The experience with Ride-Away was very pleasant. A price break was a nice surprise. They bent backwards to accommodate our appointment schedule. The staff, from secretary to technician, was very friendly, professional, and accommodating in every respect. Provided us with a ride to the nearest mall so that we wont have to spend the day cooped up in the office. At the conclusion, they explained and demonstrated the workings of the device very thoroughly.I definitely recommend them highly.

I recently had to get a power wheelchair. I have a manual wheelchair but I cant propel it up ramps or long distance. I was very anxious about this because I had tried to use a carrier with my Honda. It did not work at all. I called Ride-Away and knew instantly I had called the right place. I was treated professionally and had all my questions answered. They came and picked up my van and brought it back in 1.5 days. I was given a demonstration and tried it myself. I can now go anywhere and I have my independence back. What a blessing the chair and lift are. My only regret is that I did not do this earlier.

This time I have gone to ride-away for preventive maintenance of the left foot accelerator pedal for my car. The job was done quickly and efficiently. These guys are professional. I would recommend Ride-Away to others when they need adaptive driving equipment.

We are very pleased with the overall integrity of our recent transaction with Ride-Away Norristown. Your salesperson Bob McQuade worked hard in finding a vehicle to accommodate my wifes needs while also staying within budget. The Dodge Grand Caravan we purchased is just what we needed, very clean & mechanically fit. I much appreciate the opportunity afforded to us, prior to the sale, in bringing it to our home for her to inspect & be certain she and the wheelchair fit inside. Allowing our mechanic to inspect it before our purchase put our minds at ease. This sales transaction was among the smoothest ever experienced in my many years of car buying. There were no surprise fees, up-charges or pressures in the sale.Congratulations on a honest, well managed dealership!

My experience with Ride-Away was not so good. First of all I had looked around for someone that worked with the VA in putting in a left side gas pedal in my truck. I found Ride-Away and called them and set it up to have it done. Then they called me and said they needed it for a whole day. So we dropped it off and went down the next day to pick it up, as it was done but they charged me $1195.00 to do the job. And I had to pay it cause they told me that the Va has to approve it first. For gods sake I dont have my right leg. So be it known that if you need a left side gas pedal there is a company in Wyomissing that installs it in only 2.5 hours and it is the right way done. and it is only 695.00 for the exact same thing.

My girlfriend Debbie, who does not have a google account, asked me to post this review for her. She has been a Rideaway customer for 15 years, and bought two vans from them. She has MS and uses an adapted van with her mobility scooter. Last week, when the door was not working, she took the van to Rideaway. After waiting almost three hours while they worked on it, the Service manager came out and told her that they put the van on the computer, which showed that the door latch was broken, but that Rieaway could not fix it and she would have to take it to her own mechanic. They charged her $121.90 to diagnose but not fix the problem. She then took the van to her mechanic, who referred me to another mechanic whom sheI had never done business with. He looked at the van briefly and concluded that the latch was NOT the problem. He spent a concentrated half hour working on the van, fixed it, and refused to charge her. When she called the Rideaway store manager to make a complaint, he was rude and refused to refund her money. She told him that they were going to lose a customer. He told her, basically, that he did not care.
