The only Pilot in Charleston. The last one on your way to Atlantic ocean. Huge parking lot ( filled with noisy bobtails from local companies, but you can find your parking space. Not easily, but you can ). 4 clean showers. Nice and friendly staff here.Only one suggestion ( I know, I’m a little crazy about it 😂). Can you please install boiled peanuts station? That would be simply amazing 😋And your fax needs to be checked/fixed. I was waiting for 30 min to get ppwk from my dispatcher and finally left empty handed 😞

There would actually be some parking here if it wasnt for all the bobtails and drop trailers.. and the day cabs and guys that pool containers Park in their truck there while theyre not in it..

They played the Star Spangled Banner in the parking lot at 8 oclock in the morning. Oh, and the coffee is brilliant and the restrooms are clean and the staff is entirely too perky for this hour. Give these people your business!

The store is clean well stocked and the employees are very professional and nice. The parking area is ok if you like the sound and smell of semis idling. They take up at least 2 spaces each. It is as you expect.

They have so many dropped trailers, bobtails and moving trucks parked that I couldn’t find a spot at 5pm. They have signs saying no dropped trailers Or bobtails but they aren’t enforcing it. It’s a small enough lot without these problems but I had to park at a grocery store for the night cause I have a delivery right up the street in the A.M. for the food bank.

Pilot is great! You can find anything here. They have a hot food bar with some seriously good food on it. Its always clean and well stocked.

One evening after the job, a coworker said he was going to the Pilot to get the 2 for $5 pizza. It sounded good at the time, cause I didnt bring a lunch and I had been kept alive solely by a vending machine honey bun. We entered the store at the exact moment they brought out a fresh pizza. We got our orders and parted ways. That was the BEST pizza I have EVER eaten! It was so good, I didnt even want to eat it, knowing that soon this experience would be nothing more than a memory. Im so glad I lived to tell about it. I have returned since, and brought new people to this new found religion.

Theres a first for everything I guess. This is the first time I have ever gone to a pilot to get a shower and been asked if I have my own towels because they have none. When asked how long before they would have towels was told maybe an hour but unknown at this time. Its currently 0700. I know it wasnt busy last night. Really wanted a shower before picking up my load.

Best pilot Ive been to so far I got in @ 4am Lucked out and found a spot but it appeared they do not hassle you about parking took a shower the absolute largest cleanest best maintained shower Ive been In the only Shower that the mount for the hand wand still worked The bench was extra wide the sink was wide and the shower was huge They even provided me with an extra chair for use in the shower and extra towels the staff was courteous and kind the food was good a little expensive but good w/lots to choose from I give them a A+

Poor rating is for the Arbys inside. Same female not changing gloves when helping on register dips whole hand in pecan salad, twice to put on bread. Shehad made other sandwiches and picked up pan from floor first as well. Same female put somethong in deep fat fryer and grease went two feet high and overflowed making large mess on floor. They kept working in area which is safety hazaard. 10 min later she has worked on fryer but not touched the floor

In-N-Out service with a hot bar you would think you were at Golden corral, Ryans, or shoneys with the food that they serve its really good !Great management !Arbys franchise with the beef on the side, showers for the truckers on the road, clean restrooms, and respectable staff.

Please fix the constant loitering at this location. Just so you know I likely plan to stop coming here all together due to the loitering, lack of police presence as its a safety concern. It prevents me from going into the store and likely will prevent me from coming back and even paying at the pump in the future. Tired of people asking me for money or to buy something here.

One of the better places ive seen in awhile although it was new it was well worth the stip and shop.Looking forwars to the next visit here.

Theyve got the cleanest showers Ive seen at a pilot or flying j. The store is very clean too. Get here early to get a parking spot, thats the only reason I didnt give 5 starts they need more truck parking

I love it! Absolutely love it! Bathrooms need to be maintained a little more but the place is cleaned! The food is great and the service is spectacular! Its out of this world! I mean I think I just landed in Disneyland and A Waterpark in one! Except I didnt get wet and I didnt see Minnie Mouse!

