Highly recommend this gun store and range. Had a great time on our vacation through SC and this was a highlight! The store is well stocked with a decent selection of accessories. I brought my son, daughter, and wife in today for a private class with Dan, he was a true professional and made everyone feel safe, and the entire experience enjoyable along the way. All of the staff was courteous and the entire facility was very well kept. The range is in great shape, and the rental firearms are all well kept. Very nice place, absolutely worth a visit for all of your firearm needs.

We had an amazing and safe time with PJ and Cody! I hate guns and did this with a bridal party as a pre wedding activity, but these two made sure that their eyes were on us and we’re safe during our entire time. THANK YOU!!

Excellent experience! We went for a family group experience for my sons 18th birthday. Jeff was super helpful, professional and made all us first timers feel very comfortable and confident. He answered all our questions during the classroom instruction followed by having the gun range all to ourselves. I highly recommend them!

Forgot my instructors name but I had a private lesson yesterday at 5:30pm the guy was very professional and polite and very knowledgeable made me alot more comfortable with what I was doing. Anybody who never fired a gun before schedule a private lesson it is worth the money. Definitely would recommend this place to my family and friends.

This is a top notch range for sure. The guys who run the front desks are all decked out like operators and they are very helpful with your gun toting needs lol safety is a key factor here and thats truly assuring when you’ve got a lot of people who have no idea what they’re doing. Took my sig in to sight the red dot and i couldn’t be happier. They had everything i needed and the RSO working that day gave me some pointers on finding the dot within the glass. I have been very hesitant to get into firing a handgun for a long time, and it has been years since firing a gun at all... my parents, as well as myself, came in last week for a private lesson and we were very well informed on safety, and functionality of the firearm itself. The instructor then brought us out to the range and worked with all of us on getting used to the feel of holding the gun. Then firing several rounds taking turns. Coming back again very soon for more lessons. Fantastic experience, knowledgeable staff, great with first time shooters, and they will never give you something that you cant handle.

Im an inexperienced shooter and took a private lesson here. It was great! All my questions were answered and I learned how to properly handle and shoot my gun. If you are a new shooter or inexperienced I highly recommended taking a lesson here. I now feel confident I am able to come back and practice on my own.

First time there. Its really clean facility. Range is $20 for pistol and $25 for rifle but totally worth it. You can program your own target movements. They even offer memberships that are really affordable if you plan to go to the range a few times a month. Super friendly staff. Best range Ive been to so far.

Todd was very knowledge and guided my brother and I one the fundamentals of holding and firing a pistol. He is a great instructor to use for inexperienced or new gun users.

I havent been here yet, but when I start getting weekends off again next month, Ill be there. They are really close to me.

Shot there two times so far. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. I brought my own weapon, but they have a ton of rentals to try out. There are ammo restrictions on the range and I had forgot to take my personal defense hollow point rounds out and the range master knew immediately... He was super polite and professional about reminding me of the range rules. As most people know, these types of interactions are not always kind, so thanks to C&S for being both a safe range and a respectful one. Would highly recommend. Also the programmable targets are super fun!!!

The workers here are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I’ve been to many ranges before, but this one stands out from how clean they keep it and the many options of weapons they offer. I drive from Johns Island just to use there range since I know they have my safety as the number one priority and they can answer any questions I may have. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I drive all the way from Johns island just for this range! I’ve stood in line for 1.5 hours just to get in to another range and I’ve never had to do that here! I shot my first gun here, bought my first gun here, and have been back several time since! There’s a very nice young man that works there, not sure if he’s a manager or not, but he was extremely knowledgeable and let me test my gun before I left! He got me set up with everything I’d need and shared stuff about his own guns that made me want even more! We’ll keep coming back as our new Valentine’s Day tradition is to go to the range! Made a purchase yesterday. I was very Specific about warranty. Once the cash was handed over to Salesman he didnt even want to read the warranty of gun. Manager said hed test gun for me in their range. Old lady came out and just stood there while I spoke to Manger! Never introduced herself, very unprofessional!Anyways, the gun test went poorly. The 1st 2 shots were unsuccessful! I asked the Manager why the 1st 2 shots were unsuccessful? His response was, it was him getting use to the gun, hmmm.Thank God for YouTube!The Man I spoke with over the phone was Wonderful but the salesman I dealt with was horrible! Just wanted a sale, maybe too much coffee, seemed to be in a rush! I definitely should have dealt with the Man I spoke to over the phone!Manager, never apologized for his Salesman behavior. They charged me $22.00 for 25 bullets, what a waste of money!Food for thought! Without customers you have no Business!Everyone should be treated with Respect! Salesman/Manger need to take the time to Listen to concerns and explain things to customers not just take the $ and be nonchalant thereafter!1st experience is everything and I will Never go back to this Store ever Again!

