I just recently purchased my brand new 2021 Velar from Land Rover Bethesda and had the best experience ever! Everyone was nice, professional and knowledgeable! The process was fast and smooth! I’ve visited several Land Rover dealerships in my search for my Velar and Bethesda was by far the best! I give it 5 stars across the board!!A special shout out to Samantha, Cheryl and Arouna for the excellent customer service and experience!If you are looking to buy I would definitely visit Land Rover Bethesda!

I don’t recommend this dealership! I bought a Velar 2 months ago. My vehicle experienced mechanical issues after driving for few hundred miles. I have made more than 6 trips to the dealership and they have failed to fix the issue! They have been giving us run around. The car has serious mechanical issues! They broke a plastic piece under the steering wheel and instead of replacing it they glued it back. Check the attached pictures! Management refuses to call me back or answer my emails! I have driven from Baltimore to Bethesda to drop off the vehicle for repairs. Let me make it clear that this is brand new vehicle!

We purchased a Discovery courtesy car remotely and the experience was flawless. Devin Walters was excellent in leading us through the process. I took my car in for service as I kept experiencing a slow leak. The service experts advised that I needed a tire after they had already taken care of everything and had my car in wash. They used my tire package and there was no cost and no conversation. I spent my time talking to Cheryl who is always so gracious and accommodating. She checked with service to get an update and to our delight everything was complete.

Very bed experience in this dealership. I had my service done about 2 months ago and I paid around $1200 for oil change and basic service which I was told it has been higher then usual coast as it is special per my milage. Multiple issues came with that service, first my car interior and exterior both were completely dirty and within month after that I went for state inspection, I was NOT able to pass the state inspection for multiple basic maintenance issues that had to be addressed by dealership at time of maintenance. That is very disappointing!

I bought my velar from this dealership and it was a great experience with the process. I really appreciate the sales staff Arouna and the introductory manager Cheryl. Cheryl did a great job with giving me an introduction about the vehicle and every time of i have an issue I call Arouna and he is able to help. These two guys have excellent customer service there at that dealership. Sooner I will be up for buying a second car and that will definitely be this dealership.

If I could leave zero stars I would. My husband and I had a horrible experience at this dealership. To start, the sales team seem hesitate to approach us as I guess in their perception we were window shopping. Turns out we purchased a Range Rover Velar priced over 65k. The staff there didnt become interested in assisting us or giving any type of customer service until they realized we had the money and approval necessary to drive home in one of their vehicles. Kindness is free.. They didnt have that until we whipped out a check book. To make matters worst. The financial accounts representative Deborah Bell was pleasant during the paper signing, but now one month later when weve paid the car off and provided the pay off letter to her she refuses to return our calls, emails or even when my husband has stopped by the office to let her know he is ready to complete the paperwork for the money owed to him she refuses to assist him. She consistently tells him she is busy, she will do it by such date and does not do it. She had him sitting in the waiting area for 45 minutes only for him to find that she was not with anyone else and she just didnt want to help him. It has been almost a month of emails, customer service complaints and visits and Deborah Bell refuses to provide us with the documentation we need for the money owed to us and she refuses to respond to even a request for receipt of our emails. She really soured our experience with this location. We regret ever purchasing from them at all. Deborah Bell is inconsiderate, rude, obnoxious amongst other things, AVOID her and this location if at all possible.

He was very knowledgeable about the truck and still follows up with me to see if there is anything else I need. Recently, an employee of Land Rover Bethesda contacted me about purchasing my used car. I told the person that called me I had a Power of Attorney form that allowed me to sell the car on a family member’s behalf.We set an appointment for me to bring the car to the dealership. However, when I arrived the person I had made the appointment with was not there and I was informed that I would need to register the car in my name before they could discuss purchasing it. I am not sure why the person I talked to first was unaware of this policy and no one has contacted to explain what happened.I suggest being very careful in doing business with this dealership in the future as they do not appear to understand the used car purchasing process.

