Amanda and Ryan in collision are AMAZING!! I had an accident and we went there. Now, it took a while to get parts BUT that was not on their end. I think everyone knows these days how long it is taking to get things you order in. I even called on my own to other parts places just to see if they had the parts needed and NONE of them did and apparently were waiting on the same few parts. What I can say is that either Ryan or Amanda were in constant contact with us giving us updates. Always both were kind and professional. Due to parts shortage, I am still waiting on 2 small pieces that are cosmetic. These guys knew how badly I needed the vehicle back and, I feel, went out of their way to get it accomplished so I could pickup and use car until those parts came in. When I picked up our vehicle Ryan gave me the time and courtesy of going thru what was fixed on my vehicle and answered all questions. Amanda had my paperwork ready with the requests I had made when I went in to pick up the vehicle. All around I am very happy with the service I received.And for all of you “negative Nancy” types, I promise that if I do not continue to get the same service when my last 2 parts come in, I will be happy to update my post. Something tells me I will not have to:) Thank you Amanda and Ryan again, having an accident and being without a car sucks but you guys made it a lot easier.

Karen was a GEM to work with. Extremely professional, accommodating and exudes high quality customer service. I have an injured knee and she helped me get my daughter safely in the car, dropped off my key for rental car, and got my insurance to extend my benefits when I needed the rental a tad bit longer. She updated me several times during the course of repairs.I can’t thank her enough!!! Karen you are amazing!

I brought my car in because I was hit on the interstate. They said it would take 3 days to fix my rear bumper but dropped it off Monday morning and get a call Tuesday evening saying it was ready. They did a great job and you can’t even tell anything happened! Plus it has a lifetime guarantee! On top of the quick service and great job they also washed my car, put tire shine on my tires, vacuumed it out, and wiped it down. Which believe me that car needed it bad! I was so grateful for the quick work they did and the added bonus of getting my car back cleaner than when I dropped it off! Thank you guys! I hope I won’t ever need you again but if I do I know I’ll be in good hands!

Took my daughters car here for repairs after being rear ended. They were very polite and helpful throughout the whole process from the estimate to me picking up my vehicle at the end. Ryan ensured I left satisfied. When I drove up I saw brown sugar my daughters name for her car looking clean and shinny. They exceeded my expectations with the interior vacuum and car wash. If Im trying to explain something to you about a vehicle you should listen to the customer not over talk to them2. If you send me a texting youre going to follow up with me and emails and dont get back to me for a week because youre on vacation you should have your assignments pushed off to someone else to reply to the customer when they have concern3. When I come to pick up a vehicle and I tell you that the work thats done on the vehicle is incorrect in your responses get it fixed and send us a bill that doesnt make me happy at all4. When you make the customer run around to figure out everything for the car because its your vehicle but that person doesnt want to do their job.honestly Im looking at the reviews thing seems nice but let’s just say the only positive thing outcome from this is the bodywork was actually decent the only problem is the simple film that was supposed to be replace on the car is a 600 hour film which now looks horrible on my hood and their response they just ignore my emails! Not only do they ignore my emails and have not cut me a check for the damage is done the insurance company that they partner with does the same thing good luck. I brought my computer and sat in the internet access waiting area. They changed my oil and checked my brakes. I was visited by my sales person, Josh F. while waiting. He just wanted to check that I was satisfied with the service I received and with my vehicle. Amy Munden was my service advisor, and she did a great job making sure everything was taken care of properly. She went above and beyond the call of duty, just like Josh continues to do.

I used this place through my insurances collision repair shop. My caris shown below. I dropped my car off early morning 11/24/20. The estimator said he would email my estimate report 11/25/20 and also give me a call. I did not receive any communication. Because of Thanksgiving, I gave them a call 11/27/20 and I was told that the estimator sent my report to a random email address that I did not give them. This report includes all of my personal information (name, address, number, VIN number, insurance details) and they carelessly sent it to a random email address. They apologized but could not give me a reason as to why this happened. Fast forward to 12/09/20 where my estimated completion and pickup date was. The morning of, I get a call from my estimator saying that he did not realize ordering my headlight would not come with the bracket. Therefore, I needed to wait until 12/11/20 to see if the part would come in. Today (12/11/20), I get another call saying that my car might be done today but they are unsure. It was not until 5:30pm where I get a call saying my car is ready, but the shop is closed and can not be picked up until Saturday. However, I have had a trip planned a while ago so I will not be here for the next 10 days.I am extremely displeased and unsatisfied with the professionalism of this company. My estimator clearly displayed a lack of knowledge with handling client information and ordering car parts. My total wait time for my car was 18 days.

My Chevy was rear ended by someone who didn’t even slow down while I was sitting at a red light. Luckily I was able to have my vehicle towed to Rick Hendrick Chevrolet for repairs, which is where I bought it. I was immediately greeted by Ryan Rice in the Collision Center. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and straightforward about my vehicle. He immediately calmed my fears, and followed through with everything he promised. He helped me get into a rental and had my vehicle back to me within a week. Ryan made this as convenient and painless as possible for me. I swear my Chevy ran and looked better after Ryan and his team were finished. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who needs repairs!

