I have never had so many issues filling a prescription in my life. First, there was an issue with my date of birth being wrong which never got updated after they said it would. Then my name and address werent updated and no one cared to even ask which caused even more issues the next time I went. Despite me pointing out that I no longer live in another state, no one fixed it. I was told twice to come back and call my insurance to figure out issues that only exist within CVS internal system. This most recent time, I went down to CVS twice, waited 45 minutes, called my insurance who said everything is accurate and the prescription would be covered. I spent all day calling to follow up with Emily at CVS who couldnt figure out she was entering the wrong ID number into her system which was causing the issue. Every time I called, I waited for 20 minutes just to get my call answered and then was placed on hold again and again. Only when I pulled a Karen and asked to speak with a manager did she finally ask her manager for help and get the internal problem resolved (she was entering the first 3 letters of the member ID which was causing the issue). In addition their drive-through is never open and has a handwritten note to go inside. What a complete waste of time, I will not go back. I am posting this in an effort to save others the hassle I went through.
I have been going to this location over 8 years and never had a problem they just need to hire more people to work and every department including the pharmacy they need help but keep up the good work
I have yet to have a positive experience at this CVS, and Ive given them many, many chances, specifically the Pharmacy. I understand the entire world is understaffed at the moment, but there seems to be no correlation between what their online systems say and what the reality is.Scheduled a COVID test today, and was greeted by a closed drive-thru with a handwritten no testing supplies sign. Why not remove the option to make appointments or call people to inform them instead of making them waste a trip? I got literally 7 texts about my appointment, surely one of them could have been that testing was no longer available?Phoned in a prescription and went to pick up a day after it was supposed to be ready, only to be told they never received my refill request because its a controlled substance. So why does the phone system allow me to request it and give me a pickup time? This location has become like the DMV - I just KNOW every time I go, Im not going to come out with what I need but I will come out with my blood pressure through the roof. Its infuriating because there are no good alternatives that Im aware of in Park Circle.
CVS on East Montague Avenue in North Charleston is a well managed CVS location that is very convenient and easy to access when you are in the area and need some basic items. The store is well organized and I have been able to find exactly what I was looking for each time I have shopped here. The staff here is very helpful when you need their assistance.
Do NOT get tested there. Two and a half hours in line with ONLY FOUR cars ahead of me. Yep I had an appt. Horrible
I had to send money bwo MoneyGram and they actually have a kiosk that you get all the information setup for your transaction. Then you go to the register and complete the transaction. My only complaint is they only accept cash for their MoneyGram services. But of course they have an atm right beside the MoneyGram kiosk waiting to charge you a $3 fee.... How convenient right.
So my experience on today was the worst with the pharmacy! Tempest Magwood, especially was the worst associate ever. I’ve never been so angry and frustrated in my life and that girl is the worst. She really needs to develop a better attitude because had it not been for my son, I probably would have lost my cool. I will find another pharmacy hopefully 100 times better than this one
This is the story of a man without toilet paper. It was a hot sunny day. No toilet paper in sight. He had been searching, searching all day for the precious drapery for the porcelain chair and yet there was none to be found. All day he searched looking far and wide, neighborhood after neighborhood in the midst of a pandemic. After ten stores he lost hope. There was no toilet paper to be found. After a full day of rejection he stumble into this CVS. Exasperated he asked “ do you have any toilet paper left?” And the nice lady behind the counter let go of a smile and gave an affirming nod “if you’re not too picky, I have one left”. How can I thank you enough? In a world of hoarding I stupidly thought I would be fine waiting until I was on my last roll. I was wrong. But this beautiful CVS proved to me that there’s still hope in this world. And I will forever be grateful.
The pharmacy is great!
I get greated and they ask me if I need help when I go shopping there. I find the people who work there nice enough.
Hung up on me on the phone
At store on Remount road.... in N Charleston SC.....it is sad when you come to a pharmacy seeking help the pharmacy team h that assisted me when I first came in I stood at drop off area she said yes I said my dr sent prescriptions over she looked up and said sorry we just got theses it will take 30 min or do u want to come back what in a terrible manner ....then i said ok Ill wait when finally picking order up she said youll have to go to this CvS to get rest of prescription wasnt pleasant or helpful took me over 2 hrs too get medicine and Tiffang was very unpleasant due to circumstances of come from being diagnosed with a condition is hard enough without a pharmacy associate being unpleasant
Customer service is horrible. The cashiers arent friendly and dont acknowledge customers when they enter the store. Dont bother asking them questions, theyll look at you stupid and half answer the question. The pharmacy isnt any better. The store is full of ignorant workers. The whole staff needs to be fired. The review thats below me, Youll say the staff is friendly because you are the store Manager. Come on now. Be honest.
I live in Texas and my brother lives in N. Charleston, SC. I needed information on how to set up the new pharmacy delivery system on line and was given not given any assistance. I was repeatedly told rudely, to down load the app. My brother is blind and the app would be on no assistance to him. I explained this to them. I had spoke with her earlier, but she had left for the day. I was told to call back on Friday when Shannon is back at work. I told the woman I was speaking to that my brother needed his medication. She placed me on hold and didnt returned. The CVS Killeen, TX was willing to assist me if necessary and transfer the prescriptions to SC.
We absolutely love *shopping* at this CVS. The sales associates are the most friendly and helpful Ive encountered anywhere. Today it was raining, and one of the employees was walking customers to their cars with his umbrella (thanks, Michael!). I agree with other reviews, though, that the actual pharmacists—on the other hand—are not as friendly or accommodating as the other staff. However, they always fill our prescriptions in a timely manner, and weve never had any actual problems.
