100% fake human hair... I applied bleach on the top because the color was to dark for me, so to my surprise the only part of human hair is on the front (you can see it in red) I paid for it 125$ and went to the store but they didnt help me at all so I going to contact bureau of consumer protection... be careful girls of what you are buying. If for me 0 stars.

Ive been going here for a few years. I had a visit where my debit card didnt work so I switch it to use another one. Come to find out the money was taken out of the account so the cashier told me the money will be back in my account in a few days and that I should hold on to the receipt just in case. I waited a few days and didnt need anything so I did forget about it. When I needed something again it was about a month then I remembered that I never saw the money in my account. I found my receipt and just wanted credit for the $7 that never went back to my card. I didnt want money back just credit towards the $18 I was spending that day. Immediately when the cashiers explained to the owner why I was asking for the credit while I stood there with the receipt, he started speaking Im his language and saying no I could not get the credit because it was too long. The cashier very professionally pleaded ny case for me until he gave in. Even if he didnt give me the $7 back I was still disgusted by his behavior towards me for my $7 that their machine took. His whole reaction was un called for and absolutely unnecessary. He made a scene for no reason. Such a disappointing experience after all those years. Bye Joy Joy.

Joy Joy Beauty has a nice selection of wigs. However, they were overpriced. There is no reason that a synthetic wig should cost more than $40. I also felt followed as I shopped; the store has a huge tv with split screens to detect shoplifting so I’m not sure why I was followed. My overall experience here was fair.

They had the face sponge I wanted, and the hair color I needed.

Found everything I needed and still reasonably priced.

I bought some razac lotion from this location a few days ago. I have been using razac lotion for over 20 years now, my mother used it, my grandmother used it. So I was extremely disappointed to buy razac lotion from this location and the fragrance was definitely diluted with another lotion. The color was lighter than the original color and there was no seal on the bottle before I used it I’m just really disappointed. Please on the look out for this supply store if they are diluting products

Joy Joy Beauty is clean and not too junky. They have a really large variety of hair and beauty products. Mostly Asian staff, so of course you have to know what you want as they arent much help. There is one Black woman that works and shes really helpful. Prices run along the same line as most beauty supply stores. I usually find what I want...wigs, braiding hair, all other sorts of hair; hair products and other novelty products.

They have good prices but I felt very uncomfortable with a lady watching me like a hawk next to me, even when I told her I didnt need help with anything. They thought I was gonna steal but I guess thats normal because of the area they are in. The nice young gentleman at the register was the only reason I gave 3 stars and not 1.

I went here to buy hair in June 16th and I paid a pretty penny for the hair I bought. My hair stylist told me this as the cheapest place around for the bundle of hair. So, although the lady was willing to help I don’t like going into any store being watched and then when it’s time to checkout you take the hair up to the front like I’m going to steal it. I can “buy” anything in your store that I want. I guess one person messes it up for the rest of the customers...on another note, huge store with a big selection.

This store needs a better loss prevention alarm system. The machine beeps even if you come INTO the store. I had been coming to this beauty supply store for years. Usually, when I leave and if the alarm goes off the clerks simply ask for my bag and swipe it on a device to make sure it doesnt beep. On this particular day the alarm beeps and the clerk takes my bag and my purse and instead of just swiping my items on the device. This female checks my purse like she work for T.S.A. (she was literally elbow deep in my purse) I had to check and make sure I was at the beauty supply store and not at the airport. Of course, she found nothing...and the damn machine STILL went off. Do better JOY JOY...

This my store right here! They have mostly the best prices on their items. I always get my daughters hair, jewlry, Barretts, head band etc. from here. A lot of $1 items. Very affordable too.

The young girl who works the register not friendly she wears gloves so she cant touch your hands which is ridiculous thats why they have hand sanitizer

The mature African-American women that is very knowledgeable about the wigs was unhelpful and I felt as though I was in her way. My second time buying a wig was horrible because of her, whom mind you came highly recommended. Not impressed. Ill go back to Ace wigs of Holland Rd. for excellent customer service and knowledge about wigs and the products sold there for a less expensive price.

I love the selections. I dont like that we have to ask for a wig to look at instead of being able to just walk up to it. But its still a nice place. Its just time consuming to have to ask for every wig.

I was visiting the area and forgot my hair sponge and was leaving CosmoProf on my way to Richway Beauty Center because they didn’t have what I was searching for. When I first saw this beauty store it was by pure accident, It was in the cut in a plaza and honestly didn’t come up in my online beauty store search. We made a u-turn and I was glad that I did because not only did I find my hair sponge but it came with a pin and they had 99€ fashion earrings. I met some previous shoppers who loved my hair and style of earrings😊I give 4 stars because there is stuff everywhere and my impressions is that many items do appear cheap. This may be a store where you get what you pay for.

Joy Joy is the go to place for most of your beauty supply needs. The prices are comparable with the area and actually BETTER than most. There is a large supply of weave, wigs, and accessories which keeps the line out the door. If there is an item they dont have you only need to ask and often they have either ALREADY ordered or they will make more of whats in demand/current and check into it. Ive yet to visit this location and the store isnt packed on any given day of the week!! The workers have built a repoir with customers as you see when entering the doors. Great place to shop and customers help each other out with selections as well...lol! This is a biweekly stop for myself and friends. Enjoy.