Good morning Michael, I was very pleased with my service at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet. Tiffany worked with me step by step through the entire process. She helped ease my worry with making phone calls to touch base with me and I truly appreciated that. When my vehicle Keith was ready she assured he was properly sanitized and ready to go. I even received parting gifts; that shocked me as well. I love the way my vehicle looks, I was extremely pleased with the work that was done on the body of Keith. He is a man of his word who provided me with documentation of the repairs being done on my car. I received my car looking brand new inside and out! Not only did he repair my bumper but he ensured the underlying issue of my blind spot monitor was still in excellent condition. They provided me with lifetime warranty at the end of it all.

The worst way to gain my business is to give a quote for a job for a vehicle then within that same period just say total loss slightly above the insurances just enough to make it questionable. Then following that, to call not even hours later after they remove said vehicle to be taken care of by the insurance, to say hey, do you wanna buy a car? Dirty.

I got my car fixed after a rear end collision. Had my lift gate, bumper, exhaust system, and some inner trunk lining replaced. The paint work was matched perfectly and looked brand new. I was going to say my truck looks way better after they were done than it did before it went in but thats kind of the point. What I mean is that they seemed to have gone above and beyond to make the repair blend in with the rest of the truck. Its as if they polished the whole thing even though there was only minor fender damage. Fantastic work!! Oh yeah, and it was done in less that 4 days.

I took my car to this Rick Hendricks shop back in January for repairs to be done after an accident. One of the receptionists was extremely rude to me more than once on the phone, and I was promised my car three different times to be told it still wasn’t ready. One of the mechanics “dropped a tool on my bumper and scratched it” (or so they say that’s what happened) and that my bumper had to be repainted. That was the first excuse as to why it took more than double the amount of time I was told my repairs would take. When I called to confirm it was ready the third time I was told it would be, it still wasn’t. I finally went up to the shop, to which they said it was taking “longer than normal” to charge the AC after the new condenser was installed in the car. I sat in the shop for another 2 hours and was finally given my car. Four months later, I’m at the VB location having it worked on again because my AC isn’t blowing nearly as cold as it should be, and was just informed there was no Freon in it at all. IF you have to take your vehicle to any Rick Hendricks location, I would suggest the VB location. Much friendlier, much more trustworthy. They actually know what they’re doing.

Had my car door repaired, and when I showed up to get my car no one came out for us to look at it together. Glad that I checked because my complete paint job was not complete. They apparently forgot to sand the bottom of the door. This should have been done. I believe in second chances but this is the last time I will give this place my business. I had to set up another appointment and reschedule my day. This is not a good place to bring your car

I was extremely skeptical bringing my car here after we hit a deer, but I had an amazing experience here. It took barely over two weeks for everything to be fixed which is not long at all given how much damage was caused. I was called regularly with updates even though they refused to accept that it was *my* car, not my husbands I can get over that since they did a very good job on my car and called to update at all.

Cheevon the sales lady was awesome but the finance team is horrible. They approved us twice and promised the car delivery for the new car due to all the confusion the caused and still never received the car . Then the finance team called us after my husband and I pulled out the deal he said we were approved the third time and still didnt produce.Will never go back again. Communication is not good. But our sales lady Cheevon was great!

They are AWESOME! I dropped my car off to the collision center to get the bumper fixed after a hit and run and I went to pick it up and an old man backed into me and took off... obviously not their fault and they didnt have to do anything about it but the manager went ahead and had them buff the scratches out for me and made my day a hell of alot better.. So thank you guys for that!!! Hopefully I dont have anything else happen to it but if I do I will definitely be taking it back there!!!

My wife was in an accident several hundred miles away from home. Our insurance company has a partnership here, so this is where we had them take our car. There was good and bad, Ill start with the good.The work they did is good. $5k in damage to the car and it almost looks like a new car again. I cant fault their work at all.Now for the bad. They are terrible communicators. Keep in mind we live several hundred miles away, and that the repairs were an estimate of a month to complete. A month after they had the car, we called to see how it was going and they were waiting for authorization. Hadnt touched the car. They didnt leave a message, didnt email us, didnt call 2 of the 3 phone numbers they had for us.After that, they started working on the car and eventually texted us a message that the car will be done on Friday, well let you know if anything comes up (parapgrased). We schedule a trip to head down and see family in the area and pickup the car...Which was not done yet. Were told in person just needs painting, well get it on the rack Monday or Tuesday, absolutely ready next weekend.I cant head back down again, but my wife bought a train ticket. We call on Wednesday to make sure it got done and thank God we had, because once again, not touched yet. After complaining about the communication they mustve got it painted same day.Basically... Dont trust them to tell you anything. Call them if you use them. We almost wasted 2 several hundred mile trips to pick up our car because they lied to us about us state of completion.