Chronic problems with Bethesda Jaguar service department. What are my issues:1. Takes days and even weeks to get car back from service. Twice I have brought in my car. First time two weeks to get car back. Second time, one full business week. (Would have been longer if I had left my car as requested).2. Each time service department did not have appropriate parts on hand. Two week turnaround for parts from England, one week from parts warehouse in New Jersey.3. Jaguar’s so-called supply chain is super busted.4. Customer facing Service rep has little to no authority. Shop floor dictates service level and time to complete service. Service rep and customer are hung up in this organization.5. There is no scheduling integrity. At least twice I have made an appointment. When I showed up with car I was told that I did not have an appointment and I had to get in back of the service line. Assumption was that I the customer was wrong. No process integrity. Services rep at that time even argued with me vehemently and disrespectfully. Not white glove service,6. Appeals to service management are futile. Can’t rely on customer advocacy in Bethesda Jaguar Land Rover service department This loss of organization integrity.In the end, I cannot recommend Bethesda Jaguar Land Rover.

The absolute worst customer service and they do not follow through on any of their promises. I bought my first car in May 2021 and after 8 hours, we still didn’t have the keys to the car I was purchasing. We arrived the minute the store opened and were the only people the sales person was helping but she was just so unprofessional and hard to work with. The sales person I worked with was so mean, condescending and rude that the manager said it was best to just rush me to sign the papers and or I’d end up being there a total of 10 hours. The manager said this particular sales person is known to be rude to customers so one of the managers ended up closing out the sale and he promised I’d receive a black license plate, they would call when my plates arrive and they would order me a spare key for the trouble. NONE of that ever happened.They even forgot to have me sign certain documents when I was there and called constantly begging me to come back and sign it but were hesitant and rude when I asked them to mail it as it was their oversight.It’s Sept. 8th and I’ve never received my paper work for my purchase in the mail. I ended up paying over $400 for the spare key in which they emailed they would refund immediately and after several emails with my receipt no refund has been issued. Also my temp tags expired and they never let me know they had my plates for over a month just sitting in the dealership. When I called, they said they tried to call me but they never leave voicemails. So if you don’t leave a voicemail, how was I supposed to know you all were calling? This was the first and worst car buying experience. It’s 4 months later and I still don’t have my paper work of my purchase nor have they refunded my money as they promised. Mediocre and subpar is the norm for this dealership and when I brought this to the store manager Adolf, he just says sorry. Absolutely awful.

The initial purchase of my car went well. i was a bit thrown off by how fast things were moving without me even seeing or going over the car first but i let it slide because of the type of luxurious dealership i thought i was in. 2 hours after getting my car it brakes down. i call about it and add that my warranty states that i’m supposed to get a rental car until mine is fixed but they told me it wouldn’t be possible. after dropping my car off i was told to expect a call from them about the status of my vehicle within the next 24 hours. i heard nothing up until 4 business later when i attempted to call and get some type of update but the lady answered and “attempted” to patch me in to someone who is directly working with my car and they never answered. i called the store back 3 times before taking it upon myself to show up and get answers. after 40 minutes the service manager helped me and told me that my car needed some type of approval from the insurance (which i highly doubt takes this long) then they’ll order the part and have my car fixed in about 2 days. a few hours later the gentlemen i was trying to reach in the first place by phone calls me back to tell me a slightly more in-depth rundown than what the service manager told me. the salesmen who originally helped me buy the car was completely non existent besides feeding me fake reassurance that he’s gonna get to the bottom of it and keep me updated but never tells me anything nor does he make a effort to find anything out. till this day 5 days since buying the car i still haven’t gotten any of the paperwork that was supposed to be emailed to me. this is by far my worst experience in costumer service i’ve ever received especially from a place that i initially thought could never let me down the way they have. this has been a terrible experience not to mention stressful having to figure out how i’m going to get to work with the car of my parents who also have a job of their own that they need to get to. disappointed not infuriated isn’t even the word to describe how i feel

I have never experienced such a bad service provided by the service advisor and then by service manager. The service advisor and the manager were equally incompetent . They will make excuses so that they do not provide a loaner The kept dragging the service of my car from one day to almost one week delaying the delivery one day at a time. Once i demanded to return the car with out fixing, it took another two days to return it andI still have not picked up . I am told today it will take couple of days to put it back together by the service manager The issue was a simple squeaking when seats are. adjusted. Minor issue but they give you a headache. This is not isolated. Second time in one year similar attitude.

