Employees at this home depot are very Rude!I went there looking for something, according to the home depot app they had like 35 available at this store, I asked 2 employees and they responded with a bad tone of voice, saying that they didnt have it and that app is never updated correctly. So your employees are upset because is a lot of people buying and making millions of dollars??

I will share more details when I have more time. But never ever shop home appliances at this place. Terrible sales associates . Very unprofessional. They gave me misinformation three times, which caused me enormous amount of time to get the problems fixed. Also, I had to spend hours being on the phone with Home Depot. Plus, Home Depot customer service and appliance delivery system are a mess. Not well coordinated and do not do the job they are supposed to do. I will shop at Lowe’s or another place going forward. I spent almost $4000 for home appliances and I got horrifying experiences, which are not solved yet. I would give negative starts if I could.

I like this Home Depot over Secaucus location. They are normally stocked better. Its organized and clean. The big problem is the workers. There were 3 employees in the aisle. The minute I asked can anyone help me, they scattered like roaches when the lights come on. Once I was lucky to get someone and he had no idea what I was talking about. I work in the industry so I was using the proper terminology. Its mainly because the employees are 18-21 that have never held a tool before.

The reason I like this Home Depot here people at the painting department help me a great deal lot they were very kind and had time to listen to me thank you keep up the good work

I always found the right things here. I can give only 3 stars because l never found help here.

Don’t go in the morning on weekdays. So jammed with contractors. They have pro desk for contractor check out. But still very chaotic. Good return policy on construction materials and very affordable plants deal. Home diy dream place. One less star for sometimes bad quality on tiles. Overall building material feels better quality than Lowe’s next door. Hence contractors only goes to Home Depot.

Went here to get some tools that we needed at home, and took forever trying to find what we need. We needed a drill set with a bag, and asked a worker to do so. Took about 15 mins or more to get what we wanted cause this worker did everything so slow. The one we picked apparently didnt come with a bag even though the display sticker label said so. Instead we picked another one and as we just settled for that one, she proceeded in telling us to let the management know about the sticker, which we just ignored since it isnt our job.We were told the drill set would be where the counter would be so we went on our way to shop for other things we need.As we were going around, we kept seeing the same 2 workers no matter where we go. In the end when we were about to head out, we were trying to confirm if our drill would be where the register is and the other worker looked super confused and kept saying something else.In the end we kind of got fed up so we just left to purchase our items.At the register we saw our drill set on the counter, but its covered by clear protectant so we couldnt just go and reach for it. Thankfully there was one cashier, but unfortunately she was counting money and telling us 1 moment. After waiting a while we finally got to make a purchase.Our overall journey to this place took way longer than it shouldve been but at least we got our stuff

Worst place ever. Waited one hour. Cant get no one to help. Worst organizations. Thing around the place, one of the old lady cant walk through.

Terrible store design. Hard to locate items. Have to walk entire length of store for checkout at other end. Unfriendly store personnel force customers to use self check. Store or other credit card is preferred. Got a dirty look both times we used cash. Not good experiences. Think well try Lowes which is right next door.

Not a fan of the cameras in several aisles (bath hardware, etc.) that repeatedly beeped at me reminding me that Im being filmed. If you have such a huge shrink issue, maybe hire more employees. What an insult and annoyance to customers.

Decided to go late at night to avoid the crowds on Tuesday 4/6/21 to pick up some construction materials. Unfortunately a lot of staff roaming around but took a long time to get assistance.The cashier offered a 10% partial discount which was nice. A purchase that would have taken 1/2 hour took like 1-1/2 hours.Management should probably train/motivate staff to help the customers and make the purchase experience more efficient.

Im finally spending my time to write a review. I always spend too much time trying to figure out the actual prices of their plywood. They dont do their jobs and put the correct prices. By the time Ive loaded up 4 sheets of ply Im charged $55/ply thinking it was $40.55 (as seen in photo in handwriting...) So do they actuallu think Im gonna go back and return everything? They get me everytime. I understand prices have soared due to covid and natural disasters but cmon, do your jobs.