Nice, clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The shop side has alot of cool stuff. They also have a simulator room which I have yet to check out.

I went in for the first time today to put a few rounds down range on a newly purchased handgun. I wont talk about how poorly I shot, clearly I need to readdress some fundamentals, but I will say that the service was great. Nice and clean range and very friendly safeties on hand. Every person I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Ill be dropping by again soon for sure.

I went to a different gun store first, they would not remove a gun from a case for me to handle. The explanation was that many women could not even physically operate/handle/rack a gun. The people at C&S dont treat women or other minorities disrespectfully. Jeb on the gun range is so helpful and just a sweetheart. Jelly took his time to give me some instruction and he is also so helpful and knowledgeable. Take it from me, as woman who never thought she would buy a gun and now owns two and is thinking about a third. Guns are like lays potatoes chips, betcha cant stop with one.

My friend and I came here today and it was a great experience. They checked us in, we bought some equipment, watched the short safety video and they helped us out when we needed it. 100% recommend it.

Fantastic range and shop, this is my go-to range, even though there are several closer ranges to where I live, it is very much worth the drive just for the staff alone. You will not find more caring, trustworthy, and hardworking people than the staff of this range. Not to mention it has one of the easiest ranges to use and the entire process is very smooth. Cannot recommend enough, they also have two adorable range dogs.

Very good little gun shop.No, there selection is not as good as the big stores, there customer service more than makes up for it. It’s nice walking into somewhere that the staff actually wants to help, and is knowledgeable on their products. My wife and I signed up for CWP class at the beginning of the year, but because of COVID had to reschedule a couple times. They were very understanding. And we really enjoyed the class and the instructor when we took it

The facilities are state of the art modern! Loved it. Friendly professionals with great service. I brought my out of town visiting family and we had a blast at the range. Great prices too! I have had them work on my guns and have no complaints whatsoever.

I had a great time. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Very patient. Very reasonably priced. $20 range fee and $10 to borrow as many firearms as youd like. Both rifles and pistols. The staff even let me use their personal firearms and dig out some loose ammo so I could try some different weapons without buying a whole box.

Went here with 2 other buddies for a friends birthday, if you ask to shoot the ar-15, they allow you to shoot the owners personal weapon, the owner of this place is very trustworthy of random people firing HIS gun

First time visiting yesterday. Outstanding customer service! Some of the other gun shops in the area could learn a lot about customer service from the staff. I went in to purchase a Liberty Safe and it seemed every employee wanted to make sure that I had exactly what I needed. Truly hard to find service like that these days. As a young African Americans I usually go to the gun range in my home town with no problems so today go this gun range and feel the looks and ask can I rent a gun And told by one person and yes by another and yes I did bring my own then the sign says limit ammo i try to buy a case ammo and I was told no before I went in the range and yes when I came out of the range it crazy how the world is

DO NOT leave your weapons off for them to do work on them! Takes forever. Nice people and will tell you whatever you want to hear to get the business, but the last 2 times Ive dropped off its taken over 3 weeks to get simple work done. When I call to get an update theyre arrogant and are very evasive. Carolina Rod and Gun or Coastal Firearms are much better.

Was visiting Charleston for NYC and I booked a reservation for a tactical lane online; as someone who is new to firearms I found Dan and the rest of the staff to be very helpful. They were very accommodating and walked me through the functions of the gun I wished to shoot. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area or visiting. Thanks guys

If you have a Glock gunsmithing issue, call and see if Cam is available. I came in with some minor issues with a p80 build, Cam took an in depth quick look, took it around back, put some mags through it, and came back to me with a diagnosis within 5 minutes at no cost. Great people here.

