My shopping experience was a successful one! Quick and quiet… store basically to myself upon Sunday opening time. Matt was patient and informative while I did circles around the store asking questions about various products and comparing carpet options, availability. I appreciated his knowledge of the carpet product lines and willingness to help me make a decision that was right for my renovation.

We recently purchased a beautiful white carpet runner at Dolphin Carpet & Tile. After going to the showroom, Ron who works there and helped us came to our home and brought samples so we could see what everything looked like in our house. The process was easy and pleasant. Everything was great until our new puppy soiled the carpet. I called Ron and he came out less than a week later with a portable steam cleaner. He actually cared about our satisfaction and went ABOVE & BEYOND! HE did that for free as a courtesy. Amazing customer service. I would definitely recommend this company an Ron who works there! Also, I purchased puppy gates .lol!

Going to the store, I met Matt, who took the time to present many options and worked with me to set a convenient time for installation. He further helped me when I had to adjust the time because of a conflict with a work-related issue. I have purchased several carpets at this store over the years. The most recent one was installed a few days ago, quite expertly. The sales person who helped me with the purchase, was Ron, the store manager. He was helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I am now working with another associate, Matt Smith, on another, larger, purchase. He has been very helpful, and he also knows his stuff. No one has ever pushed me or pressured me and that is what I prefer. Matt has also arranged to send carpet samples to two locations, one local and the other 1200 miles away, since we were about to head north and he was concerned that the sample might arrive until Friday after we left. Once we’ve made our final carpeting choice I will happily give him the sale.

I liked the variety of flooring they have on display. I found what I was looking for and the staff was very helpful.

I need to get the floor in our bedroom replaced due to a leak. The existing floor is hardwood,and I wanted to be sure that I was dealing with a company that would be able to work with us (as we still need be sure that we found and repaired the source of the leak). I met with Ron of the North Miami Beach store and he agreed to do the job in two stages. He also showed my wife and I a line of new flooring that we liked and gave us an estimate based on different scenarios. After getting the exact measurements, Ron gave me a total that was closely in line with the estimate. The service we have received so far has been terrific and we are now ready to move ahealld with the installation.

While shopping for flooring (wood laminated) here, I was shown only one glossy ugly choice that was available at the advertised 99¢ sq. ft. The salesman was distant and not engaged. I went to Home Depot and found a wide variety at 99¢ sq ft. I’ll never go to Dolphin for flooring

Unwelcoming and unprofessional service! Waited two weeks for the measuring guy, who never called and never showed. Ron unaware of what was going on. Called to get a refund told me he would call me back because he was with a customer. I ended up going to the store for the refund, Ron got a call while I was there and then had the audacity to make me wait while he took the call with his legs crossed ! Worst service !

We called Dolphin Carpet & Tile for carpet installation on our floating stairs. Because we wanted sisal/sea grass and not regular carpet, it was a very difficult job. However, with the assistance of Ron Sorkin, the sales person who was with us from beginning to end and took care of every detail including numerous phone calls and trips to our home in South Miami. Kudos also to Dave, our installer, who painstakingly made sure seams were not visible and the wood was not damaged during the installation process - Excellent job! I was planning to renovate both bathrooms in my Art Deco home in Hollywood. I could only get the retro colors from companies that produced them special order. The tiles were ridiculously expensive so I had to take another route.I went to the Dolphin Store in N Miami and spent an entire afternoon with Mr Sorkin on the phone to his reps trying to locate comparable colors for my project. Back and forth over a few days we were able to order tiles that were actually made here in the US.It took much patience and some extra time to get the results but he stuck with me and I am nearly finished!He went the extra mile to solve a problem I had when I was unable to get Bullnose Tiles to finish the wall and suggested another trim product to finish the look.When in need of professional guidance for any project for tile trust Dolphin .

