept for the repairsince he did NOT PROFIT ENOUGH off of my vehicle and would be losingmoney. He also insisted a strut is a strut and this car passedinspection. Yes, I bought the car as-is but had I known about thismodification I would not have made the purchase. He did offer to havethe repair done at his cost, but would be paid by me.. somethingaround $1,300 which about half of that was labor. My husband told me togive up on trying to work something out with him since it was obviouswe were stuck with making this repair. We will be having ourhighly-trusted mechanic do the work for less than half of what GeradRemus was willing to charge us.

Dropped off our 2018 Equinox for some recall work. I think they did the recall work, but you would think they would wash it as a courtesy for our time. But no, wasnt washed. GMC dealer would have done that. Service receptionist was also very grouchy. Too bad.

Took My Cadillac CTS in for repairs, was told the vehicle was ready for pickup.When I got the vehicle noticed that I was getting alerts: Service Traction Control, Service Break Assist, etc.I had to tell them that the vehicle was showing these alerts and they decided to keep the vehicle for another day to fix the issues. These alerts where not the reason for the visit. This is not the first time this has happened.Another time I took my Chevy Silverado in for an oil change and while in the shop they ran another vehicle ran into mine damaging the read end.Another time I took my Cadillac CTS in for Hail damage repairs and it was returned with the moon roof assembly incorrectly mounted and water got into my vehicle.Another time I took my Checy Silverado for hail damage repairs, they stated it was ready but they forgot to replace a broken passenger rear view mirror.In all instances proper corrections where made after I pointed out the issues, but I no longer trust their service and feel that they are doing a very poor job due to lack of attention to detail. These recurring issues have led me to the conclusion I am better off taking my vehicles elsewhere.Its to bad cause I really liked Jerry Remus dealership.