If you ever have something to be done I wont recommend this place, they are super unprofessional, if you paid an order over a 1000 dol, plus delivery fee, plus extra to be delivery between 2 an 6 pm an then, they send it at 12 pm and they blame you for not to be there, Like I already paid extra. On top of that they tried to be helpful saying you can come to pick up the truck and drive it by yourself and do the delivery which I was charge 100 dol. Are they out there minds. Also they blame the delivery company which is a company hired by them what can you expect dealing with this company, the cherry on top on the cake is when we ask for the refund, the manager said because there is a 15 dol gift car involved In the order we cant give you the money back. A case has to be open, seriously 15 dol in an order over a 1000 dol what kind of scam is this. My backyard has to be fix next week for my daughters birthday, but thanks to these very very very incompetent people that wont be possible. Please if you ever need something done stay away from this people. Nobody cares. Nobody fix anything, they just blame to the person next to them. And north bergen nj store worst place ever, the manager is a joke, the employees said whatever they want to the customer. I would prefer Home depot to Lowes. Only because we are kinda used to home depot and its easy for us to find the products. If not, somebody will always be there to help us find the products. I really love the customer service there... quality and price have always been good as well...

Very clean and organized store . Prices are fairly reasonable and selection is just humongous. The really helpful thing for me personally is that they mix paint colors for you and paint is quite cheap . They also make a key duplicates . So, for all your construction needs - it’s your perfect solution 👌🏽

I bought a fan and I wanted to know how it works, so I asked the staff to explain it, but they answered that they didnt know, and couldnt get any help. Especially, it seems that the staff doesnt know in detail about home appliances. There seems to be little awareness.

Curbside pick doesnt work.Waiting at pickup location for 30 min after request for pick up, but nobody show up.Finally, I had to go inside to pick up my order.First reaction of the customer servicr lady was Bring your cart if you want to pick up!Terrible Home Depot I have ever seen.And worst thing is the employees were very rude.

Always its a good experience for me at the North Bergen, Hudson County, Home Depot I live in Bergen County, New Jersey; we have whats called Blue Laws which disallows retailers from opening on Sundays. Nevertheless, the North Bergen Home Depot is open on Sundays, giving it a MAJOR PLUS in my ranking of Home Depots! Im a major Home Improvement, DIY enthusiasts so in at the place often! Also, they often have inventory in stock. Their staff is often very busy, however. At times, its hard to get some help, on the other hand, the staff is very nice and professional. I know the place like the back of my hand, but sometimes I see people waiting for help.

Everything you are looking from home renovations to working tools this place is full loaded. I give 4 stars because the area where it’s located it’s almost always very very busy, most of the time is hard to park. But other than that great service and great store.

There was a lot of confusion when I did a return on something that I purchased with a gift card. Many levels of employees had to deal with this problem. Itd be nice if they could smooth out that process in the future

Do not attempt to use any of their services-- Home Delivery, in home measurement, installation, etc. You will spend hours of your life on hold on the phone, getting hung up on, getting transferred to random departments, and going in to the store and waiting in person to speak to people-- all to just cancel your order and go elsewhere. Honestly, some of the worst experiences of my life dealing with this place.

They are Very unprofessional in Flooring section, a Rude associate Called Christian, he is not willing to do his job paid for which is explains to the client options of materials to choose from .... where you can walk to the next Store Lowes and meet professional associates and they are there for your questions and to let you make the correct decision for your project.

They dont have a wire saw, I was shocked

If you want to make a Car Key copy dont go there. They first make you wait an hour to then say they dont make copies for those kind of keys mean while it says on the wall they do. After another representative said the associate that make the key copies isnt there. But they dont make copy for my kind of keys, referred me to go to a local locksmith down the road. I went to another home depot and surprisingly it was done. Apart from that the place is well organized and clean.

Very friendly staff (Thank You Jon) but the service was not as quick as expected. If there are any products you need to get from customer service make sure they have them in stock before you buy them so you dont waste time like I did.

Waited about an hour in line to get a random orbit floor sander. Not only did she not know what a random orbit floor sander is, she was on her phone while helping other customers. She did not help me with the equipment inspection and spoke no English. She did not explain to me the details of my rental and proceeded to charge me $150. You get the money back when you return it but she did not explain it. She handed me my receipt for sandpaper and left all my documents for the rental on the employee side of the glass wall and walked away. Another guy had to come to give me my papers and check to see if my gear was working. They left the sandbag catcher on the counter and I had to drive back and get it killing about 2 hours overall from my 4 hour rental. Lack of language and knowledge is forgivable but she was plain rude and lazy.

