This place is very understaffed. There was yelling from the moment we walked in. The hostess was practically begging someone to seat us. We were then told to walk to “that” table by pointing. Unprofessional. After waiting like 9 minutes, we were asked for drinks. The waitress barely knew what drinks they had. We received our drinks different to what she had described (extremely expensive by the way). Things were dirty. We had to wait a long while to order our food. The waitress did not write anything down and came back 6 minutes later to ask for our order again. When we received our food, which was okay, the meat was undercooked in some parts. Each of us had ordered a plate. One of the plates came when everyone else had been eating and when we asked for a box for the very late entree, the waitress was bothered. We proceeded to ask for a second box for some of the other left over food. She forgot. After ten minutes of waiting we asked another waitress who then yelled from our table at someone to give us a box and the check. Our original waitress came back and asked bothered if we had asked for another box. Yes, we did ask HER over twenty minutes ago. We received our check and at the bottom it said the tip was not included when it indeed was. Not only that, the tip is included AFTER 5 people not with 5 people. We talked to the cashier and she said there was nothing she could do. Tip is also included after $100 which we did not go over nor near. They most definitely did not deserve the amount charged for the tip. Apart from that mess, there wasn’t any knives or forks ready. This I understand since they are understaffed but to be annoyed at our asking for something to eat with or some milk for our coffee is rude and unprofessional. On the positive side, maybe their to-go service is better or just as bad. I would not recommend this place to absolutely anyone. Also, no one was wearing masks as they spoke over the food.

The food was pricy but the portions were incredible, you definitely get what you pay for and then some. The desserts were a bit lacking, the Tres Leches was missing 2/3 leches, but it was decent.

Food is always good. Service is the WORST part. Your servers need some really good training. Sever did not came once to check often on us. I had to go look for her so I could get more drink. Learn to anticipate your guest needs.

Out of a 5 I give Morazan a 3.5, but I rounded it up. The restaurant was clean and the servers were nice. The service was a little slow on how long it took us to get our food. There are no refillable drink, so if your really thirsty get a glass of water as well. I got the Pollo Frito (Fried Chicken), which was good, just a little dry. The beans were my favorite part to be honest.

Food was good. However, our server was not the most attentive. Fortunately, there was a new server beside us who took better care of us than our original server. I will come back and ask for the other server.

Very good prices for the portion sizes. Most plates are big enough for 2 people and I have never been disappointed by something I ordered here. The staff mostly speaks Spanish but for me that is not an issue. All in all it’s a very cozy local chain and this location has undergone many great cosmetic rennovations. I ordered a quesadilla mixta and an horchata

Crowd at this specific location is very shady. No protocols in place to kick out customers that are under the influence. Food is hit or miss and bad parking when packed.

Customer service very bad

I went with my family and they messed up the order multiple times and wouldnt make an effort to fix it, or change it, and then the waitress went out to say that she would be charged for the changes, the whole experience and customer service was trash I refuse to go back. They didnt listen to order and served it all wrong. .

As others have said, the menu is unique, the portions are large and the flavors are excellent. The fact that the majority of staff speaks mostly Spanish is a reflection of their targeted audience. Dont let an authentic experience scare you away from a great experience.

Great food and service, I dont speak Spanish so they gave me a bilingual waitress to take my order. Prices were better than any other Mexican restaurant Ive been to.

The food was definitely good!

We called to place an order and told know one spoke English. Heard in the background multiple people speaking at least broken English. So I drove over to try and place an order. 7 times someone walked out to take an order or deliver food and every single time I was blatantly ignored. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS. There are plenty of Hispanic restursnts who provide amazing services and quite frankly better food!

Not answering when still open

My wife ordered tamales over the phone and asked me to pick it up on my lunch break. Once I walked in ( Dressed as a Food Lion Store Manager) I got nothing but looks of ...why are you here?Either way, I paid and received my wifes food. She ordered chicken tamales, and they gave us corn tamales instead!! Wow! Im black, but shes Peruvian/Puerto Rican and told them I didnt know Spanish. Real unbelievable experience, i only wonder if they discriminated against us cause of our mixed cultural marriage. 🤔

