Amazing experience. Generally, I dislike the process of buying a car as it is very tedious and quite a large investment. However, the sales rep, Ashley, made the entire process extremely pleasant and swift.I have owned multiple cars in the past, and never have I had such a quick and enjoyable experience. Ashley was very helpful, informative and picked out a car which would suite me daily needs. Initially, I did not have an intention to make a purchase, but after looking at the car and test driving it, I was sold.In todays day and age it is easy to order a car online or have it delivered in a few clicks. It is the enjoyable experience that makes me purchase from a brick and mortar store. Ashley definitely convinced me to seal the deal at Marhofer. I have already put over a thousand miles on my car since buying it and I have 0 regrets on my purchase.If you decide to buy from Marhofer, I recommend asking for Ashley!

I have been looking to trade in my vehicle for a while and last Friday I decided to go back to Ron Marhofer GMC in North Canton to do so. My first buying experience was so positive and no pressure that I decided not to take a chance going anywhere else. My salesman Mike was great. He is very helpful and professional. He and the credit manager worked with me with patience, as I had no clue what I really wanted in my next car. They offered me many options and ultimately I chose the 2021 Buick Encore. I would highly recommend Ron Marhofer to all my friends and family. The staff absolutely takes care of their customers. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Such a great and positive experience with this dealership (this was my first NEW car buying experience, first time with this dealership). I came in on a whim to see what they could do for me and they did it. The process was quick, smooth, and helpful (the way it should be). Catrina was great to work with and is what made the entire experience so seamless for me. She was super helpful in the process and a great person to just banter with during the process too. Charlie in the finance department was extremely helpful as well and broke down everything in a way for me to understand. As a young woman, going to a dealership and the car buying process can be a little intimidating, but it wasnt here, and would recommend them to anyone! I would definitely recommend Ron Marhofer Buick GMC dealership in Canton Ohio if you are looking for a new or used vehicle. I felt appreciated as a customer, and everyone was extremely courteous and helpful. My salesman, Jim Watt was very patient and knowledgeable, not pushy or hurried at all. He answered all of my questions thoroughly. I came in for a used 2020 Ram pick up and it was spotlessly clean and ready to go when I got there. Was able to get in the next business day to evaluate my concerns. While they had to order a part, they kept me in the loop as soon as they one more, made sure I had a ride home, and made the entire experience positive. Also, working with Trent was was a great experience. While they werent able to duplicate done of the issues I recorded, he made sure I felt comfortable with where we were and my ability to call back and have them reevaluate at any time.

We were looking for a Ford Flex. They stopped making them in 2019. We found our car online and called Ron Marhofer, Duke replied quickly, answered all my questions, and worked with our schedule. He listened to what I had to say, did not try to up-sell me anything. He was very knowledgeable, about what he was doing and won my husband over!! (This was not an easy task) We would strongly recommend Duke for you automobile needs. Thank you Duke for being so AWESOME!! About 4 weeks later, We had a problem with timing on our temporary tags. Duke helped us find a solution quickly and again was so very helpful!! We really appreciate the time and care he puts into his customers!! It is worth the 90 minute drive to get service!! I just purchased a used Accord here, and overall had a really great experience. I worked with Alex, who was very friendly and not pushy at all. They were willing to work with me to get me exactly what I needed on my trade-in and financing rate, as well as to fix a minor cosmetic issue that was bothering me about the car. Everyone was very friendly and easygoing. They even had a free foodtruck for customers on the day I bought my car.

I have never written a review before but had to share my experience with Ron Marhofer Buick GMC. I cant say enough about their honesty, integrity and great service!I found an excellent, below market deal on a used car website. The same car was listed on other sites (including Ron Marhofers own) for several thousand dollars higher. When I called to inquire, I was informed that the lower price I found was an error, BUT they agreed to honor it. The deal was so good, I flew in from NJ to purchase the car. Not only did they stand behind their promise, they even sent a driver to pick me up at the airport over an hour away!!! Upon arriving at the dealership, the treatment I received was first class. All of the paperwork was prepared ahead of time. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They even had a food truck in the parking lot serving free Mexican food to customers. Big shout out to Tryston in sales and his manager, Kyle. They were awesome to work with!!! Love the car. Highly recommend the dealership.