A great HD in my opinion. Its massive and has a great parking lot. My roomie and I are moving so of course we came to the moving/packing pros for assistance. Now my friend and I dont have a huge af car, so we tried are darnest to keep that in mind though it seemed to not matter as we had to jenga stuff into the car. Still great workers, super organized and cleaned, its HD how can they mess up!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND unless you know EXACTLY what you need. It takes at least 30 minutes to get anyone to respond if you need assistance and when they do finally respond they have little to no knowledge of the materials they are selling . Not only that; theres a male employee there who treated me terribly because Im a female and he assumed I didnt have any idea what I was doing and once I proved him wrong he became VERY HOSTILE and very rude and blew me off without any help whatsoever. Even when I came back with a manager he still refused to be of any other assistance because I bruised his ego. Management is very helpful and did rectify the situation fully but it shouldnt have had to get that far. Very disappointing

Very disappointed at how they are limiting veterans ability to use their military discount. They seem to pick and choose what it can be used for. Their selection isnt the best either in any of their departments. I definitely have seen a deterioration in their quality of product and service

Besides that you pay 3.5% taxes in this store the help that worker Chris had given me is outstanding. I came like 20x looking for things and every worker helps me find it or take me to someone who can help me. Thank you Chris and the rest of the team for all the help.

Several employees are rude, uninformed, no customer service etiquette and should be working for the city dump. They changed my delivery date, lied about me not wanting to pay tax, told me I could not have a huge (extremely heavy) $600plus outdoor grill assembled and delivered. I told Dalia I have a picture of the Store posting confirming that was not true. Also, they told me there was no “General” store manager; only the managers for the specific departments. Then they want to charge extra for what should be a normal delivery within 4-6 hours. Then a manager Ruth (male) was to call me back in 1 hour and never did. Totally unprofessional.

The manager Louis and staff Geibran are just amazing. Great customer service. This is the work and customer service every business should have. My situation: I had a bad experience with online order. I order something online (it showed item was available) and when I went to the store to pick it up. it wasn’t available. They issued a refund. But I was very upset because it happen to me twice in 2 different stores. And I had to wait for the refund for 5 days! The manager made the arrangements to have the product sent to the store and he personally called when he had the item in the store. This was the next day!! They held the item aside for me to pick up or have it deliver to my house for free. 😁 I went to pick it up because I needed the item ASAP. They even gave me a discount for the struggle. Very satisfied! Thank You 😊

Friendly, and caring pick up station and curbside experience but in the store, not friendly and hard to get help. Big store with 50+ isles but in homeware of hooks and cabinet knobs, it was a disaster. Many mislabeled and unorganized. Each box of cabinet knobs had mixed items or random non-knob items or just empty. Someone needs to clean this isle up!

No customer service. I had to ask 4 different employees for help and no one could help with the products I needed. When I went to pick up my order and I got home only to find out boxes were not given to me and were still sitting in the back. When I went back I get the attitude from customer service while employees are standing around chit chatting. The woman at customer service called 3 different people and had to wait over 30 minutes for them to give me my product because of their mistake.

I requested help at the tools section and after 20 minutes I left the facility empty hand nobody came to help me

Terrible service. First time I went the cashier was on the phone with earphones in and would not take them out when I asked her a question. Second time I went three workers were jumping on each other, goofing around and wrestling when they clearly saw that I was in line waiting. Its obvious their management has no control of their employees. Lowes is right next door and has MUCH better customer service.

Its a home depot. Its got everything you need and it seems like the employees here are taking the precautions needed to protect their customers during this time of the pandemic. Solid store.

This home Depot gets only two stars I was a little disappointed. I usually go to the home Depot for a lot of DIYs but today for some reason they were out of stock on everything from carpets linoleum and certain items that I would always think they would have on stock. the place was a little messy there was straps all over the place on the floor little hazardous for customers to walk around.there was a lot of sections you can access they had them blocked off no one was apparently working in the aisles so it was a little bit disappointing today my visit to home Depot. Hopefully the next time I go in they will have carpeting to choose from.

Have been here before but surprised to see that their garden section is much bigger than hackensack location.