Nikki was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.
The worst CVS ever, I was put on hold for 20 minutes, and the pharmacist was no help.
Having moved from Mount Pleasant where I was a frequent CVS shopper my guess is this location has illegal and predatory inner-city pricing. While I have not price compared each item, $13 for Melatonin (sold at $3.29 at Food Lion) and $1.77 for a gallon on off-brand water seem out of line. I hope someone will report them for investigation/
James in pharmacy is so nice and pleasant, he really values his customers,
Ive used this pharmacy for years, and they are always professional and helpful. They have been much busier in the last year or two, which I expect makes some customer service more difficult, but I truly havent had problems with them. Love Robin and Terry!!
I called to place a prescription for a client and was asked by a worker in the pharmacy if I could just leave a message. Per company policy we like to actually speak to someone to ensure accuracy. She then very rudely told me that it would be five minutes and immediately put me on hold without waiting for my response. I called back approximately ten minutes later and spoke with (Nikki) a woman in the pharmacy, not sure if it was the same worker as the first worker mumbled her name, but this woman was just as rude. She rudely asked me what the prescription was and for the information and then without and goodbye or thank you, hung up the phone. I will not recommend any of my clients to go to this pharmacy again if this is the way they are going to be greeted/ treated when they get there.
I have been blown away by the unbelievably consistent and excellent customer service at this CVS! I live about a mile away, so I frequently stop by to withdraw money from the ATM or pick up odds and ends that we need at home (medicine, milk, etc.).Over the years Ive had a few strange requests/circumstances, and they have always gone above and beyond to help me out. For example:(1) A couple years ago when I was going to buy something on Craigslist, I withdrew some cash from the ATM then promptly dropped my wallet in the parking lot by mistake. I was on James Island before I realized my wallet was missing. Thankfully someone had turned it in to customer service, and the cashier on duty called every phone number in my wallet trying to get it back to me (home, work, mobile, etc.) - I had multiple voicemails that night! When I went to pick up my wallet later that same night, they had it locked up in their safe, and not a dollar was missing.(2) Just last night, I needed to get $60 in one dollar bills to help put on a ride transit to lunch event at work tomorrow. Since I do online banking, I dont have a local bank I can go ask for change. I expected CVS to *maybe* give me $10 or $15 in ones. Instead, when I explained what I needed, the cashier walked to the back room and reappeared with a full $60 in ones. Only because I know I need to go to the bank tomorrow to get change, she said. I could not have been more thankful! :) Talk about great customer service!(3) Ok so this isnt a personal experience since I dont smoke, but I wholeheartedly support the fact that CVS no longer sells tobacco products, and only sells smoking-cessation aids instead. Go CVS! Keep up the great work!Weve also had great experiences with the pharmacists patiently answering questions and making sure we understand everything.I dont know what the management is doing at this location, but theyre doing something right. Staff turnover seems very low (lots of familiar long-term faces), and their service is top-notch. Thank you, CVS! :)
Went here just to grab some candy before work. stood at the counter two minutes no employee ever came up or walked by. so places my pack of blue marshmallow peeps on the counter and left. I really wanted those peeps😠😠
Tempie as we have chosen to nickname because her name is so beautifully unique, was an absolute blessing to me! I get severe UTIs and made it to the pharmacy at 9 to see them closing the windows. I was devistated and almost cried at the thought of bearing with the pain. She wasnt sure if my prescription was ready or not and tried to assist me in finding some over-the-counter medicine. Once she asked if my prescription was ready and I explained to her that I had called it in just a few hours ago, she checked the system and found that they were and accepted my payment. She didnt have to do that and she could have easily just went home. I know she had to have been tired. Theyre on their feet all day trying to shuffle around and keep everyone on track and make sure everyone has what they need and she took time to take me as her last customer. Tempie, thank you so much and I hope God finds you a blessing soon! Thank you for looking out for me! You have no idea how much it means!
Slow pharmacy. Pack a lunch. Prepare to be frustrated.
Scripts are never ready and all the young girls working there are clueless.
Been getting my medicine from here for ten years..thumbs up
Ive had good and bad experiences here but the worst thing is as soon as you walk in you are hit with a smell that is awful. It smells like urine and another bad smell I cant figure out combined. All of the CVS stores need to rip the carpet up and do some things to brighten up the place.
Ive been using CVS pharmacy for a long time but this one is terrible. The pharmacy service is poor at best. The workers are often rude and they frequently mess up my prescriptions. I suppose I will be changing my pharmacy.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
By far the absolute WORST pharmacy ever!! Had a prescription called in AND faxed in twice within 5 days.....they say they still havent received it! Dont waste your time or money at this location. They dont even deserve a 1 star.
Great Pharmacy workers! They are overworked, but professional. Hats off to them.
Exceptional customer service. Walked me across the store to the product I was looking for
Worst pharmacy ever.....there is always a problem when I go to pick up...either wrong meds or wrong count on meds....seems like no one knows what they are doing....I am currently in drive through and the lady just stopped getting my prescription and started helping people at the counter....this is also the same lady who left me on hold for over 20 mins when I called to check on prescription
Love it nice workers in front and beautiful
Worst place to work at. The manager is crappie.
Rude worker
Beacuae it be messing up your medicines
I sin the deal