Not my first rodeo in buying/leasing a vehicle. After 5 Range Rovers, Land Rover Bethesda would be the third dealership I am getting a Land Rover from. I was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The sales lady Samantha was courteous, professional, and most importantly caring. The sales manager Matt as well as the Customer Experience rep Cheryl were attentive and helpful. Nice car buying experience. We had found a Range Rover online at Bethesda Land Rover that perfectly fit our checklist and made an appointment that day to come look at it. The sales agent, Sami, allowed us to take an extensive test drive to check out the Range Rover and then went over all the features of the vehicle with us. There was no attempt at hard sell tactics. He answered all our questions and then allowed us plenty of time to talk it over before we made the decision to buy. We had intended to finance the car through our credit union but the dealership actually offered us better terms than the credit union, so we went with them. Overall, five stars to Bethesda Range Rover for the entire process. We would definitely return to Bethesda Range Rover the next time we are shopping for a vehicle.

BEWARE of the Finance Department!I’ve been waiting for a lease credit for 12 months after the finance department deliberately misled me on the available new vehicle maintenance packages. This is the worst dealership ever. From finance, to service are all incompetent people. I bought a car and told the sale person I am limited on my time to have everything ready. Waited three hours to the finance person to see me. I signed and left with no documentation what so ever and she told me that I will receive by email. Ten days later no email. I called and the GM informed me that she forgot to send it.Oh and service and the people work there are so unprofessional and no communications what so ever. I was waiting to service my car for weeks and finally after I was getting frustrated, they told me to bring the car and will have a loaner for me. 4 days later still no call from service on the status of my car and decided to stop by to ask about it. I was told it was ready. I picked my car and while I was leaving the dealership, I got a message from them of $75 charge on my cc for fuel. Be careful and take your business somewhere else.

When we bought our Range Rover car from here, they all asked us to buy expensive car protection options, then when I visited there later for a service with all arrangements by our designated manager, the third party did not show up on that day and the manager asked us to come back with another reservation, then I visited there again, and I asked a loner car because the Land Rover made me another travel for the service. But the manager said it was not his fault (then whos fault??? I just bought the plan from the Land Rover sales person...) and all the protection plans are thru the third party and will not be provided any loner car and the manager will not treat you correctly. If the Land Rover does not want to care their customer for the plan, they should not sell the protection plan, but the third party should sell, then I would not buy the expensive option for bad caring. I just trusted Land Rover Bethesda and we paid 150K for our car and all additional costs for the protection plans and got treated badly from the manager. It was not pleasant experience at all.

When called to make the appointment I was told it will take 1.5 hours and when I asked for a vehicle I was told before you know it the service would be over and I would not need a vehicle. When I got there and the advisor was taking my info I was told come back in 4.5 hours! Asked for a vehicle, I was told none was available as I needed to make the reservation when making the appointment! I just left.

