Amazing bookstore with knowledgeable staff. I was instantly greeted and helped to find books that interest me. After talking more with staff, I was able to buy the absolute perfect book for me! I have no idea how the staff knew what I was looking for, even more than I did.I will be back soon!

Great little book shop. Love being able to get a credit for my read books and applying it to my next purchases. If your looking for something, they will check for you and if they dont have it call you when it comes in. Staff is always helpful and very friendly. They also do a great job of keeping customers and employees safe during these crazy times.

This is one of those rare treasures at the beach. Great store and great staff!

I am an avid reader. While on vacation I love finding a used book store. It allows me to mingle with locals, and find discount books to fill my personal library at home. I have been to many of these types of establishments, but none have been so neatly organized as Bookends. Their selection is vast and neatly arranged alphabetically and sorted by subject matter. Their selection is more modern, lacking some of the classics, but overall it was a pleasant surprise. The staff was enormously kind and helpful. My aunt lives nearby and stated that her friends had shared a similar great experience at Bookends. I saw they also offer a book buy back program to further discount their prices. I have to say if you are in North Myrtle Beach SC, its a great place to check out and load up on reading material.

My son likes to read a lot. The employee was a little off putting and borderline rude when he asked if she could look up a book he was looking for. She continued that attitude with me. Assumptions about people can be wrong and a hypothesis is the same as a guess which is an assumption. Lol. Dont judge a book by its cover is all I have to say. He knows things that would have some curled in a ball in a corner so to see some book lady be so belittling to another person is frustrating to say the least. We walked out and wont have any reason to go back. Prices are high too by the way. Coming from a thrifty MRI tech thats solid advice. Not an assumption.

Very enjoyable used book store. Kinda cramped (but what used book store isnt?) It is very bright and has a book smell about it. Plenty of books in each section despite the size of shop. I just can repeat how much I enjoy this place. Every time Im in town I try to visit.

A pleasing book store.Id seen Bookends dozens of times over the years, but never gone inside, for whatever reason. Well, I finally shopped there recently, and Im glad I did, for it turned out to be just what I needed that day. Huge selection, reasonable prices, logical layout, plus an exchange program. And, friendly folks working there, to boot. I came away with both a book and a source for future candidates. Good deal :-)So, thanks for the store, and for your service. Im really grateful to have a place where I know I can get a new read when I need it.

They have the best selection and nicest staff. They trade books and if you buy it from them theyll take it in on trade even if they are no longer taking it in from other people.