This is such a nice Pilot to visit. I go to this one often because its by my work so its great having it so close. Not only is it great for people getting gas but its a great place for truck drivers. Here are some key notes:- Gas pumps in the front and diesel in the back.- Inside they have an Arbys (which has a drive thru too), a Cinnabon store and a hot pizza bar and your regular gas station essentials.- There are public bathrooms and have showers available. They announce when showers are available.- They do not have a car wash for.- This gas station is very clean and up to date.

We do not know if Pilot/Flying pay good to the employees or they just lazy to maintain this place clean... Nothing changes, over the years, days...in this places.. the more you visit...this is a TRASH that you see inside the bathrooms. Hopefully, one day they will have better Pilots/Flying Js so we the truck drivers feel clean and fresh....Good Luck, visiting those places....

Big lot easy for backing up and lots of pumps. Store was clean efficient and friendly for the most part. Didnt give it 5 stars cause this is the second time the wifi and Pilot app was messed up. Was told they rebooted twice and didnt know when it was coming up again. I know they arent tech people but a sorry bout that would have gone a long way.

Hey! It was open after 11pm. Thats hard to find during pandemic. They had lots to offer from groceries to fast food. Its nice that they are close. I go so little that Im afraid that I would put them out of business.

I cant say enough good things about the people at the pilot. Theyre helpful friendly considerate. Accommodating knowledgeable and above all non-judgmental. During our time of need they were one of the few places to treat me and my wife like actual human beings instead of like unwanted burdens. Thank you Pilot Employees, we really appreciate everything that you do.

Place looks renovated but for trucks when you pull in the lot its so many ppl cutting traffic through where the trucks park its like parking on a busy street in New York. I swear its 2 way traffic coming through the lot and these ppl have no respect for for the trucks and the business here. I would call the police but to what end!

Large and clean. Even though 3 registers were going, having 1 line and calling for next in line would have flowed smoothly.

Very nice pilot, very clean, with great food options! Unfortunately I take away one star because they dont do anything about the dropped trailers in their small truck parking area, taking up all the spots. This place was packed full at 3pm and never cleared up.

Nice except for the pumps are always out of receipt paper and you have to go inside to get one every time. While waiting for a receipt, the same line to get a receipt is a food line so you have to wait for people to order food just to get a piece of paper that you should have been able to get at the pump. It should be pretty automatic to have an employee check the receipt paper right before high traffic times. Also pretty gross to watch an employee walk from outside smoking and straight behind the counter to serve food without washing hands or gloves just because it looked like the customer had been waiting. Other than that, its pretty clean and always busy.

Being a popular truck stop Pilot is guaranteed to always have hot coffee, and food 24/7. Super selection of grab and go items. Also good retail section with phone accessories and vehicle needs.

Charleston 500 through the parking lot.Truck drivers be safe. Do get run over in the lot. Would hate it if someone sued after being run over.

Employees always ready to help and courteous. Fresh food, bagels, cinnamon buns, chicken biscuits, pizza, for dogs a variety to choose from. A little more expensive than other gas stations but its worth stopping by when traveling long distances especially for truckers.

The staff is always willing to help and the service has always been great. We fill up our trucks here regularly even though this location is always busy because of their willingness to give our drivers great service.

No parking cause its cargo containers dropped in 85% of spots. Nothing to eat available after 8 or 9pm 🤷🏾‍♂️. The employees are cool & its clean but I wouldnt stop for anything unless I really just needed fuel

The store is always clean and the staff are polite. They are quick to open another register when there is a rush. My only complaint is that there are never any items on the roller grill ready at 6:30 am. I have been there 5 times in the last 2 weeks, always around 6:30 - 6:45 and there have never been any items ready to go on the roller grill. They need to start them earlier or make sure that there are more of them.

