I bought a washer a week ago and had it delivered but the lid didnt lock so the washer wouldnt spin the clothes, I called the next day and they had me another washer brought out to my house and it did the exact same thing.. So my husband took the 2nd washer back today and they replaced it with a way nicer washer then what I originally paid for!! I love my new washer and appreciate this place!! Great guys!

Never been more aggravated. My elderly disabled mother went there and seems that she was taken advantage of. Her fridge had gone bad and she needed a new one. She purchased a supposedly BRAND NEW Frididaire refrigerator freezer. Its been one week and the refrigerator portion is room temperature with the temperature all the way up. I called and got an attitude. Some guy claimed he was the manager but when I called back and he didnt know it was me, he said the manager wasnt in. Its Wednesday and we waited until the new fridge to go grocery shopping. All of the food either has or is going bad. The so called manager said he cant bring another one until 6 days from today and hes not sending his drivers out on overtime when he doesnt have to. Bad customer service. Horrible product. I wish zero stars was an option

Great customer service overcame a couple of bumps. My mom got a couple of appliances from American Freight when it was a Sears Outlet, and was happy with the experience, particularly because the out-of-carton options helped her limited budget. She sent me there when her washer needed to be replaced. The selection and purchase process was very quick, and they were able to arrange delivery the next day. The delivery team, Dillon and Dominic, were prompt, quick, and polite getting the machine set up. Unfortunately, when we did the first load, we found the machine didn’t work. When I called Assistant Manager Ray, he quickly identified an in-box replacement he could exchange at no extra cost. Delivery wasn’t available for a couple of days. However, he was able to fit me into a cancellation a day earlier than expected, because he remembered that I wanted to make sure things were working while I was available. Even though the first machine didn’t work, I was really impressed with the quick responses, lack of hassle, and friendly customer service from all the people I talked to during the few days we sorted things out. And now my mom is set up with a reliable washing machine in less than a week. In her words, “At 87 years old, I have a tendency to panic when things dont work right.Thanks to my daughter and your quick and reliable workforce, I am now going to wash clothes with confidence that all will go well. Thank you AmericanFreight!“

Appliances are great quality and great prices, however, if they sell you on the extra protective agreement BEWARE! There is literally so much red tape to go through. American Freight and Protection Service Agreement company DO NOT communicate with each other. Luckily I called the service company to see if my agreement was active and they said American Freight DOES NOT communicate with them and activate it. The customer has to call and set it up for themselves. I was NOT told that at American Freight. They need to disclose that information.

We purchased a scratch and dent GE french door refrigerator. Our sales rep was knowledgeable and helped with the sale. The delivery guys were awesome! They removed the fridge doors and made it through the outside doors quickly. They did a great job setting things up! Highly recommended!

He obviously knows what he’s doing and when we found out that the dryer we wanted was mislabeled as electric he was able to swap and give us an incredible deal on another (due to the mistake)!!!! The prices are good and the customer service is bad. I paid for delivery and haul away. The installers cracked the water line to the refrigerator. After they left I turned on the water and water sprayed everywhere. I called and the manager Ray and he told me I didnt buy a water line so just tighten it up.

They were extremely helpful and found exactly what I was looking for and had it shipped to my location. Excellent customer service.

Bought a used washer. Got it home and it sounded and operated TERRIBLY! Called up Scott the next day and he promised to make it up to me. Came back in a few days later and Scott went above and beyond to resolve my issue. I love this place. Ill definitely be back for a sofa and probably a fridge as well. Hopefully I wont need a dryer soon, (knock on wood), but if I do, I know where Ill look first.Be patient selection is a little low at the moment, like all of the appliance stores,, but check back frequently. Customer service was hands-down top notch!

Got a washer home that was slightly damaged exterior. Started a load it sounded like a woodchipper running. Was told to bring it back and it would be taken care of. Lee did EXACTLY what she said shed do which was make sure i got something comparable. So although a setback beyond there control. It was made right. Great deals on appliances..

Today was the day for my new fridge and Oh my was it a day.. these two gentlemen Dylan and Dominic was AWESOME. Not only did they get the fridge in and set it up but the old one was removed .. thanks to them, the door needed to be removed from my back they also did that .... Woww

Very nice selection of refrigerators and stoves. Very friendly staff. They have great prices on brand new, but slightly off new appliances. Id check them out before going to the box stores. We saved $1100 on a new refrigerator. I highly recommend you check them out.

Not sure where they get this stuff. Its like a pawn shop for appliances... repo rentals, foreclosed buildings..... its cheap, it gets tested, its high end, but.... you better get online for new handles, doors, glass. All cosmetic issues. Great if youre bored and want to flip high end appliances... probably make a killing...

Sears is still alive! The stuff is all scratch and dent but at a very reasonable reduced price. Worth a 45 minute drive or so. Plus there is Ollies right next door. Its a discount store that is worth stopping into.

Good prices but basically no stock in house and no real idea of when more was coming.

I placed an order online and opted to pick up myself. I walked into the store and saw one employee sitting on a couch that was on display for purchase, using his phone. He looked at me, over his phone, and didnt say a word: no hi, how can i help you, nothing. I turned right and saw about 6 employees sitting around a credit application station. They all had their phones out. One employee, standing by the seated employees, made eye contact with us. Not a single other employee even looked at us, let alone acknowledged that we had walked into the store. Not a single employee at this point had said a word to us. We stopped walking and the employee that had made eye contact with us previously asked us if we needed help. This one employee conducted the entire pick up process. He was friendly and courteous, i wish i had gotten his name. It was awkward. Ill opt for delivery next time or just buy from home depot next time.

