One of my favorite place for outdoor stuff. I got the solar umbrella I went for with a couple other things I did not go for. One of the employees helped us to take the stuff to the car and I tried to give him a tip and he wouldnt take it. This store has a little of everything, the price is great, it is clean and spacious and the employees are all very nice. Been back since then and will keep going back. My backyard looks great and on a budget all from Ocean State.

I love a good discount store, because I save money and get to purchase items at great prices. They dont always have everything you need, but the inventory is huge! Funny thing is, even if I am just browsing, I spend $20 on all sorts of things that I did not know I needed!

I get kitty litter there. Only place that carries that brand. Clothes prices are great. Coffee prices too. Unusual brands. Good prices. Good quality.

Love this store,was in the carpet department today had a great young man that helped me with my carpet all the way to my car, couldnt ask for no more than that.

I visited the the Babylon job lot on 8/31/2021 and a employee name Todd was extremely helpful and professional I dont know him outside of this store but he made my shopping experience easy I needed things for the yard to get ready to pack yard up he was very knowledgeable of the store which was rewarding in and outThanks Todd

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and purchased a few items. Line was long and only one cashier even though there were staff walking around not ringing. Cashier almost charged me too much for a pet toy that was marked $2.99 on the tag but came up $4.99 in the computer thankfully I was paying attention and said something before I paid. Not sure if Id go back when Target and Walmart aren’t too far and their prices are better or similar

As long as you pay attention, you can find some good deals.you also need to look at size/weight of off brand objects. Its no deal if its 1/3rd the price if it is 1/2 the weight

Good place for barging hunting and finding some unusual items. Stock turns over quickly so check back often. The review would be 5 stars but it can be difficult to find assistance and they keep the bathroom locked so that can be a problem.

My wife liked the place. She went in there for one thing but came out with other stuff. She was excited by what they have and the prices. I definitely have to check it out myself.

This store hardly ever has the items that are in their paper advertisements. It is very dirty. I was glad I had a mask on when I was over by an area with rolled up carpets for sale. The dust underneath those carpets are now embedded in those carpets. Just what you want your kids to be playing on. NOT. Hey Ocean Slate! Please clean up your act. Were in the middle of a pandemic. We dont need to worry about an unsanitary facility. They actually get 2 stars because they have some cheap clothes. Not a big assortment but fairly cheap.

Amazing deals and coupons weekly on name brand products. They have what is called a Crazy Deal where you buy a product that is $29.99, but then you get a gift card to the store for the exact price ($29.99). They sell everything from pet supplies to bódywashs/shampoo/conditioner to carpets, household goods and even shelving and furniture. I went for the first time last Sunday and have been twice since. They also have a large selection of foreign and domestic fopds and drinks Im hooked on their Swiss Hemp Infused Ice Tea. Will visit again soon.

Always great prices on decent items that are actual quality

The store offers a wide range of items from food to clothes to house improvement and their clothes always suit the season we are in and they also sell carpets, school supplies, pet supplies, bathroom supplies, and light bulbs so that is a big plus. But the ambience is not much movement but the prices are good and the staff is nice enough, so if you like saving money and not near people, then this is the store for you!

Store was well stocked and clean. The staff is great. I might say that about a number of places but to me that is very important. Having staff that knows their store makes for better customer relations. Having inventory makes customers return!

Slowest ocean state job lot that Ive been to. Only 1 register open and line wrapped around 2 rows. 1 person training on service line and was backed up. Plenty of employees on the floor.

Cool place for certain household or seasonal items. Cheap in more ways than one. Overstocked kind of store. When we have it, we have it. In other words, but they cant promise theyll have it next week. If line is more than two people prepare to wait. Cashiers are in no hurry.

Cheaper than others stores

A lot of the merchandise is very well priced, some of the stuff is pricey. Over all I rate 7/10. Will revisit in the future.

Garden/seasonal choices plentiful and good prices. Year-round pots for perennials and tender favs you bring back inside. PlusPLUS every other possible whatchamacallit and thingamajig for the yard/pool/beach you can imagine((and some I NEVER - funFUN)) go on ..get I some!

Fun place to shop. Can get great prices on name brand products that I always use. Sometimes prices arent always lower than can be found in other stores, just need to watch. However, its a blast to see what they have, and their staff is usually really helpful always super nice.

This store is an absolute disaster, and has been for years. Managers on registers, store conditions are that of a cheap 99 cent store, parking lot littered with carts, you can tell on the faces of the employees and by speaking to them that they know they are an afterthought to the company.. they have no support, much of the food is outdated as well..this location should be closed if they cannot figure out how to run it correctly.

Ocean State is a bit of a weird store....but they have a really good assortment of things! Great for home and garden items, dog treats made in the us and spices.
