I have found them to be thorough and responsive to my automotive repair needs... AND reasonably priced. I dont take that lightly and appreciate their services

Communication wasn’t the best. Twice they’ve been hours late with the time frame they promised and no call.Also with tire changes I apparently opted in and out of warranties that were not mentioned to me. And the final price was higher than the quote.It’s not all bad, but if the communication got better I would be happier with the service.

Apparently when you go in for state inspection, if your car is fine, it will need a headlight adjustment, so expect to pay $42 more.

I went to Tire Choice to get my tires rotated and balanced. They were so quick, so kind, professional, and friendly, and charged me a very reasonable rate. They were running a special on rotating and balancing tires so it was a good deal for me. I will be going back there as I know their prices are honest.

I recently moved to the area and have had bad experiences with tires in the past 6 weeks - flats, leaks. Someone recommended this place to me and I’ve come back each time( except once when I was stranded 15 miles away). They gave great customer service and I trust them. I highly recommend!!

I had new complete tires put on. The fool forgot to put on my hub centric rings. I have bad wobble any speed above 35.

I brought my car in for an oil change and inspection. The establishment called a few hours later and recommended I also do a brake flush, new tire, and alignment. So this oil change is now up to $400. After paying and leaving, the check engine light was now on, and there were zero issues when I dropped the car. As I continued to drive, my car was shuttering and barely accelerating, and when I reached home my car would not even reverse. I brought my car back to Tire Choice to understand how I brought in a working car, paid $400, and left with a completely non-functioning car. The technician and manager told us it was not their responsibility and to contact Ford. The staff was apathetic about this huge mistake and inconvenience, and now the car needs approximately $3700 in repairs due to Norfolk Tire Choice. Please please please save yourself the stress and anxiety of this establishment.

Sales clerks not attendants are at the service desk with the sole purpose of steering you towards unnecessary purchases. A 29$ oil change somehow became 45$ after a 10$ fee was deducted. Plus highly recommended rear brakes and alignment, yet no complimentary fluid fills during the free check. My advice is to be aware of your cars needs and service what you have budgeted for and dont be persuaded by auto shop jargon to make you believe your vehicle will absolutely fall apart the moment you leave the shop.

Went in to get an oil change and a set of tires. I was told that my car would be done by midmorning. There was no discussion on what tires to put on my car other than i will call you about the tires.At 11 I called to see how much longer it was going to be because i never heard anything about the tires. I was told another hour and a half then given a quote on how much everything was going to be (roughly 400).I asked the tech where he got this number from because we never discussed what tires to put on the car. He said that was his fault which i agreed with him.I told the tech that since they hadnt started on my oil change that I just wanted to pick up my car and dont put the tires on. I went up to the shop to get my car but couldnt because they had already taken 1 tire off and they couldnt put it back on. They also said they had already drained my oil.Unfortunately I had pay a $100 for a bottom line tire that is going to be replaced immediately and an oil change because they thought they could just slap whatever on my car and I would just pay for it.Absolute trash.

My 2002 Honda Civic lost power a month ago. Had the battery and alternator changed out here. I came back within a week as I began having random electrical problems. I was told that I had an underlying electrical problem and referred me to a local diagnostic shop that was a 5 day wait. I drive a lot for work so I decided to just try my luck with all my dash lights on. 3 weeks later I lost power again and needed jumped. Fried the battery and alternator. I called up Dean who referred me to a sister shop on Arthur Way in Newport News. They fixed my car in a couple days. I want to express how professional the whole process was and how thankful I am to Dean and those at this shop for actively communicating with the NN shop. Highly recommend!

Fysa, appointments for VA state inspections are not possible here. Unfortunately, this is not clearly stated on the website. It is first come first serve basis but state inspectors do not actually arrive until 0830 to 0900.Nevertheless, I was still permitted to schedule an appt for first thing in the morning on the website using the online appt request feature, I noted in the text box that my appt was for a state inspection and the following morning my appt was confirmed presumably by the store. Communicated to manager, Chris, that it would be helpful if these details are clearly listed on the website. However, my concerns were dismissed and I was advised only corporate has ability to edit the website.It would be appreciated if you could curb your attitude and in the future let the customer know, Hey, that seems like a lapse in communication that sets customers up for false expectations. Let me forward that feedback to my supervisors in corporate so they can look into it. Professionalism and empathy goes a long way in building customer relations.Fortunately the state inspection went smooth only taking 10mins. But, given the wasted time I will not be returning.

Arrived to the shop 12:30pm. Told the mechanic to put brake pads around the car. I sat there for 3hrs. The mechanic came back to me stating: you need pads all around. AYFS. Bring my car down & give me my keys - NOW.

I love this place!! Dean is the best. He is very informative and isn’t trying to get you to break the bank with necessary auto repairs. He even looked and applied coupons to help with the cost. Their establishment is always clean they wear masks and they had my car ready quickly and I was a walk-in. I won’t go anywhere else!!

They did my husbands oil change...they did a good job and they told him other things that was wrong with his truck.