A year and 4 months ago we installed flooring across our entire house ($7k+) with their product and installation team. When first installed looked amazing. Turns out that after a year and a half the vinyl planks are lifting up and separating allowing water and dirt to go underneath and make the foam base visible, I wish I could post pictures.Unfortunately the installation warranty expired after a year. The store manager came out to see it and mentioned he’s never seen this happening before. I won’t recommend using them since they are not helping us, or been able to explain what is going on.

My family and I came in today. I am very, very disappointed in the service we received. The gentlemen would not come over to assist us. Instead he sat at his desk and kept writing. My mother is elderly and was walking on a walker. She had to ask him to come over and assist us. Also whenever she would ask him about a certain item he would automatically say its to expensive. He didnt help us and he assumed we couldnt afford what we were looking for. You dont treat customers this way.

Went into this store to inquire about both carpet and laminate flooring. I was quoted a really high price for not that great of quality material. I then contacted an independent flooring installer and was quoted about half of the price of DC&T with high quality materials and with installation included. No wonder why this place is always empty.

I want to say Ron is the salesman is very nice. He is trying to do the best he can and he even came to inspect the job at my house. He raises the review stars by two. Otherwise I would have given a solid 1 star. However, I do wish that he was a little clearer about the materials as he assumed I knew what I was doing and knew the difference between the materials. I didnt and ended up with something I didnt want. Now it looks beautiful and I do think it is very nice I am just worried I will have a problem with it down the road. now to the bad part. All caps here DO NOT LET THEIR LAMINATE INSTALLERS IN YOUR HOME. Carpet install was ok although I can spot the seams which I dont like. However the laminate installers botched up plenty. I am now waiting for them to come back for the third time to fix baseboards and transitions. They screwed up from over cutting to grossly undercutting too much to crooked cutting. the baseboards were very sloppy, uneven, and in some place leaning in or out to hide their bad cutting. I have repeatedly asked to send a different person to fix it but they refuse. I am worried it will never be right. They even made my sliding glass door have a problem because they over cut. Look their products seem fine but THEIR INSTALL IS TERRIBLE AND OVERPRICED.

Amazing work... These guys were able to put an estimate together and install brand new carpeting in our rented apartment in less than a week. I must give a big thumbs up to DC&T and to their Aventura store manager Ronald Williams whom was a pleasure working with. The installation crew was super professional and made it all look very easy. They help move all of the furniture around and installed these carpets so incredibly great that you will not be able to see at all where they cut. I now love the old TV jingle which I used to detest. I just called to ask a few questions about a carpet I was looking for in a white color. The person that answered the phone said he was not able to send me any pictures of the carpet I was looking for because it would get lost in translation. I am not sure what that means??? I asked how many shades of white carpet do you have he said 12 or so. He then said I am not a mind reader I am with a customer and hung up on me. Very rude and definitely impatient!! I will not be coming in to look at your carpets!Jeff,Thank you for your attempt to resolve this matter. I have already called several other vendors for the carpet I was looking for and found something that I needed. As I told your sales person over the phone I am in Hollywood and I could not get over to your Biscayne location but we would have been able to pick up the carpet if we needed to or have it delivered to the show we are doing in Miami. It would have taken him about two minutes to take a photo and send to my cell or email of a few carpets. White white is not hard to understand. I was not looking for sand, tan or beige I wanted white white. All I needed to know was if you have it or not so I didnt have to waste my time driving all the way to your store. I think you should teach your sales staff to assist all customers not just the ones in front of their face. I can be the judge of the photo and decide if it is clear enough for me or not. I dont need the sales person to tell me what I need wont work. He should have just sent me the pictures or called me back after he was done with his face to face customer if he/she was more important. Again thank you for your response but I am already taking my business elsewhere.

Walked in to look at some floor tiles for a remodel project. Salesperson was on the phone loudly talking to what sounded like his boss. I had some questions but was never approached. Walked over to the desk and gestured for some help and he put his finger up like I was interrupting him and said wait. Just rude. I walked out and will never return.

The tiles order came on time, and the tile installators came at the days sheduled. It was very easy to make business with Mr Williams (the store manager).
