Needed some outdoor fabric for a sailboat project and they had the perfect fabric in the perfect color. The sales ladies were extraordinarily friendly and gracious. One even found me a discount app on my phone to use. It was one of the nicest shopping experience I have had in a long time. This will be my go to store for more boat projects.

They had everything I needed and plus some, went to go look around for things I will need in the future, and stopped to look at the sewing machines, the lady that was in charge of that section came over like it was a car dealership, asking if I was looking to buy one, I said not today but I’m looking and the vibe she gave me basically turned into a if you’re not buying go away kind of vibe she was not nice with her tones and made me feel like I couldn’t look around the store freely,I’m not sure if they work off commission with the sewing machine but that’s how it felt, I left after that because I felt so uncomfortable, if only i could explain it better but will not be returning. Cashier lady at the front was super nice tho 10/10 for her

This store is a train wreck, pattern drawers don’t openThey are crammed together, pattern books and table horribly decrepit, sale signs never taken down so you cant be sure your getting the sale price. JoAnn’s overall is joke with their over inflated prices and then offering coupons.

Nice workers. But I was there today to buy a candy melt to make cake pop..and melt the chocolate..so I called ..was on sale on line for 26.99..no issues..cashier let manger know she was doing a price match..over the ear piece..I herd mangers ask cashier why didnt I just do a pickup buy..I said because I was at Marcs next store was no need..manger was not nice ..RUDE..I will drive to Hobby lobby before I spend another dollar at Joann fabric..

Prices are way more fair than I remembered and the store is well stocked. Be careful though. Set a timer on your watch and make your way to the checkout when it goes off, otherwise youll buy way more things for projects that you will never do.

I go to this location probably a few times a month. Everytime I go in, I see a clean and tidy store. (As a person who used to work in retail, I know that is hard to do sometimes.) All the items are well organized and easy to find. And when I check out, I am always greeted by warm and friendly cashiers.

The staff are all very nice and helpful but even before covid the lines are ridiculously slow. The fabric cutting station is just as slow and the employees take their time chatting with customers even though there’s a long line. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush. The store does have good selection but the pace needs to pick up.

Im finding out that Jo-Ann fabrics is actually overpriced.... Im being forced to search out materials for my projects elsewhere... I hope they figure it out cuz I want to see them last.

The place is really clean and organized. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Manager Carolyn is amazing. She will make sure you walk out as a satisfied and happy customer. You will always find good sales and you can always get coupons online or email or just ask the staff because they always have paper coupons. I always enjoy my trips to Joann Fabrics.

Expensive and not the most intuitive when it comes to placement of items. Staff was polite and friendly and store was clean and organized other than that.

Nice store with kind employees. Im always confuse with some of their coupons and offers, but thanks to the coupons I have saved a lot of $money$.

I’m giving 2 stars because Cherie was very nice and sweet from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. KARLENE however was nasty nasty nasty. Looked at us like trash. Refused to speak, glared at us as she walked past, and as we were resolving an issue at the end of the night was condescending to her coworkers and us at the register in front of others. Very unsettling to witness and it’s clear she’s a hostile employee to be around and not at all a team player. Pity to her fellow employees.

Been here a couple of times, now. Boy, the cost of fabric has gone up. Found the toy snakes I was looking for. Searched everywhere for them. Finally found them here. Went with the alternative to use tubing, pipe cleaner, and air dry foam clay to make my own.Also found some sea glass and natural stone for a magic wand project. Ended up going with some sea glass from Dollar Tree. DT had a bag for a buck, & JoAnnes was more like $8. To be fair, the JoAnne selection was larger & better quality, but we were going to paint over them anyway.

Went in to buy a wreath for the front door. The sale was purchase 1 wreath and get 2 free.Number #1- I dont need 3 wreaths.Number#2 - no way would I pay $59.99 for a wreath!!Your so called sales are a joke.

Limited stock at expensive prices.Many shelves were empty and price increase was significantly noticeable.Found a nice wreath for the front door.Nice... but nothing extravagant...Nice was 50% off.... intrigued.....Checked the price tag. .. $100.00.Sticker shock was an understatement!!!Went to another store to find one extravagant & gorgeous $29.99.Ill pay for quality but in comparison the one I bought vs the one at JOANNs there was no comparison. We looked at a blanket kit on sale it was $49.99. I can buy one already made for that price. This used to be my crafting go to. They always carried unique items at a reasonable cost. With these prices it is not so much so.

Joann has taken soooo much of my money this whole COVID season. I bought so much sheeet (PG version of the “S” word, that is a curse word in America but not in my home country)... lol. They have a lot of fleece on clearance. My new fav is the Sew Lush fleece. It is so soft and fluffy. I’m making lounging robes for my 2 boys and their cousins for Christmas, cause according to my 6 year old “Mommy I just really need a rob for lounging...”. My kids are hilarious.

Some times they dont always have what I want or need but the people always make up for what they dont have in stock.

Great store, lots of different craft possibilities. The store at Great Northern in North Olmsted, OH no longer has a wedding supply section I was told they discontinued it. Bummer!

The lines at the North Olmsted store are ALWAYS long and there’s usually only one cashier and a customer service rep. I’ve stopped going because I’m not waiting half an hour in line.

The tattooed dude at the register was very pleasant and a welcome change from the usually sighs I get over the top of the cashiers glasses. Dont really understand why there is always a line to check out no matter when you go in there, but thats life.