I was offered a fair price for my 50th Aniversery Camero, so I sold it to them. I then talked with John the salesman (good guy and helpful) He tried to find me a truck as I considered trading in my Silverado 2500. They offered a fair price. Just couldnt find me a new truck to replace it. Had to go to another dealership that had one. BUT I would return here for future purchases and service.

Excellent experience with Ron Marhofer Buick GMC dealership and the team there buying a pre-owned vehicle. Jim Watt from the sales team was great to work with - from getting initial information over the phone, confirming the vehicle availability the night before I could come in, scheduling an appointment and everything else through driving away!Jim was transparent about all aspects of the vehicle and was quick to resolve or offer resolutions to any items that were not up to a high standard. He was quick to assist with explaining vehicle features and settings to ensure I was comfortable with everything.I would recommend buying from this dealership and would buy from them again (even though I am out of state and traveled a long distance)! Best car buying experience Ive had, which is saying a lot since I live 4 hours away. The team stayed in communication throughout each step of the process -- from showing the car, sending a full cost estimate, financing and payment (including all the paperwork), and delivery. Jim even responded to my questions on his day off.They delivered the vehicle (even called to say they were running late due to traffic), allowed us to test-drive before signing the paperwork, and made it so painless.I really appreciated that if someone said they were going to do something, they did it, kept me informed throughout, and followed up as promised. Communication was extremely poor. I dropped off my car and on the first day nothing was done. I brought my car back and it took 4 days to fix a radio antenna. There was no communication after day one. On day 2 I was told that the part had been ordered, why wasn’t it ordered on day 1?I received a voicemail informing me that the car would stay another day b/c the antenna needed painted. On the following day I asked for an updated late into the afternoon and I was told that a voicemail was left for me the night before. However no update on the car until evening.I understand that there is a part shortage but it was never communicated with me that it could take multiple days for my car to be fixed.

Wow. Ive bought a few cars in my life and have seen the good and the bad. This place was by far the best car buying experience Ive ever seen! My girlfriend purchased a solid vehicle and the salesman Jay was fantastic to work with. They were pretty busy but were able to help get us in and out quickly!!! Chase in financing was super professional, easy to work with and had us on the road in a matter of minutes! I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT A 2021 YUKON XL DENALI FROM NEARLY 400 MILES AWAY. THE STAFF WAS EXCEPTIONAL TO WORK WITH AND HAD THE DEAL DONE VIA PHONE AND EMAIL. I DROVE UP THE NEXT DAY AND ALL THE PAPERWORK WAS READY AS WELL AS THE NEW YUKON. This was for service to a vehicle we thought was under warranty.I called and scheduled an appointment, explaining what needed to be looked at. I was never told there would be a diagnostic charge. I dropped the vehicle off had to explain some of the issues again because they didnt take good notes. Again was not told about any diagnostic charges. When they sent the estimate for work, it wasnt clear to me what they were fixing or charging. So I called. They explained that the car was out of warranty, so we opted out of fixing the back up camera. I asked so the total for the work is going to be $130 he said yes. I said go ahead and do the work then. When I came to pick the car up the total was suddenly $276.23. I asked about it and said, you told me on the phone $130 was the cost. Then he says, well yeah but we also had to charge $130 for the diagnostics. This very much felt like a bait and switch and I am considering calling the BBB to file a complaint. These charges should have been disclosed when setting the appointment. Not after it is already done. I will never bring my vehicle back for service and I will advise others to stear clear as well.

Set an appointment to install part on car that was damaged before delivery. Was told part was in stock before setting appointment. Drove almost 2 hours to get there and then told part was NOT in stock. They provided a loaner car for us to drive back home and ordered the part for overnight delivery. The part was installed the next day and they brought my car to my house and exchanged it for the loaner. I was glad they did this because I wasnt wanting to make another 2 hour trip to get a part put on and then 2 hours back home. They screwed up but ended up making it RIGHT!!