Cleans showers and good food. Really clean store but parking is very limited. I parked there in reserved parking for a reset waiting on a load to be ready for 2 days and Id say more then half of the trucks parked there are local drivers parking for the night and getting picked up and leaving or someone from a local company would pull out and another driver from that company would be there waiting to take the spot and again get picked up in a car and leave. Makes it harder for over the road guys to fund a spot when local companies are using it as a yard.

Pilots have to be some of the best gas station / rest stops on the highway. They always have the snacks you want, good coffee if you need it, and clean bathrooms and Facilities. Never stop what you do pilot youve been serving me on road trips forever and I love it.

The pilot store itself is clean and tidy with a good selection but the parking lot is extremely dangerous. In less then half a day I watched a few hundred cars fly through the truck parking to cut out an intersection. Theyre going 20-30 with no regards to the trucks maneuvering and backing. A driver is going to get hit and killed by one of these cars flying though or a car is going to get hit by a driver backing in when it darts behind him. The employees dont appear to care either

Best truck stop we have been in yet by far. Very clean ... organized parking...could use another 100 spots....showers were HUGE and clean... everyone was extremely friendly... would DEFINITELY stop again 👍

Staff was friendly, the place looked clean. The area around the business has an unpleasant smell but that isnt their fault. Inside they have a few small restaurants and their own small selection of pizza and dinner type foods. Looks like a good option for long haul drivers to get a decent meal. Weighing fees are 11.50 for a first weight but i think that is standard for CAT scales.

Coworker have nasty attitude, food was hard, cinnabon was not fresh and lemonade taste like favor water.Ask someone for help they give you attitudeI want here in the evening time

Stopped here to shower wasnt expecting such wonderful service and accommodation. I highly recommend this place. They got private showers for $12,a well kept laundry facility that cost $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry. Theres also a spectacular selection of food.

The most energetic woman answered my call and when I got there there was another woman just like her. Gigi and Barbara, two southern ladies who really enjoy their jobs and do more than just check you out. They enjoy their jobs and helping people. The food is good, the service is excellent, and I had a great morning because of those two. Thank you for the start to a great morning!

Nice facility, clean and very nice staff. Energetic, helpful and engaging. I didnt get his name, but the cashier had me smiling after a long day in the road. I do wish there was a better parking layout here though, seems like quite a bit of empty asphalt. More drivers could patronize the place and get their rest, if they had more parking slots laid out.

I was just here for weight tickets. They already knew what to do and had it ready quickly. The pumps are far apart so you have enough space if youre towing. The store itself seemed well stocked. Its just a good gas station.

There is this guy that works here named Ontario. He is kind and polite so much that you would think he is Canadian. :)I dont get into peoples past but he is a hard working person and very respectful. Very clean, nice people and the bathrooms clean nicely... Well maintained. Selection of drinks in coolers stocked with nice variety and with plenty there. Cinnibon lady stepped up when other registers started to get busy, and they werent even that busy... Just did good job of being proactive! And ALMOST got me to buy a roll, just couldnt find the low carb version ha ha.

It seems like a good place to stop for a meal they have a nice selection of prepackaged salads, fried and other comfort foods so it seems like it will satisfy most of what you have a taste for.Parking always seems to be full so if you need a place to park for the night to wait for your delivery time better get there before 1700. And if you need a place to park after delivering late at night better look for some other place.But the fuel prices at the time I was in the are seem to about 5¢ lower that most other places coming down to Charleston.

Over the road driver and I can definitely say this looks like an accident scene bound to happen when cars want to swerve in an out behind you while backing into a parking spot Suggestions: adding speed bumps to slow down traffic, security on regulating through traffic. Definitely this is just too much going on just for some truck drivers. Everyone is in a rush to get to the next red lightInside is definitely clean, well maintained, and a variety of selections to pick inside. The place seems to busy for that original customer service but I understand its a Pilot Express that wants to cater to the general public.

