After purchasing a R317 at Bob Hewes, multiple issues have come up just a couple of months after. I understand that this happens, but when its not taken care of in a professional manner and multiple weeks have gone by where both Bob Hewes owners have been notified and not a single call has been provided thats pretty unfortunate. Requesting for me to spend money out of pocket for something that was not fully disclosed during a sales process and for a warranty issue is unprofessional when purchasing a new boat. Hopefully this can get resolved correctly.

Walked into Bob Hewes dealer in Miami and was met by a sales associate Ernie. Spent some time going over different models and options. I took a test drive in the R207 and decided to buy. I special ordered a Robalo R207 in March and of course the stupid Covid thing shut down the factory in Georgia for a few weeks but boat was delivered in June exactly as I ordered. Ernie spent a great deal of time going over all equipment and features of my new boat. I am very happy with the service and the product. Will buy again from Ernie and Bob Hewes.

I purchased 2 new T25LA outboards about two years ago. One unit has been a little difficult to shift for a month and several weeks ago froze in neutral. I tracked the issue down to the shift link and called the dealer who had told me to feel free to call if I had problems. All I wanted was to know if it would be covered by the warranty. If not, some suggestions on removing the link. Instead I was lectured to and heard someone in the background trying to encourage the person talking to me to get both units brought in for servicing the lower unit. I have the needed parts for servicing the lower unit. The issue with shifting was not a lower unit problem.When the lecture was over I realized I would get no help. I now have the shift link in hand. I removed it. The unit will not turn in the brackets. There are no lubrication points. It looks like metal on plastic. The plastic could have swollen. The bracket showed no sign of rust. Hard to believe the service department has either never seen this before and could not have agreed with my summation and could not have offered suggestions. I have ordered the replacement parts.

I bought a brand new 2017 265 Robalo at the North Miami location. I live in Georgia, and I had an issue with the seats on the boat. I called the service department, and I talked to Fernando Molina. He really helped me out, and called the Robalo company himself to order new cushions for my boat. Since I live in Georgia, Fernando Molina did everything possible to find me a dealer closer to where I live, so I did not have to drive to Miami. Atlanta Marine, a dealership close to me, called me a few days ago to tell me Fernando Molina took care of everything, so all I need to do is take my boat to them and get my new cushions. Dont waste your time and money here. I purchased 100 hr parts here and Juan gave me one spark plug that was different. When i went to return the $5.66 part, they would not accept the return. I was planning on buying over $125 in other parts and have spent quite a bit in the past.Still running an old, inflexible business model in a dump of a location has impacted their ability to make good decisions and provide service. All of my future business and my friends are going elsewhere. Hope the $5.66 spark plug was worth it.

I’ve called twice because I’m very interested in it and both times someone answered then forwarded me to the sales department were it would ring until answer machine answered and I left a message both times with my information to please call back and never heard back from them. What a great experience it was to get my boat fixed up and ready for the summer. The Mechanics where great and very knowledgeable. They recommended me to fix a couple things that I didnt notice before that would have given me problems in the future. They where able to fix a couple stress cracks helped me pick out a new GPS/Depthfinder and installed it for me. Boat looks brand new again. The staff is very professional and courteous. A+ in my book!

Dont trust them with your boat!After purchasing boat there, they miss diagnosed WATER IN GAS problem !Every three months they would blame unleaded gas and dump my New Gas and clean carburetor!Holes on the top of gas tank was discovered at a reputable repair shop.Dont throw away $$$ with these stooges!They LOST CONTRACT with multiple law enforcement municipalities FOR GOOD REASON!!

I am a professional complainer... That said, I ONLY complain when things go right. I bought a new Robalo R-242 from Bob Hewes, almost 3 years ago. I had 1 occasion to have service done & it was taken care of, no issue...2 days ago, I went out & uncovered my boat to use it with friends for the day. To start, my boat floats 7/24. I usually leave my battery switch in the #1 or #2 position. When I switched to Both, the main battery switch failed. No action, no switching. then the boat went dead. About a minute later, it came to life again & everything was functioning. The engine trimmed down & ran. I checked it a few times & said, O.K., We get home today, or I call Tow Boat US. I was staying local. It got us home, no issues. After docking, I flushed the engine trimmed it up & then the boat was dead again.Yesterday at 10 or so, I spoke with Fernando, the B.H. Service Manager. he understood the nature of a boat, dead in the water. No bilge pumps, nothing... He also mentioned about the boat show coming up & may not have the resources to get to my boat before then. Today, the next day, I got a call from Fernando, saying a mechanic was on the way to my boat to complete the service & would check the entire electrical system. THats Response!When we buy complex machines such as a car, a boat, or a plane we will need service. I happen to own all 3...We really do not know how the service & support from a dealer will be until we come to use it.Fernando & the team at Bob Hewes showed me that customer service is not a cute phrase, but is action. They took action & made me a client for life. I can sell my boat at any time, but I will stay with Bob Hewes, as a client.I own a service business & understand customer happiness.....They made me a Life Long customer, today. Thanks Fernando!
