I went in to get some items for a friends birthday and asked if they had a sash because none where in the shelf. They told me they didn’t have time to see. There were only three people in the store, counting my wife and I. May be my last time going to this store. Seems their always clearing shelves. Two isles where completely empty and the store is continuously in disarray.

They will make it happen. We praying for manager. Get better

My sister and I are putting some baskets together. My main purpose for coming in, was to find some particular hard candies that I thought they carried. I wasnt able to find them, but the store was a pleasant experience none the less.

Normally I go to another store, but they didnt have the dragon balloon my child wanted (last minute change from dinosaurs). I called several stores a day ahead looking for a balloon. We found them at the NC store where unbeknownst to me the manager pulled the balloons my daughter wanted for her birthday and had them sitting on the side for us the next day. When I went to leave the dragon snapped off the string where it was tied and floated away. The cashier saw it, didnt wait, and was looking for a replacement when I walked back in. Their fast and friendly service are worth the extra drive.

The job ultimately got done but I did a lot of it myself. Party city blew up the balloons. They didnt do the service they advertised, they didnt have the products they said. I made my own gender reveal balloon. I went there to get a bouquet delivered as 2 employees said I could, but when I got there, they said I could only do the delivery online. I spent a long time there trying to figure everything out. Diamond was the only one trying to help figure things out when they couldnt accommodate. We got a discount because of how much we went through. They need to communicate their actual services better.

Ok place. Some areas where pretty messy.. Plenty of employees they just werent doing anything. Womens bathroom had no toilet paper and that was right after an employee came out!

Party City Manager Valerie was helpful with my balloon order. This was my 1st time there, she explained the process and shared that I may not want to ride around with the balloons in the car if I still had other errands to run. They held my items at the counter for me until I returned. However, I found out after returning that I could have paid for the ballons upfront so they could start working on my order. I couldve saved time if that part was added. Overall, a nice, the ballon design was done with care and attention. The staff was very helpful. If I have a need for balloons in the future, Id return.

I visited Party City off Rivers Avenue in North Charleston......It was not that busy and with the amount of employees, there was no reason it shouldve taken 35 min for 5 balloons. The young ladies were laughing and playing instead of blowing up balloons. I didnt have a problem with enjoying work but they could have been more productive. However when the supervisor was playing with items in the store instead of helping fill orders...I guess that is the normal. With 2 supervisors and a store manager it should have ran more smoothly.

The customer service was wonderful from everyone! I visited the store on Fathers Day to purchase balloons for my Beloved Brother. They were very busy, but extremely kind. The lady at the first register was fairly brand new, but she was wonderful! The gentleman who created my balloon bouquet was just as wonderful! Go to Party City across from the Northwoods Mall because they exceed expectations!

Party City in North Charleston is one of my favorite places to go for all things party and event planning as well as for costumes even when it is not Halloween. They are also a really good resource for balloon and other floatable helium product if you are in need of them. The location is very convenient to get to from the interstate and I have always been able to find exactly what I was looking for here.The staff here is very knowledgeable and patient when you have a list of items that you need to purchase. I have had a lot of good experiences shopping here and they have come through for me each time.

They have everything for any type of party!!! They blow balloons up for $1.99 if you bought them from another store or Amazon!

I am very disappointed with their service. I placed an order, they charged my card, realized they didnt have the item then cancelled the order and didnt process the refund. Now I am to drive 20 minutes to go there to handle it. The manager said call customer service because the only thing I can do is say this was unfortunate! Their error should not be an inconvenience to me.

I have no complaints about this establishment they treat me very well when I go there

Not a great selection of items. It look more like they are going out of business. Prices on most items, I found cheaper at Wal-Mart. Hope the fixed the water leaks dripping from the ceiling. Hazardous, for a place call party city it needs a makeover and more selection of items.

Always a pleasant experience. Went in there 10 min before closing and staff was still happy tpo help us search for what we needed. Didnt rush us and was pleasant. Hated to do it but their customer service was excellent!

This place is HUGE! They have so many things in here! You can get almost any costume you can think of, or any birthday party items you need! I will say some items are cheaper at Wal-Mart/Dollar Tree like the cups, silverware, napkins, etc. But this place is perfect for everything else! 5 Stars for sure!

They were out of every costume my son liked. Then one they finally had was missing pieces from it. The kid helping us was friendly and did apologize but there should be labels for what they do and dont have.

I used to work here back in 2012-2015 and all I have to say is ugh. When I worked there, we always kept it clean and organized and we would greet every person at the door and also ask customers if they needed assistance.Fast forward to today’s experience. As I came inside to buy a few items for a party... no one greeted me when I walked in. I always thought employees were supposed to say Welcome to Party City every time someone came in.Looking around the store.... it was very unorganized. The items on shelves were very messy and needed recovery asap. The candy aisle was decent but most of all the aisles were a mess. I thought to myself.. wow... it has gone down hill since I left.The cashier was nice Atleast. But did not ask for an email address or phone number which back in the day when I worked there was mandatory. Before we checked out, there was a heavy set guy on the floor and he walked right passed us without acknowledgement.Work on cleaning the store. Work on customer service. These things are very easy to train people on as I worked there for 3 years. I almost want to apply to be an associate just so I can turn the store around like how it used to be.