The food is really awesome. Wish the service level matched it. We were never brought chips/salsa, while other tables around us were consistently refilled, drinks took too long and my food came out wrong and had to be sent back. When the right food came, it was delicious. Will probably stick to takeout in the future.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. When we first moved here we loved going to this place because the food was good we stopped going because the service got worse and worse. Waitresses always get our orders wrong. We always said “good food, horrible service” so we stopped coming here for months. Recently we decided to give it another go and boy do I regret it. After putting an order through the phone where the waitress gave an attitude and didn’t even ask for a name, we show up to the establishment and my sister goes through to ask for her order and then 2 more waitresses ask her too. Now she’s waiting for almost 20 minutes standing there only to be told they never got that order. WHAT ?! How are you going to have a customer wait 20 minutes after telling 3 people what her order was only to tell her you don’t have it. If you never got the order you probably should have started making it 20 minutes ago when you found that out. Not have a customer wait standing 20 minutes. When I called to speak to the manager she goes on to lie to me and say that she never said anything about her order and didn’t ask anybody that it wasn’t until a waitress came up to her that she found out. STOP LYING ! She then goes on to say she called another location looking for the order, and went through her past calls, WHY ?! why not go ahead and start the order then ? If you know you don’t have it. STOP lying. This place has good food, horrible service, horrible management, definitely wouldn’t recommend to anybody. This review is based on multiple visits. This was just the final straw.

Our food was delicious. If you cant speak Spanish, Id go somewhere else though. Not one person working in the building could speak English fluently, so we had a hard time just ordering. We had to just point to things on the menu.

I gave this 2 stars because the food is pretty good. However everything else about the restaurant is pretty terrible. The first thing you see when you come in is a miserable, unprofessional hostess, who clearly hates her job, it needs a lot of fixing up, the bathrooms were NASTY and the service sucks. The servers dont ever greet you, they just walk up and ask what you want to drink, and take forever to bring you the drinks. They dont write down the orders, and consistently mess up the orders. If thats managements idea they need to take into consideration not everyone brain works the same and some servers NEED to write down the orders for the customers sake. They also rarely bring out all the food at the same time. The servers rarely come back to check on you and drinks sit unrefilled for the whole time. Just go up to the hostess and ask to pay your bill because the servers take forever to bring it to you, because they are too busy talking to another or flirting. The place could be so much better if they hired real servers and not cute girls with bad attitudes.

Amazing service and even better food. The portion sizes were wonderful and didnt take away from the beautifully spiced dishes. Morazan was my favorite part of my visit to NC!

This place does not have a copycat menu of every other place in the southeast. It is unique, usually very good. With that said, food appeal and service are uneven. I very much like having breakfast here. Delicious usually.

$15 in soft drinks for 3 people??? Also, I attempted with all due respect to ask for a burrito with just beans in it due to I am a vegatarian. I was brought a beef burrito and when I explained that I requested bean when it did arrive apparently I may have upset the cook because the beans were hard and burnt, ate part of it, paid our bill and sorry but .....

I like the food very much .Its reasonbly priced,nice portions and very tasty. Our waitress did not understand English very well but she made every effort to understand our order. She was quite nice. We will return.

The lunch specials are super cheap $5.99 to $8.99The service is ok, waitresses are super nice but always seem to be very busy.A lot of the local workers in the Construction and Landscape industry seem to love this place.I dont expect a SPA like treatment for a $6 Lunch, if service is an issue maybe you should try a $20 Lunch at South Park.

Been here plenty of times NEVER get what we ask for but always just let it go. But today we had 4 different servers come ask us what to drink still had to wait 10 minutes to even get drinks. when we ordered the women didn’t even tell us she couldn’t understand so another woman came to the table and told us the other server had no idea what we were saying. waited for what seemed like forever for our food and my order was wrong. if you don’t speak Spanish DONT go here. Even the group of Mexicans next to us got up and left because they waited forever for there drinks. HORRIBLE.

Love their papusas! Lots of variety, very affordable, without suffering quality too much. Service is hit or miss. Theyre nice enough and accommodating, it just seems it always takes forever to get their attention. That being said we still love going here with friends.

THE BEST PLACE TO GO!!... No its not exactly English friendly.... but do you want American Mexican or REAL good food... the BIGGEST portions you can imagine... and I mean HUGE.... I was a bit angry because someone brought me a check and left and I assumed someone would come back to find out after 20 min I was supposed to go pay up front.. either way I got fajitas... and 3 people could have ate off it for 10 bucks.. Yeah most of the servers do not speak English, but they can try and will not fail you in getting your order correct. The food is tremendously good with the natural authenticity from the country the food is from. It is a great place to eat out if you are in the mood for Hispanic food. Their Honduran Baleadas are amazing and also their Salvadorean Pupusas. If you are in the mood to try some really good Hispanic food from either Honduras, El Salvador, or Mexico, come to this El Morazan!

The Deluxe burrito is very delicious, the sauce and the sides compliment it very well. The food is delicious here the only thing holding the resturant back is the A/C and the Waitresses.