My husband and I bought a 2016 Chevy Malibu with 58000 miles here 7 weeks ago. Found out today it needs an engine. We bought extended warranty when We bought the car (thank heavens) but they will only cover $200 of a rental car. Im being told I will be without My car for 2 to 3 weeks. Rental car is $325 a week so Ill end up having to pay a lot of money for a rental by the end of this. I called Michael Turner, the salesman that helped us with the buying process, And they are going to cover the cost of my rental car. I really appreciate Michael understanding our situation and standing behind the car that we bought.

Dropped my car off to the service center with an audio issue. It needed a simple software update. Cadillac had issued a technical service bulletin specifically for this issue to update the software. The tech was unable to get the update to take after one attempt. While in the store I was told the amp failed bench testing, but when I questioned this via email I was told it did not fail bench testing but it was an issue with the software. The software was supposed to have been updated but since the tech was incapable of getting the update to take they gave up and told me i needed to spend 600$ on a new amp. I suggest taking your vehicle to a different service center OR maybe Marhoffer can hire a Customer Relations Manager that actually understands the services he is selling to someone. I was still charged half for the service even though they were unable to complete it. The part that is upsetting me the most is that they lied to me and tried to upswell me a 600$ after my bill was already pushing 1k. Good luck and hopefully they treat their other customers better than they did me.

Took my car in because the a/c only blew hot air. They gave me an estimate of $1800 to fix it and a carbon build up that made the check engine light stay on. Then they call back and tell me it’s now going to cost more to fix because the wiring is wrong. So I said no because I can’t afford it. They told me to pick it up. Now I have absolutely no power to the a/c or heat and the heat worked fine before I took it in….and it only cost me $731 to make it worse! Won’t ever buy from them or get service there again!

I brought my Acadia in to get checked out for squealing brakes. The estimate to fix was $1295! This price is unacceptable and you are taking advantage of people who don’t know any better. I called two local shops for the same repair. One quoted $603 and the other quoted $675. In addition, you charged me $157 for the estimate. The whole experience was ridiculous.

663 mi is a substantial distance to fulfill a much needed/anticipated purchase. Ron Marhofer Buick GMC was definitely up there on my list to buy a GMC Sierra 1500 SLT. I must say when it comes to the Gold standard on how to deliver tremendous level of service Heath Lange embodies just that effortlessly. The amount of energy and effort that was invested into finding the right salesmen, prior to Heath, is quite more than Id like to admit. Our trade-ins have been consistent with Kelly blue book, and in a few cases even higher. As a result we have recommended the Marhofer family of dealerships to our friends and family. We started to become interested in the GMC line in 2011 and have used the Marhofer GMC dealership in North Canton to purchase our last 5 vehicles. When in North Canton we always ask for Steve Richards. Staff was friendly. Oil change and tire rotation took about an hour while I waited. Waiting area was clean, was offered water or coffee while I waited. Everything was good.

Steve Richards @ Ron Marhofer has gone above and beyond again. This is my 3rd vehicle I have purchased through Steve. I have been over the top pleased with every purchase. I called ahead with what I was looking for and when I arrived everything was ready for me to review and test drive. The buying process was very easy and non-stressful. I was in and out in 2 hours and would buy from them again. I also drove 2 hours to buy from this dealer! The used vehicle I purchased has been great. Steve and the dealership continue to reach out to me to make sure that my purchase was sound even after the fact--definitely 5 stars!

Excellent Salesman. Dealership was not pushy at all. The purchasing experience was very well welcoming. I had not planned on making a purchase this year let alone that Monday afternoon. I was thinking about it in 2021, but with a Ford F150. As soon as I went past Marhofer GMC and saw this White Sierra 1500, I actually had to turn around and come back for a closer look. It was not with regret!

We went to Ron Marhofer to purchase a new vehicle. We have purchased several cars here in the past and always had great service from our sales consultant Jim. This time was no different. Jim listened to what we were looking for an proceeded to show us a Buick Envision which matched our requirements perfectly. Jim was a very good listener and also very professional and patient in his presentation of information. We are very happy with our Envision. We highly recommend asking for Jim when you go to this dealership. He is efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. It was a pleasure doing business with him. We are completely satisfied with our purchase.