Im super mad. I went in for a return. Thanks to Hurricane Matthew the top of the package(cardboard) was damp but the product itself was completely fine. The worker didnt even try to give me my money back. Gave me stupid store credit. I want my money back! In cash! He made it a return with no receipt but I had it right in front of him. All because the receipt was faded. You could still see it. He was like I could manually type it in but Im missing one number. he didnt try. I will never shop here again. Ill go to the Halloween shop instead.

Store was a wreck, this store needs major help it has looked like this for weeks. They have vary little inventory. Departments are almost bare so good luck finding what you need i hope corprate steps in to correct this cause this store it a straight up mess and employee are barley trained to run a register.

Edited: I have visited twice more recently and the store is like night and day different. Its clean and organized. I could actually find what I was looking for. Kudos to all the hard work with getting the store back in great shape!Old review : The store is trashed and there are boxes of stuff everywhere. Ive always loved party city, but this one didnt carry a lot of products that you would think a party store should. I ended up at several different places just trying to find what I needed! A lot of empty shelves, too. Super disappointing.

A party store for the young and the older. Tons of different themes to choose from or just solids if thats what you need. They have tons of costumes for Halloween. Not just for Halloween though. They have other costumes like for Thanksgiving and Christmas also. They have tons of balloons to choose from for multiple occasions. They have a candy isle to hel help with those birthday bags and candy bars. Definitely your one stop party shop.

I went to Party City to if they had any 4th of July decorations. They had a fair amount of things left considering the holiday was only a few days away. I walked around the entire store and not one person acknowledged my presence. I dont know how many sales people where there. I saw one person in the back of the store, but he never said anything. If I am going to spend my money in a store, I would at least hoped that someone would say hello, let me know if I can help you. I left the store without purchasing anything. I went to Hobby Lobby where I was greated appropriately and asked if I needed help. I found exactly what I needed there.

I went there yesterday around 1pm and the first thing I asked was Are you guys going out of business? The walls and most of the aisles were empty and in desperate need of a restock. The cashier was very reluctant to help me find what I was looking for. She said, Whatever you see there is what we have. I dont know whats going on with that place but I wont be going back there. Poor inventory and customer service!

Its currently 10:04 am the store opened at 9:30am and we are standing outside waiting for whoever has a key to open the store. even an employee is waiting to get in as she doesnt have a key. this is ridiculous.

The stores organization and selection is great! A tad expensive for party accessories. There is certanly a lack of help on the retail floor and long checkout process, but they do have what you need, now you must look down every aisle to find it!

Good staff and of course they have a wide selection of tons of stuff there. It was wonderful we even had a gal climb this massive ladder to search half an isle for the cups we wanted.

Rude staff. My friend went in last night looking for a specific color in the chocolate sixlets for her WEDDING and the girl at the counter snubbed her after she asked her if there was a way for it to be ordered saying the special order machine is over there. with a wave of her hand and exasperated sigh like we were bothering her. Um, ok, we work retail so we understand approaching people politely which my friend did, but this girl was beyond unprofessional. If you didnt want to be working by yourself then thats not our fault, we put our stuff back and left. People like this are why everyone is buying online these days.

Cancelled my online order, for a product showing as in stock for customer collection. Their reason, they want two weeks notice as product was in a box. First time customer, now last time customer.

OMGGGG. I cannot explain the happiness that I felt when I came in and left. The whole staff was very attentive and DOWN to earth!!!!!!!!!! The ladies that blew up the balloons for me were soooooo AWESOME and soooooo SWEET!!!! Bailey and Angel!!!!!!!! If I could give more stars, I sooooo would!!!!!! How they made me feel is priceless. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I came in on 05/27/16 at around 2:30 to get a few things for my daughters first birthday party. Among those things was a pack of balloons only containing 5 small foil balloons. I requested to have them blown up upon checking out, and the cashier then called out to the ladies in the corner by the balloons if they could do so. To which, one replied with an attitude, Uh. No. Maybe in like 30 minutes, and then went on with her loud conversation regarding the schedule. The cashier then asked if I would mind waiting 30 minutes. I felt so disrespected as a customer that I refused and left.

My first time in a Party City store and out of a lot of party stock they had what I required, two water guns. With my two great grandchildren we them to urgent use in the pool

Neither were knowledgeable about ANYTHING and only talked about waiting for their breaks, apparently after working only 3 hours at that point. I will NEVER shop at any Party City again. EVERY Charleston location is horrible, but after waiting in line for 20 minutes, it was the last straw. Over priced, and the lack of customer service is horrendous.

Ive been here over 25 minutes waiting for balloons. One girl is working by herself and a guy is just walking around doing absolutely nothing. For some reason, the gurl seems to think its ok to keep ringing up people who got in line after me.