More like a huge convenience store than a fuel stop. Cant get in and out in a timely manner. Seems Pilot forgot where their roots are and who spends the most money in their stores

Very small Parking Lot for Truck Trailer about 50 spaces of parking five stars for the clean showers and Arbys potatoe cakes are very GOOD. If need to park might want to reserve a prime parking

I love Pilot Travel Centers. Trucking with hubby and have found that I like most of the Pilots Ive been to. From the east coast to the west coast, Ive always had a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and the bathroom and showers are very clean. Just wish they offered higher points and more offers for those points.

Listen I gotta say these people here are the laziest in keeping the outside clean, the whole parking lot smells like piss. I will do a YouTube video although you can’t capture the smell you will see they have little regard for the parking lot. (2) The Homeless seem to camp here all the FN time, there is no security whatsoever and that will be another video!

Im giving it a one-star and the reason why Im only giving them one star as their attitude towards handicapped drivers, to whom need a handicap shower!Such as myself.Im a combat disabled veteran and I must be able to sit while I am showering.None of the four handicap showers have any way to sit.Thereforeit is dangerous for handicapped drivers to go and take a shower here at the Pilot in north Charleston South Carolina!Thats right it is dangerous.Everything is good the wands all work fine but they will not give seats to us to sit with.Im calling my Paralyzed veterans of America and let them call WDC to force Pilot to.install The Benches that most Pilots utilize that hug the wall when a non disabled driver uses the top showerhead.The wands should be at the bottom of the slider for easy access.Not at the top of the slider.Its far easier for the driver to pick up the one from the bottom of the slider than the disabled driver common sense how can a disabled person reach the top of the slider!Aggravates me the way pilot doesnt think.and then the attitude of the employees to laugh at off is disgraceful!

This place is a gas station on steroids. They have tons of merchandise that you can buy and they have a lot of food that you can buy as well. I stopped to get some gas and I grabbed a slice of pizza, which was awesome. You dont see good food in the gas station. They have a Auntie Annes pretzel shop inside as well which is kind of neat, and also an Arbys. I did notice they have showers for the truckers and lots of equipment that they can use as far as merchandise. I come here every so often and I grab a slice of pizza. Would recommend.

Please start cleaning the womens restroom. The feminine hygiene receptacles are full and are overflowing onto the floor. The dining area also needs cleaned, and the garbage cans need emptied more frequently.

Surprisingly good food for a truck stop. Very clean with a little bit of everything there. Some items can be pricey but thats the price you pay for convenience so it balances out.

Nice truck stop very clean facilities had every thing I needed

My family of 5 stopped here our last day on vacation after we went to the beach so we could wash the kids and ourselfs off so We could be comfy for our drive home which is 11 hours away and it was so nice and super clean I was very impressed with how clean and nice it was. The private showers are very big and have a pull down shower hose attached which made is so much easier to wash the kids the shower room also has a toilet, sink and bench they are also cleaned after each use and they give you a clean towel washcloth and floor towel which actually smelled good and were very nice. Everyone was nice and polite. They also have a ton to eat. There is something for everyone. Whether you need a shower, something to eat or gas deff a great stop. They also have washers and dryers.

I come here almost every morning for coffee.The staff is very friendly. They remember returning customers and i always feel welcomed.10 month edit: still love getting my coffee here...sometimes. Apparently there is only 1 employee able to keep the coffee center stocked and clean and thats GiGi. If you go to get coffee when she is not there good luck because coffee is empty, no creamers, no pastries. They ought to train more people to be like her.

Great place to get fuel and any other needed items! It is a new facilitiy, and is quite spacious and well-stocked. They have a great selection of coffee, soda, icy beverages, and a made-to-order sandwiches. I also appreciate their certified scale and how easy it was to get weight tickets for a move taken care of!

Counter clerk was rude! I had been cleaning my grill with my power washer and my clothes were wet, dirty, and muddy. Asked if I could get some Black & Mild cigars? He made a sarcastic reply stating that I could get anything if I had the money.My items came to $6.64 and paid him $7.00 and instead of 36¢ he handed me 16¢ He didnt apologize an again made a repugnant response about not being his error.The Pilot is expensive and staff is not helpful! I will try my best to not go there again!