I usually like this place as it is one of the bigger stores. This trip seemed slightly different. The aisles are not spacious at all. Other customers and myself had to show great manners and opt to go up or down a separate aisle as both carts wouldnt fit especially by the fleece. I giggled as a lady knocked over one. Well I went down an aisle and pulled one only to end up picking up 5 on my side and 6 on the other (a gentleman laughed at me too😂- karma). Not well thought out especially considering the sale they have going on with the fleece. Waiting to have fabric cut was a little disheartening as some people had pulled numbers while others had not. Luckily we were all very understanding and honest about who was next. The checkout lines moved rather slow and the area seemed rather congested. Sorry JoAnns. I usually love going to your stores.

$34.99 for a craveable pumpkin! $24.99 for 6 little pumpkins. People do crafts because they cant afford to buy items for the holidays. Even with 40%off. Its not worth buying.

They have everything. Wish theyd concentrate on better prices overall vs endless coupons, but thats a corporate strategy.

Selection of sewing and craft supplies could NOT be more diverse. Maybe the worse thing I had trouble with is the store is so diverse, I always have to ask in what general direction to start my shopping. But then I have always found what I wanted there no matter how unusual my requests were. One time I took a granddaughters dress in so I could alter it. I needed a complementary fabric, weight, kind and colors. Found several choices. Once in a lifetime find. JoAnn Fabric makes my life joyful.

If I dont walk in there with an idea of my own, I always find great ideas just strolling up and down the aisles. I never get tired of the incredible fabrics that they have and all the things that could be done with them. I love the fact that you could still have things framed there and they do a beautiful job of it. And when Im looking for that special gift idea, I can build my own gift basket just from wonderful things they sell: from jewelry, to candies, to home decor, yarns to create something with, candles, plaques, theres just so much there that makes gift-giving and projects truly enjoyable as well as affordable.

Decent fabric selection & lots of other craft items. Good sales on seasonal items. Very helpful sewing department. There almost always seems to be a lack of staff which usually means a wait for cutting fabric and a line to check out so make sure to have enough time for that.

A sales associate took the time to locate a Rowenta iron for me as the display model was no longer in stock. Her kindness was much appreciated.

It is nice. My mom and I have been going to this store for as long as I can remember. Way before when it was just a fabric store. Way before they made it bigger and added everything. We still go when we need fabric for things. That is usually the main reason we go. I like the character fabric selection and the quilting fabric selection. It is nice how they have the coupons. Mainly what I dont like is around the holidays they have the scented pinecones in front. I know many people do and most stores have them. I just needed to get that off my chest. I am just sensitive to smells and the cinnamon scent used makes me queasy. That is just me and that isnt why I took away a star. I remember when they had tables you could sit at to look in the pattern books to find patterns. Made things much easier.

Im a crocheter, so I went in looking for yarn. I was a little disappointed, but its a nice place. Very clean & the staff were helpful & friendly. I ended up in this store more than an hour bc theres so much to look at & get distracted by. I really had to control my urge to spend more money. Ill be back.

Came looking for fabric and was really pleased with the selection. Ladies there were very helpful.

I love this store, their selection and the ideas i get here, but they seem to be perpetually understaffed!The folks who work here are lovely theres just not enough of them.Theres almost always a huge line for the front registers and for getting your fabric cut. Which means if you cant find what you need in the store and need to ask someone for assistance theres simply no one available.

Horrible customer service. I sew for a living and was shocked and dishearten to see the lack of care and knowledge on how to cut and handle fabrics properly. I drove almost an hour out of my way to come to this location for a particular piece of fabric which was in stock in their store online, not only did they not have the quantity they stated they had online the quantity they had was cut to shreds. To make the trip even more taxing the cutting counter was all out of order people were cutting people there was no organization it was utter choas. Very sad to write this review when all of my other experiencs at other locations have been amazing.

I enjoyed browsing through the store. This is a large store with a decent selection of fabric, crafts, and includes a Viking/Husqvarna section. They also offer classes.

I love making thingsBut will probably try my luck at another competitor. They have good sales occasionally..but the worst in customer service. Impossible to find anyone to help you, and this has been their way for years. Coupons are for ONE item only, which is lame..most prices are too high anyway. Not a fan anymore

It is a Monday evening and there are only 2 people working up front. I can’t find the yarn the website says they have. No one can help me find it because there are only 1 people who can look and the line is 8 deep so they have to take care of it first. I would leave but I need the yarn to finish my blanket for a wedding gift. If it turns out they don’t have it.....

I have been an employee of this store since October coming from our Akron location. When I first arrived, the store manager, Vicki Collins was still new and transitioning her team from the previous management. During my tenure there, I have worked in all facets including register and cutting counter. I am always helpful and have tried to guide the staff to provide exceptional customer service. If you have not been to this store lately, please give us another try....you wont be disappointed!!

I had to wait almost 30 minutes at the cloth cutting counter. There were 2 people but one had a man with a lot of cloth to be cut and the other person looked at the line and walked away. I rang the bell & the employee still there called for help. It took a while for someone to come. The comment was made that the other employee had to clock out.Seems to me that was more important than the line of customers waiting for help.I have been VERY disappointed in this store lately. It must be the management .

This Joanns is such a dangerous place for me to visit b/c its one of the biggest ones in my area. They have amazing selections! And so much fabric... Their staff is also extremely friendly and willing to help. I often discuss my projects with them to make sure Im on the right path and getting what I need when Im making my purchase.As for Joanns as a company - Im a little sad that they are getting more and more completed projects like jewelry and home decor that dont involve being as creative. Though their internal design team has AMAZING taste. And Im sorry to hear they are working towards ending all mailed coupons and going 100% on their app b/c I feel like there are a lot of the older generation that dont use smart phones that wont be happy with that. But Ill never stop shopping there. :) They have good product, still a strong selection, and good prices. And their coupons are often really good.