We would like to personally thank Samantha Cambridge Sales Associate, Brad (Manager) and Deborah from finance.Especially Samantha, as she was extremely accommodating to all our needs. She was easy to talk to and helped us find the right car. Samantha was very patient and courteous, she went above and beyond to show us all the available cars, explained to us all the necessary details clearly. She made us feel very comfortable and did not rush us while we were trying to make this big decision. We spent all day and they were all very patient and helped us in every step until we finalized a car to purchase. This business is following unfair business practices and the staff at this dealership simply lies and deceives the customer at every step. I bought a new car Landrover Discovery Sport HSE 2016 model from this car dealership on 11/30/2017. And I was told by the sales team that the car comes with Original manufacturer warranty of 4 years/50000 miles. I took my car for servicing at this dealership in April 2021 this year at 30000 miles and I was told by Eric from service department that my car warranty had expired as of 03/31/2021 . I was amazed by the fact and I took him to their sales department where the front end lady confirmed that it was purchased as new vehicle indeed on 11/30/2017 so my warranty should have been good until 11/30/2021. So the service manager Eric told me that they would have to contact Landrover USA and get it fixed which would take about a month and they will let me know. I waited for their call but since I did not receive any calls, I called them back last week of MAY 2021. I left voicemail at least 3 times but never got a return call. I contacted LANDROVER USA company directly to find out what should I do, and I was told that only Landrover Bathesda Fianance Department can fix that by sending the correction records to LANDROVER USA. And they even tried to connect them on 3 way call but Landrover Bathesda did not answer. So I contacted Landrover Bathesda Finance manager ERIC next day around 05/27 or 5/28/2021 and again on 06/01/2021 . All these times, I was told by him that he is waiting on General Manager ADOLF for more directions on what to do. Around 06/03/2021 Kenny, finance manager on duty called me back stating that General Manager Adolf is offering free 1 year warranty from Automation from June 2021 to June 2022 and he will send the paperwork to sign. I asked him how is it comparable to Original Manufacturer Warranty and I was told that they will get back to me. But I neither received any calls/emails nor any mail regarding that warranty promise. On 06/09/2021, Kenny left me voicemail stating Adolf is just waiting for my phone call which was never communicated so I called Kenny back but I just got voicemail back and left a voicemail for Adolf to call me. I never received any phone call. I called back Landrover Bathesda finally to 06/15/2021 to speak to Adolf and operator said he is not available and they could only transfer me to voicemail. Frustrated again, I left a voicemail on 06/16/2021 to finance manager Kenny about this run around I was getting. And I finally got the phone call from General Manager Adolf on 06/16/2021. He immediately told me that he will reinstate the original manufacturer warranty of my car until 11/30/2021 by very next day by end of the day on 06/17/2021 and he will email me the confirmation and details. But again I did not hear back from him and did not receive any emails on 06/17/2021. So I called and left 2 voicemails for him on 06/18/2021 land eft another voicemail on 06/22/2021. But I Still have not received any communication from them yet. I am frustrated at this point with their constant lies, giving me runaround and their unprofessional business ethics and practices. I would like to get to bottom of this and get my original company warranty issue resolved.I was lied by SALES TEAM when I was making the purchase, by SERVICE DEPARTMENT(Eric) that it would be fixed within a month and I would be called, From FINANCE MANAGER Kenny (that they were offering me 1 year of automation warranty ) and even GENERAL MANAGER of this dealership Adolf (that he would fix the issue in a day by 06/17/2021). I cannot imagine a big business like this running in this complete unethical fashion.

I recently purchased a 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport from this location. I was looking at it for nearly a month before buying and the sales person on up all worked with me to make sure I was happy with it without being too pushy, they let me shop at my own pace. My husband purchased a Discovery Sport from this dealership. On the day that we picked the vehicle up we had to wait for almost an hour. All paperwork had been completed on a previous day. We literally only needed to pick up the keys and leave. They also failed to fill the car up with gas. Being that we are Virginia residents the front license plate holder was also not installed. My husband and I have owned BMW, Audi and Lexus vehicles and by far this was the worst service we ever have experienced. I am hopeful that the Virginia dealership servicing would vehicle will be much better.

Seen a car online that I really wanted to buy so I called and made an appointment for this past weekend (Saturday March 20th) Call Multiple time to make sure the car was available because I Live In Brooklyn New York traveling to Maryland. They assured me that the vehicle was available and that they operate by scheduled appointment only. They even went as far as emailing me three Times the day of to confirm that I was coming in, only to be told the car was sold after traveling 3 and a 1/2 hours to get it. I am still in disbelief and feel so disrespected. I don’t not recommend them at all, and more about this story will be posted on YouTube Shortly. Terrible customer service. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They treated me like I wasnt supposed to be there. I knew what I wanted before I walk in, it would have been a simple transaction, no haggling. But instead of leaving with the vehicle I wanted, I left with reminder that personal perspectives are more important than business.

