Youll find out very quickly why this place has its name.Long review: Around this area, its very competitive and very hard to find a reliable mechanic to trust with making the right decisions for your car with many nebulous fees attached to tasks you didnt need, but it seems its the exact opposite here. A perfect example of this is:I took my car here to get my normal 60k mile maintenance that Ive been putting off for a while and it was done in a very timely manner. Ive had this dent in the back of my bumper for more than 5 years that Ive been too stubborn to fix and felt like it wasnt a necessary thing to pay for. Every time Ive brought my car to get an oil change/inspection, Ive always gotten a call along the lines of Hey, i can pop this dent out of your bumper for 80 bucks. Want me to go ahead and do it? Ive declined every time. I went to pick up my car a day later, go grab something to eat after picking up my car, and almost didnt recognize my car after coming out of the restaurant because the dent was gone! He fixed it without charging me or even telling me about it. Not only did my car feel like it was my first time driving it off of the dealership lot (much needed TLC), the iconic dent I had has finally been fixed. Definitely taking my car here from now on, and I recommend that you do as well.If you want that Im just gonna let my car friend fix it experience, take it to Jason.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? They are an awesome auto shop! When I moved I was worried about finding a new auto shop since some other shops have been known to not be *as nice*. I was pleasantly surprised when I found Nice Guy! The mechanics and front desk staff are so nice. They explain things and I have never felt like they are trying to rip us off. The prices are fair for the work/cost of parts. I would totally recommend giving them a try next time you are in need of some work on your car!

Jason and his staff are great! They are all helpful. Great work with reasonable prices! Very flexible with getting work done and worked with me to use my own parts. Keeping a 28 year old car running when parts are hard to find make a shop like this a great find. The work I have had done ranged from timing belt with a water pump to basic oil change. Unfortunately I upgraded one of my vehicles to a 2500 and they cannot work on it....yet. Hopefully they can in the near future.

Wow! I am so impressed with everyone at this shop. They worked a miracle on my A/C and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg to do it! I will keep bringing my car to Nice Guys. They really are nice! Despite my a/c being very problematic and requiring more than one visit, multiple parts and several repairs, they didn’t give up on it. And most of all, it was affordable! Thank you!!

This was my first time taking my car here, which was nerve wracking as you never know what hidden fees or costs a repair shop may add. I have been going through a rough time so i was hoping my repair wouldn’t be expensive, and it wasn’t at all ! I chose this place based off of previous reviews that mentioned great service and great prices and it is 100% true ! 10/10 reccommend !

Definitely not a place to go to with Classic Vehicles. Some female answer the phone ( 9/15/21 around 4pm ) saying they don’t mess with any classic cars which is ridiculous. I called to just get a quoted of how much my front input shaft O ring Seal would be to be replace for a new one for my rebuilt restored 1984 C10 and every shop gave me a price and a day to do it however, I got this response from them. All they had to do was drop the transmission and take off the flywheel, torque converter, and they would be right there at the shaft to switch it out real fast … not a big deal but I end up going to AAMCO Transmissions and they did a amazing job switching the O ring and called me advising for me to change all the seals and gaskets while the transmission was down. Glad I didn’t come to this business. Highly advise AAMCO !!! A little bit pricey too, but literally took them day to take it off and work on it. Then, the next day to put it on your vehicle and test drive to make sure everything is fine and not leaking. 700 something is what they charge me plus tax.

They did a pre- purchase inspection and Rodney was great at explaining while I was there. I called back to speak with him and he wasn’t available and he never returned my call. I believe the receptionist didn’t give him the message. She was rude. Rodney A+!

They did my 1992 400se Benz transmission installation Very friendly and professional and fast. Gave them a shot and they came through

The staff was pleasant a prompt. I arrived on time and they started work on my car quickly. I was in and out within a reasonable timeframe. Parking is a bit iffy, but they clearly do their best to make it work. Jason, the owner was incredibly Nice. The place deserves the name.

What a great find! I cannot express enough to you my satisfaction with my car repair. I am from out of state and their kind, professional, prompt service, made my experience stress free. To make it better, I go to pick up my car and am prepared to pay the estimate price that they gave me....and it was 1/3 less! Who does that! God Bless this place and all their workers!

Husband decided to try this place out after getting scammed by firestone. They are very honest & fairly priced. Unlike other mechanics, they didnt knit pick on all kinds of little things that should be fixed and just did what was asked. Definitely would recommend this place over the others in the area.

Jason and Morgan live up to the name of their business. The prices are always manageable, their staff is always friendly. I’ve gone to them several times for my problem baby and every time I’ve left a satisfied customer. They are the most honest mechanics I’ve ever seen and it’s always great to do business with them. I will not go anywhere else as long as I’m in Virginia hands down!!!!

Chose this place because of the great reviews. Our AC went out, and my husband made sure to mention the make and model and reiterate that it was an electric hybrid on the phone. Jason was very nice and assured us that was fine and to bring it in the next morning. Shortly after we dropped it off, they called and said that since it was an EV, there was nothing they could do. We were charged $60 to get it back. It just feels very dishonest to encourage us to bring in a car that they would likely not be able to fix without at least some sort of disclaimer. Definitely not impressed.

This shop has a scam going on do not take your car for service they are going to try to make you think that you need to pay $132 electrical diagnostics on top of your regular service

Can’t give five stars because the truck is still sitting.drove me home after “a new clutch install” but wasn’t any better...beleive me that wasn’t all that was wrong with it.lol.granted..very honest.and told me up front about the severity of my problem,amongst some others that were contributing to the overall shittiness .still gave me a decent price and did me a favor,also was more than reasonable when it came to patience.i was in a bind and had to make payments to get it back.not every shop these days will do that..smart mechanics trying to make it happen and would highly recommend them to anyone for honest opinion/work in a quick and timely manner.Thanks again Jason.

Jason is an honest mechanic. He lets you bring in parts and only charges labor. Even when an additional part was needed to fix my AC, he only charges me his original quote for labor.

These guys Jason & Jon Jon are cool af! They got me rolling again and Jason shown me where the leak was coming from as well as showing me how to fix it myself. He wasnt pushing for this or that.
