The store clerk was pleasant and helpful. The merchandise selection is vast. The vibe was good. I went for 1 thing and brought 4. It was a wonderful experience everytime I go. Unique items you can not get anywhere else.

This place is a true gem. The people are so willing to help and give you a little knowledge on the history of the Gullah culture. The apparel is absolutely gorgeous! What I assumed would be a couple minutes of shopping turned into an hour of being in awe. Awesome find!

I love this store. I went there to purchase some herbal tea blends for anxiety. I was taught the proper use of it before purchasing. Kristen was very good at informing me of the different natural blends used and even gave me tea bags with my purchase. I will definately be back. Very authentic.

Amazing authentic Gullah/African items to choose from. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the culture. I will recommend my family and friends to visit Gullah Roots, when they come to Charleston.