Shopped here a couple days after Christmas, store was hot, and the sale signs were being taken down, but the manager greeted us right away, apologized for the heat and assured us that he would still honor the sale pricing. customer service is not dead, thank you for being so kind and helpful!!

NEVER again will I shop at this store. The purchasing was fine. However, the day they were supposed to deliver my washer, they were 3hrs late!! Not one phone call, not one apology...nothing. It took me calling 3x to find out what was happening. I had to miss work for this and they couldnt be bothered to even say sorry. I can honestly see why Sears is going under. Lesson learned. Will stick with local shops or Home Depot.

I would NEVER buy an appliance from Sears ever again!!! I had 3 repair people at my home in less than 3 weeks! They will NOT help me at all with returning my washer and dryer unit! I loved this store when it was Sears Outlet. They now have junk. They are supposed to be like an outlet store. Wanted more for a smelly Refrigerator with a huge dent than a brand new one with no dents in other stores. I noticed people walking in then leaving. We did the same thing

Delivery and set up was horrible. Connected hot water hose to cold water spot on washer. Set washer to cold and had steam coming out of washer. Did not connect dryer duct securely to dryer or wall. Bumped dryer and duct fell off wall. Pulled dryer out to fix it and duct fell off dryer. Fasteners were not attached even close to where they should be. Very disappointed. I can now understand why Sears is in trouble. I probably will never buy an appliance from Sears again.

I found myself in need of a new washing machine. Stopped in and met Ed. Right away I knew this is where I wanted to do business. My husband and I purchased a whirlpool refrigerator freezer that we LOVE but unfortunately the freezer door broke so we came back to the store to purchase a deep freezer until we could afford to get it fixed. As soon as we walked in we were greeted but judi who was so welcoming. Not only did she assist us with our new purchase but she provided us with information to find out about our warranty and much more! So now we can also get our freezer fixed as well free of charge! As if this wasn’t enough she entertained our two crazy kids by choice and they loved her. Thank you Judi for being as amazing as possible and making our trip there spectacular!!!!!!! This place has a huge selection of furniture and appliances. I was really impressed with the quality of the items, and even more so with the customer service. Tyler (also known as Tuna) was extremely knowledgeable about the products and even the quality of the brands. Buying a house is definitely stressful, and buying appliances is no exception. He made this a really fun and pleasant experience!

We bought our dryer at a home improvement store at full price, because our dryer broke. Months later we decided to buy the matching washer, but stopped in at Sears outlet and saw it there. It was $400 less because it had a scratch on the side. Which was barely noticeable..and who would see it?. Its been 4 years and its still working great. We did buy a warranty just in case.Today my husband and I stopped in. The store needs more employees..and they were training..but they seemed overwhelmed. We went a bit ignored, but we did understand, and ended up saving another $400.The small electronics and tools list prices are overpriced and their sale prices are what we all know to be normal prices. Big ticket items are what to purchase here. Bring a truck as delivery for a mattress is $80+. They will help you load it.

Went way down hill since they changed ownership . Marked up scratch and dent items by ay least 70 percent over normally marked at a store to try and make it seem like your getting a good deal

My advice is to NOT buy anything from Sears. They once were a respected corporation but theyve hit the skids. Sears sent me a $72 refund check for an item they advertised but didnt actually carry, and the check they sent me bounced. My bank charged me a $19 fee for Sears insolvency. Today, Sears sent me another $72 refund check without reimbursing the bank fee I was charged by my bank.I wanted a Certified Check to guarantee my refund, or at least verification that the check they sent me is good, so I called both Sears Holding Company and Bank Of America who issued the check. I was on the phone for two+ hours to both corporations with no luck; I was unable to talk to anyone other than customer service phone people. My next step is to contact the Attorney General of my State to get my refund from Sears.A Facebook friend said hed returned a refrigerator and his Sears refund check bounced as well -- TWICE!Additionally, Sears is STILL advertising the item I purchased for which they sent me a refund check because, They didnt carry the product anymore. (NOTE: Thats Consumer Fraud)

Excellent place for appliances if you’re looking for dent and scratch items. I purchased a fridge for my daughter here. The staff was helpful. The store had a large variety of appliances that were all heavily discounted as well as other discounted items such as rugs, kitchen gadgets, tools, household items.

I have bought a number of things from the Sears outlet store in North Olmsted and Im always treated with respect and get good prices on what might otherwise be a slight scratch and dent item.Some of the things are even scratched on the side for example, when its something thats going to be placed inside Cabinetry or next to a wall.The price reductions are phenomenal and you can outfit and entire house with things from Sears Outlet.I even bought a garden tractor and it was delivered for free!

I gave three stars because they have a wide selection BUT we were in the store for at least 30 minutes and not one employee asked if we had any questions or even said hello or goodbye. Went somewhere else and bought a refrigerator because the customer service sucked.

The electric stove we purchased does not work properly. Regardless of how many different ways we try, its either not heating up at all or its burning the food. I have been cooking all my life, this is not a user error. $600 later!
