Over $200 wasted for customized hats for my business. All sizes are wrong . No one answers phone at store or Coporate. Been told someone will contact me and nothing. Driven over 100 miles for same excuse
Me and a couple of friends went, i would like to say, yall have the wrong lids.
Never open went twice, not gonna give a third try..
Worst retail experience of my life. The female employee was talking to another female when we walked in. When the girl walked out and returned to her kiosk directly out front of the store, I realized she was not a customer and that it was a personal conversation they were having. My 9 year old son desperately wanted a hat and had his own birthday money to spend. The sales associate must have been irritated that we decided to shop (or interrupt her conversation) because we were not greeted in any way upon entering the store. No hi, hello, welcome, or good afternoon. Not even a smile. The other girl left after we walked in and my son proceeded to look at hats. We were trying to figure out what size he needed and at times I was on my tip toes (I’m short) trying to reach certain hats. Not at any point did the sales associate ask if we needed help, offer any assistance, or even acknowledge our presence even though we were mere inches away from her in the small space of the store (frankly, this made it awkward that we were so close and the only customers in the store and she did not speak). As time passed, I got more and more irritated at her complete disregard of our presence and told my son to put the hats back because we were not buying ANYTHING from this store, as our business and was clearly not desired. This was INTENTIONAL! I’ll end with saying that I will never shop at Lids again and that if I were a business owner I would want to know about my employees receiving paychecks and deliberately ruining my business.
The clerk was not knowledgeable in my request for an embroidery. She had to call someone on the telephone, the person she called (on speaker phone) was very rude. She was wanting to charge me twice for 1 order. This is the second negative experience Ive had with this location. Last year they embroidered an S on to a hat. Instead of it being close to the lower edge of the hat it was almost an inch off the lower edge, completely ruined my hat.
If you have a hat craving, this place is most likely to satisfy it.
Every time I go to a lids I end up mad, however I believe this experience was my worst. I went on 5/4 at around 4:25pm to pick up a shirt I had ordered a little while ago. When I walked into the store the lady working there was behind the counter on the phone (not an issue for me). The issue is that when I walked up to the counter she proceeded to continue her phone conversation, she was even talking about how she was about to close up for her break (where she could easily continue her conversation). While standing at the counter, she made a remark towards my girlfriends drink asking what it was. Finally after standing there for 5 minutes she asked did we need anything. (I stood at the counter the whole time and wasnt looking at anything or walked around the store)