This is the best auto shop I have been to. The customer service here is A1. I usually set an appointment and its no waiting when I get there. My vehicle never takes long and I always receive a courtesy call when theyre almost done. Since Ive started coming to Tire Choice, I refuse to go anywhere else.

They got me in quick and relaxed my tire in record time. I love this place!

I have used this shop a couple times and I have zero complaints. Friendly staff, prices are reasonable and work is done efficiently. Kelsey helped me today and everything was a breeze for getting a tire patched quickly.

Came here for a synthetic oil change and a complimentary tire rotation using a coupon, everything was $65+. Left the car for them to take their time. I was notified to pick up the car and the tire rotation was not done. I stayed another 30min to get that done... what’s more frustrating is that they would not even apologize. I know about cars, and I know if some stuff have been fixed or not. I leave it up to you if you can trust the reputation of the company or not. They may have forgotten to do the tire rotation service or they just lied about it (because It appeared in the receipt).I question this company.. watch out.

These guys are a class act! Called at 4:45...mind you 15 minutes before their inspector is done for the day. They said bring it in, found out we had a few minor issues with the brakes. Took care of it, fast and affordable! Come here and they will absolutely take care of you!

I had a flat tire, and was told by the neighboring tire shop they wouldn’t service me unless I purchased a repair kit. Which I would’ve if i didn’t already have one at home( my partner is a master mechanic) I only needed enough air to get home. I pulled into tire choice, and the guy at the front desk helped me without hesitation.

ALWAYS AMAZING SERVICE!!! Regardless of whatever city I’m in this is the location I got to. The people are amazing. Very helpful. Very knowledgeable. I never feel like I’m being cheated or talked down to or disregarded because I’m a woman. I always make sure to grab a coffee or tea for them when I come because they’ve saved me so many times. Always a great deal on tires and service. They’ll let you know if you need something fixed right away or if you have some time to. The waiting area and bathroom is always clean also.

I had a 9am appointment for an oil change. When I walked in no one was at the desk. When the person came out they asked irrelevant questions. She also kept taking her masks off. It took them 30 minutes to even move my car, and over an hour for the change to be complete. I didn’t walk out until 1045. Slow service, would recommend a speedier place for an oil change. The only reason I came here was I had a coupon.

I woke up this morning to a semi-flat tire with a screw in the main body and a pressing job to take care of at work. I’m so glad that I stumbled upon this Tread Quarters location. The crew at the front desk was extremely pleasant and made my experience here absolutely seamless. I was in and out with a brand new tire in less than 30 minutes. During my visit, I was informed that I will also need to replace another one of my tires in the next few weeks and I will without a doubt come back here to get it done. Super and awesome customer service at its best!!! Dean and all of the staff at the Monticello Ave. store in Norfolk Va.are the absolute best. They made sure the my daughters breaks were changed professionally and in a timely manner.They even went as far as giving her a ride home while her car was being worked on in order for her to make it to work on time.We are customers for life.

This is always my go to place. From the time you walk in to the time you leave everyone is very pleasant. Tyler has always been very professional and makes sure he gets me in and out within a reasonable time.

I came in for a simple oil change and so many other problems happened because of my visit here! Whoever screwed in the bottom panel under my car after finishing the oil change somehow stripped the plastic that the screw was supposed to screw into, so the screws were loose (though I didn’t know it at the time), and the next day, 2 of the screws came out while I was driving...one of which popped my back tire, then the next day the other 2 fell out and my panel was dragging on the ground because there was nothing left holding it up on the front. We had to use zip ties to keep the panel up until I could get home and have my husband fix it, but overall I had to spend way too much money and time fixing problems that you guys caused. I will not be bringing my car here again for any kind of service, and I definitely do not recommend it to others!!

I have had multiple wonderful experiences here for inspections, oil changes and tire problems. The staff is always wonderful, polite and helpful. Chris always explains to me the details of what is going on with my car, I really appreciate that. I highly recommend this Tread Quarters.

I love how honest and welcoming the people make you feel her. Normally when a woman goes to get her car fixed at a shop they try ripping her off, but there was a gentleman named Robbie who was so nice and helpful. He explained everything in detail to me and advised me on what work I should have done. I felt so comfortable and I will be recommending many of my family members and friends here. Also they do GREAT WORK!!!

Although my tire was tested, it was losing air and the technician was asked by Kelsey to recheck the valve stem. She found the problem going beyond the the normal testing. Thank goodness for her.

I’ve been going to this tread quarters since I first came to Norfolk for school (ODU) and they are extremely helpful and so kind. They tell you exactly what you need and tell you straight up about prices and everything. I love it. College students, this is the place where you want to go for tire changes, oil changes etc. They are very affordable and they really work with your budget. They even send coupons for cheaper prices if you’re a college student. It’s so great and helpful I love it.

These guys are incredible. The entire staff went above and beyond to assist me. They were knowledgeable and educated me on the work that actually needed to be done which helped me to make the best decision with the repairs. Even during all of this madness out there, they were warm, friendly and welcoming. On top of that, they even kept me updated on the status of my repairs and I didnt have to worry about reaching out to them. Id give them more stars if I could.