My entire experience with this place had been infuriating to say the least. Was quoted on a few body repairs and told I could save money if I combine some of them. Simple enough. I agree to do multiple repairs and drop my car off. Was told it would be done in 3 days...on the 4th day I call. “Everything went great and you had no extra costs” except my bill is $400 more than what I was quoted. “Well that last quote didn’t have EVERYTHING on it”...why would I say yes to someone working on my car when I don’t know what the estimated cost is going to be? That makes absolutely no sense. I verified the total when I scheduled my appointment and reverified it the morning I dropped it off....they agree to take some of the extra charge off but it still costs me around 350 more than originally quoted. I get the truck back..the why who should be coming out and talking to me is no where to be found...he avoids talking to me because he knows I’m upset. Instead he sends out a receptionist who knows nothing about what they did. She didn’t even k ow which car it was...at first glance everything looks fine so I eye my keys and leave. After 2 days I notice that an area I had them repair has imperfections in it. I get that things happen and call to try and set something up to fix it. I’m told “we’ll try for a one day turnaround” and they set me up with a rental for free. Sounds great! Turn my car back in and am now on day 2 with no answer on when it will be done....they were so fast to tell me one day turn around but now aren’t brave enough to give me another estimate? And when they figured out they would have it in a day. They couldn’t call me and let me know? I have had phone calls with these people on 6 different occasions where they said Matt would call me back ASAP....never did once. He routinely ducks out of confrontation and passes you off to someone else. I could CLEARLY hear him telling someone who I assume was his boss about the issue with the quotes when I picked up my car the first time but never came out to meet me....EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. The only reason I didn’t lose it at this place was due to there being other costumers there and I wasn’t trying to make a scene. But k ow it seems I have to result to randomly driving over there because they don’t answer my calls. Don’t call me back or email me with updates...nothing.....I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone I know and the only reason I will return is if something else shows up in their work....I highly recommend that they rethink who they put in charge and fix their complete lack of communication with their customers. If you make a mistake...just own up to it. I’d be in a waaaaay better mood if he had just come out and said hey Had called and said “hey I’m really sorry but we won’t have the car done in a day. This is what happened and I’ll call you as soon as I know when it will be done”.....that’s it! That’s all I needed....but no. I got nothing...literally NOTHING. 0 out of 5 stars and I will be speaking with whoever actually runs or owns that place...

Im not sure where all of these good reviews for Colonial Collision Center are coming from, friends, family and employees maybe? My experience is the exact opposite of the reviews featured here and on other sites. Getting information is near impossible.Most of the time they do not return calls and even when they do they usually cant give useful information. Theyve had my car for over six weeks and still cant give me an estimate on when the repair will be finished. Based on my experience, I would say avoid this place at all costs. Some of the worst customer service Ive ever seen. If zero stars was an option that is what I would give.

This place was great, I had someone scratch the back of my car and had a previous bad experience with the Rick Hendricks at International Parkway and was very hesitant about bringing my car here but decided to have a positive attitude and treat this place differently since they didnt give me the poor service from before. I dropped my car off, and they kept me updates and in the loop from the moment I dropped it off. It only took them a little over 24 hours to paint my bumper and replace some clips that was damaged. I went to pick it up nervous that I was going to have to send it back, when I went to look at my car I was amazed at how great the paint job looked and for once I didnt have to reject the work that was done to my car. The service and customer service was excellent. They knew I had a bad experience at the other location, and wanted to make sure that I didnt have that experience again. They exceeded at that expectation and then some. I would defiantly take my care back to Rick Hendricks in Norfolk, but hopefully nobody else will hit my car.

I was truly impressed by this shop. The day I walked in to drop the car off and the day I walked in to pick it up, there was a screaming customer in the lobby. Not a great thing to see when first walking in.Im not sure if it was because I was coming in with insurance paying the bill or that those two customers were just unlucky, but I had a totally great experience.They informed me through text how the car was going, they called when things changed drastically, and I picked it up looking new.Big thanks to Ryan and his team!

Had my car repaired here and they did a HORRIBLE job. They glued the sides of my new bumper to my car and it’s coming off. Also, the new paint doesn’t match my car. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere that does quality work.

Very friendly and good body work & paint. Timing, ehh. suppose to be ready Friday afternoon but didnt get it until Monday. Didnt matter to me but was on standby all Friday afternoon to go get it.

Highly recommend . My car was looking like it was gone be a total lost and they fixed it till it looked brand new . They worked well with me and everything I asked For they made sure they got it done and some more . I wouldnt hesitate to come here again .

They were ok. They were good with dealing with the insurance company. But they were little off on the time it took to repair a scratch on my corner panel on my chevy. Hard to get a hold of your person thats handling your case. But they are very nice people.