I used to be a member of PSA. Recently, I joined C&S and completely different. At PSA, you are only allowed to rapid fire 3x - 🙄They treat you like family and they have the best range dogs- love Bella and Luna. Nancy is the ultimate in customer service! Glad I can here for my first time shooting. Juan served to be an amazing instructor and was very personable. He made me feel confident about holding and shooting a gun. I had a ton of fun here, albeit getting a little out of my comfort zone! I took an awesome lesson with a great teacher and communicator, John. He made me feel extremely comfortable, as he saw I was uneasy at first. We first started out with a 9mm pistol and got aim, technique and most importantly, safety down to a science. Then we upgraded to some really fun to shoot rifles, the highlight being a .308 caliber rifle. Overall great experience, Next time I’m in the Charleston area, there’s no doubt I will be coming back here!!!

Wonderful customer service! My husband and I went for date night and it was my first time shooting. My husband has been to plenty of shooting ranges and said this has been the nicest. All employees were extremely helpful and accommodating. One of the employees gave us a full tour and we were very impressed. Would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be returning.

There every weekend. Super nice staff, and nice clean facility. If youre not am owner but want to be, they have good rentals and are willing to help you make a decision. Theyre very transparent and wont try to cheat you. Bought my first rifle, within my specified price range, and they helped me get started with it.

High-end shooting experience.I started going to C&S since it was near my work. Soon, I was hooked! The place is very clean and the staff couldnt be nicer. The equipment is top notch and aside from some glitches using the simulator, Ive never had a problem with any of it. The members lounge is a nice place to relax and talk, or wait for a friend.For newbies, the staff are very patient and I think they are truly interested in seeing that you have a fun time while teaching you. As a beginner myself, I feel they are not condescending and very approachable with any questions you have. On the range, they are quick to jump in and give pointers, but not too smothering that you feel youre in school taking a test and the teacher thinks youre cheating.I am always happy to take new people with me and even got my wife and kids to go! Its fun to go in a group of friends/family or by yourself to quickly squeeze off a hundred rounds at lunch.

One of my favorite places to shoot in the area. Awesome friendly staff who make me feel welcome every time that I enter their store. I never feel like they are trying to sell me anything and they are very genuine people. Love the local family owned gun shops and this place is nice and clean with a good selection and a really nice quality gun range that is also nice and clean. I usually do not write reviews unless the place is really bad or extremely good. This range is very nice. The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to provide very high quality serive. The facilities are brand new with top of the line equipment and spacious layouts. Seems like the owner is passionate about firearms and has had a dream of owning a top notch gun range. You can see this passion in the attention to detail throughout the store. Large store selection of equipment with the small mom and pop feel. Very military and law enforcement friendly. Great prices.

Firing a gun could not have been further from my list of desires. However, when my friend from out of town urged me to go, we landed on C&S based on its reviews, photos, and a lovely pre-visit phone call with one of their friendly service people. Throughout the afternoon, my entire preconceived view of this culture was flipped upside-down. My instructor was AMAZING and had a keen understanding of my comfort zone and personal learning style. Everyone at the store was professional, helpful, knowledgeable, outgoing, and courteous. Zero intimidation whatsoever! Just passionate people sharing a love for the sport. We had A LOT of fun at C&S and I will most certainly be going back in the near future!

We met with the very professional Jed and the totally gorgeous Nancy for our basic introduction to firearms training on our visit to South Carolina from the UK on eclipse day 2017.What lovely people, we really enjoyed our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Jed introduces us to a variety of hand guns and the rifle and we felt comfortable on confident while under his instruction.Would recommend C&S Shooting to anyone!

I absolutely loved my experience here. Everyone was nice and helpful from the time I first got there until I left. I took the CWP class. SUPER FUN!!!!!! The instructor was hilarious but was serious about his job and took the time to make sure everyone understands the material. Its a long class but you hardly notice be cause you will be enjoying your time there. I WILL BE RETURNING.

Super friendly, safeties are safe but not over-zealous. You can shoot from the holster after they test you and you pay a fee, and they allow you to do reloads if youre being safe.