Was initially very happy with the assistance I received choosing my vehicle. However, I didn’t appreciate some of the tactics used to sell the add on packages for their vehicles. I was told by a finance associate that even if I signed up for a vehicle protection package, I could cancel within 30 days for a refund. He neglected to say that the refund would only apply to the last few payments on my lease...3 YEARS AWAY. At point, it almost makes no sense to cancel. Not a good experience at all.

I had a courtesy checkup on my 2020 Jaguar XF that I purchased a few months ago (April 2020). I was assigned to advisor Michael Smith. The entire staff was very accommodating and professional. Mr. Smith sat down and talked with me about any questions and concerns I had relating to the vehicle. He was very patient and considerate explaining what would be checked and continued to give me updates while waiting. I feel confident that I can call him with any more questions should anything arise. Thank you Land Rover Bethesda for an exceptional visit.

Best experience in car buying that I have ever had. Im actually surprised without regret. Our salesperson, Samantha was supportive and superb. Her managers assisted us without haggling and made us feel like we were already part of the JLR family. Cheryl topped the experience off with her guidance and expertise in her really smooth and calming way. Overall, if you are in the market for a Land Rover or Jaguar, hurry in to see them.

I went in because my car had no audio, however Steve informed me they did not have any loaner vehicles until after the holidays... meaning I really could not get my car service until after that. I didn’t think this would work for me since I needed my car audio to work. I then called Cheryl Stewart & she was able to get me in the next morning...however it took them 2 1/2 hours to get my car serviced & Steve also placed another customer that came in after me before me. The gentleman had a slow leak on his left side back tire, apparently it was a nail in the tire. After sitting in the waiting area for over 2 hours I asked Steve joe much longer it would take & he informed me that it was almost done. Well that almost done was a 30 minutes wait. I really don’t know what going on lately at this location. Customer service has decreased tremendously!! Not a good look at all.

The customer service here is beyond disappointing. I am 6 months into having a Range Rover and still waiting on 3 outstanding items which a key is one of. Not sure how you sell a CPO with only one key - that’s not Land Rover standard for sure. Overall, upset with the process and you should look at other dealerships to purchase from when you’re dropping a significant amount of money.

My experience with this place has been very unpleasant since the day I made the purchase of my 2019 RRS. The owner is rude and very unprofessional so as most of his employees. I have been there three or more times and every time their services seems to be worsened.The sad thing about all this is, with the exception of the owner every service provider I dealt with is Black however, they treated me or talk to me as I don’t belong or I’m seeking favors. It a shame for such arrogant and unprofessional individuals to be working at an high end dealership.I would have rate them a zero or minus zero if given the options.

I was looking to purchase a luxury vehicle at Jaguar/Land Rover of Bethesda, the customer service was poor. Ideally going to luxury dealership one would expect to experience superb professionalism. Management dropped the ball on a contractual agreement. Save yourself the headache and don’t purchase from this location.

Filling this out for my dad.I would give 0 stars if that was an option. I brought my car to get serviced for rear end links that were torn and had warranty on it. They said they need to check if there is warranty on it and will check it later and did not give me any clear answers. They kept my car for over 3 weeks. I called them to check on the status of my car and they said they would call back after a few minutes later and I never received a call back that day or any day. I had to call back after 10 days later when they never gave me a call and they said it wasnt ready yet but asked me to come by. When I went then they checked if I had warranty on the car. Then I left and when I called again after another 10 days they said they had to test drive the car. I called again asking for any updates and they kept stalling. When finally after 3 weeks later, I had to go to them and ask where my car was and then when I went they said my car was ready. I had to go and never called me to say it was ready. When I went to pick up my car, the inside smelled of heavy oil. They had spilled oil inside my cup holder and the seat area and also had scratches inside that was never there before. I had to get my car detailed to get the smell out. My car started shaking every time I slowed down too. They never gave me clear answers and kept telling me it wasnt ready yet and didnt tell me any reason and dirtied my car.
