Not an organization that I will be doing more business with. My family has bought multiple cars and spent thousands on repairs at A&J Automotive, LLC. We have bought a 2006 Chevy Impala, and a 2011 Volkswagen CC from the owner’s small car lot and have been doing business here with A&J Automotive since about November of 2019. I took one of my vehicles, a 1995 Toyota 4Runner, here to be repaired and paid the bill ($684.67 total) over the phone as soon as I was informed the repairs were completed, about a month or two later. When the vehicle was picked up, it still had many of the issues I paid to have fixed, so we returned the vehicle to the business since they supposedly have a 36 month 36,000 mile coast-to-coast nationwide warranty on the parts and labor of the repairs. A few weeks later I received a text that they could not figure out the source of some of the issues, so I returned to retrieve the vehicle. I politely explained that since some of the issues mentioned in the invoice were not resolved and that they have a warranty on them, that they should be refunded. The issues in question totaled $159.90 of the invoice. After explaining this the owner grabbed the keys and slammed them down in front of my poor mother and I and demanded that we leave in a furious voice. When trying to leave the property, the vehicle would not start (a supposed fuel issue that was part of the requested repairs) and one of the mechanics at the shop had to come out to get it to run so we could leave. Also, the Volkswagen CC that we purchased from the business has had nearly double its original price spent in repairs in the short few months our family has owned it. Certainly not a way for any business to treat long-term customers.