The staff is cool. Dean and Shawn had excellent customer service. I take my pickup as well my children vehicles here for minor repairs and proper automotive maintenance. You simply cannot go wrong. My inspector Jay is prompt and precise.The work there is always on point plus they not gon keep ya car or truck all day.

Shawn was very friendly and made a very stressful situation a bit less stressful. Shawn worked with me to give me the best deal since I was on a budget. He really did his best to sympathize with the financial struggle of car maintenance on top of other responsibilities. He also made sure to inform me about the procedures and about my own car. This was my second visit to this location this year and both times I was impressed by the service.

Nice location, located near a couple fast food restaurants, a gym, a coffee shop and a thrift shop. Friendly and knowledgeable upfront staff. Clean restroom. My only complaint was when I my inspection was completed, there was oil or grease on my steering wheel and the outside of my door. I called the store to let them know, he immediately apologized and offered to clean it if I brought my vehicle back.

Friendly staff, great service. They were the only place Ill be going to moving forward. They were the only place willing to inspect my motorcycle on the first of the month, in the afternoon. Having worked in the industry, Im aware how busy a time this can be for inspections, so I was surprised they were able to get to me so quickly. Well done.

We came here for years and previously had awesome experiences with Steven, he recently left and this last visit we had Shawn who also did a fantastic job especially with keeping us updated on our vehicle status. The guys had us out really fast and this is probably one of the first times I’ve ever had a state inspection that didn’t require anything to pass. Good honest work by good honest people.

Took my vehicle in thinking I needed just a patch for a tire. Needed 2 new tires. Sean helped me out by finding better tires then I had, for less. Needed to order from warehouse and installed on Monday. Was in and out in 1 hr. Have always had great service at this location.

My tires were literally about to go flat so I pulled into tread quarter parking lot immediately in hopes of someone being able to assist me . Mr Jay was super friendly and accommodated me in a very professional manner . 10 outta ten ! Highly recommend : )

I brought my daughters car here because she was told by Toyota that she needed new front breaks. Steven and Jay were great. They took us in to look at the break pads on the car and they told us they did not need to be changed. They cleaned the rear breaks and got us on our way.I brought my husbands truck here yesterday to have the battery changed after it was sitting for over a year after he had a stroke. They did a quick and wonderful job and i was in and out once again. This morning Im am back to get the state inspection on his truck. They took it back quickly and are working on it now. Michael was a joy! Steve, Jay, and Michael are the best with there excellent customer service!!! I will be bringing my SUV back to change the breaks. Tread Quarters is now my familys go to mechanics!

I have been taking my vehicles to this location for about 5 years. Every time they have been courteous and quick with their service.This most recent visit was no different. I was moving out of state the next day and I got wrapped up with everything else going on that I had forgotten to take my truck in to have an alignment done and a new set of tires installed.I called them at 4PM on a Saturday and they were able to take my truck the same day! During the alignment and wheel change, they pointed out that my front brakes were low and showed me what they looked like (they were very worn out). Even though they were close to closing time, they stayed late to make sure I was good to go for my trip the following day.These guys dont try to push unnecessary work on your car, at all. One time, I had taken my wifes car in convinced that it needed new front brakes and was fully prepared to pay for a new set. When I dropped it off, I told them it needed new brakes. They called me back a couple of hours later and they told me the brakes were fine. Any less reputable establishment wouldve just did what I asked and charged me for it and I wouldnt have known otherwise.I hope I can find another place as half as good as these guys at my new place!

We walked in same day for an oil change and they did everything they could to get us in. The man at the front, James, was very kind to us, beyond helpful, and super fun to chat with. Great staff, great service, and prices that you really cant beat. We will definitely be going back.

Tread quarters has been dependable for me for a long time. I’ve had four different vehicles worked on there over the years, two cars, an suv and a pickup. They have always stood behind their work and when they misdiagnosed a job and installed a new fuel pump, they didn’t charge me for and helped me get the truck towed to the dealership. The managers Sean and Rob are great with customers as well.

Had a flat tire on the way to work set up and appointment online for later in the day. I got off early and went by the shop to see if they could get me in early. When I got there they were super busy. I didn’t think they would get me in early. I got to the counter and they were able to take me early and got me out in about an hour. Awesome experience I would definitely go there again for a tire or tires. Highly recommend!

10/10 recommend! I had a hole in my tire the day before I had to drive across country. Even though they were packed and honestly could have turned me away they made the time and then checked my whole car to insure it was good!

I have had consistently good experiences with this Tread Quarters location. Just got the oil changed on my Ford Expedition today, but have also bought tires, repaired tires, and done other mechanical work. I also get advice on other maintenance work that needs to be done in the near future, but never a hard pressure sell to commit to the work immediately. Keep up the good work.

I called this morning and was answered with a friendly, helpful voice saying I could bring my truck right in. The service was performed quickly and I was treated respectfully over the phone and in person. The front desk staff was attentive and the price seemed reasonable. I will be coming back in the future.

Jay and Steve are awesome!I called prior to my visit to get an estimate of services and prices. I got exactly what we discussed. Steve remembered our phone conversation vividly.
