This place has a wide variety of products for primarily African hair types.Ive used several products and all have been safe and havent damaged my hair in any way.There is also options in several weaves, beard care, hair styling supplies, protective coverings, and bathing materials.This spot is really good, with hair care for women and men alike, and locally made products and promotions.And to top it off, its black owned. I highly recommend giving this place a gander. Im no expert in the standards associated for hair care retailers, but this place is nothing less than amazing. And oasis in a desert if you will.

This Blessed Roots Beauty Supply is the BEST!!! I wanted to shop but unfortunately I dont live in VA. However, that didnt stop anything. I reached out and the beautiful owner helped me shop through video and she took her time with helping me to under my hair type, texture, and picking out my products. I received my package in record time and was blown away by the products recieved. I DEFINITELY Recommend this hot spot 😉😉😉. I Love it!!!

Nice beauty supply store. Ive come in a couple times and asked if they had a certain item they told me no but the next time I came in they had the item. Thats what I like thats good customer service to me. They didnt have it then but they made sure to get it because a customer asked about it.

Really nice store but seems as though the owner has an attitude anytime I walk in she doesn’t really speak or bother to see if you need any help they don’t even have the basic things you would find in the regular Beauty supply it’s like having peanut butter but no jelly they have only a few select items. I would still have to leave and go to another hair store to find what should be in that one

UPDATE: I loved this place. I love that it’s black owned! I loved that majority of the products are for natural hair and have no hash chemicals. Nikki (owner) was very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful!Original: Giving 3 stars for now cause it looks good from the outside. Waited outside the establishment for it to open at 9:00am like google, and their door said they would. 10 after I called to see when they would open and was told 10:00am. A little disappointed, but I really want to try this store out so I’ll return at 10, and update my review based on my rerun.
