I have been going to the store since it opened absolutely the best place in the world anywhere you go. Better prices and better selection than Lowes in fact they should call them highs

It was a very pleasant experience coming in on wednesday. The new guy working in lumber Cole really took initiative on helping me out. He approached me asking what was needed then proceeded to grab my entire order and even loaded my truck. Nice to see that this home depot is starting to care more about customer service

You guys are lucky to have somebody takes care of that location as Luke, I had an issue with the lumber department 2 weeks ago, Luke went above and beyond to make sure that my issue was resolved and he even followed up the day after and called me to make sure that everything was alright and I was happy, Again you are lucky to have a person like Luke who treats the business as his own and provides and exceptional customer service. Also I would like to give a great review for Mate who gives an exceptional customer service as well.

Pretty good experience. Been going to home depot for all of my moving supplies, but this trip to this home depot I was actually looking for curtains for my new house. They had some pretty good rods but the selection of curtains was poor unless you want 84H×37W curtains. Shower curtains werent the best selection either unless you want white.

You are having the best thing in your world right after your work is a great way of life and you will find the perfect place for your life to go to a different place of your own a little more and then I will probably go with the rest

Thats definitely enjoy shopping at this location I have spent a lot of time purchasing and retrieving all types of products from this location the staff is very knowledgeable also very personable any issues that Ive had with this location management has been very helpful and correcting the situation anything that you are looking for they definitely have it from tools to rubber rafts there is ample parking at this location the location is very adjacent to the major highways its easy to jump off run in get what you need to get and get back on the highway and keep going overall I enjoy this location and continue to make it my neighborhood home Depot happy holidays 2020

This location gets a lot of commercial traffic. They keep most things well stocked. The line system for checking out is more efficient, one line for multiple registers. The same process is used for the customer service return area.Customer service is nothing great, normal as compared to other Home Depot stores.Always take the time to look through the clearance section, they sometimes have some really great deals.

Do not go through their door installation. Our door was scheduled middle of July and was a no call no show. After talking to Home Depot employee they were suppose to call and reschedule. It took 2 weeks for someone to call and reschedule. Then we door was installed they trashed our storm door which they were suppose to reattach. Nobody has returned our call about the door and we are highly dissatisfied. We will no longer be used this store. Home Depot has lost a customer.

The paint guy was amazing and absolutely helpful with everything. Knowledgeable on all things.The cashier at customer service, jaden, not so much. She had no idea what credit card we were referring to and then had no idea anything about it. We realized it capped at $100 so decided to use the military discount instead. She didn’t mention that it also capped at $50. Felt rushed and like she did not know her job or want to try to help us.

I found what I was looking for. Third place I went. The checkout is different. Not a huge fan of this chain but it is a great alternative to the others when they dont have what I am looking for. The same goes in the reverse. Some interesting stuff for October 31st already out. 09/21/21.

This is a good location. lumber prices have curved back down here before the other stores. That means a lot to me that they reflect the wholesale price almost immediately on their retail level

Quality Service Ideal for hands on projects

This is the worst Home Depot in the Hampton Roads Area. Where do I start? As a contractor I experienced many delays and I try to avoid this particular location. Their cash register system where they try to channel all their customers into one line. I guess they’re trying to save money to reduce the number of employees. Also they areAlways out of stuff? Their customer service is awful as well. They should take a trip to the Home Depot in Lynnhaven and see how to run a good store. Are usually prefer Home Depot over Lowe’s but when I’m over this way I usually end up going to Lowe’s. Tighten up people

Kasey was amazing to work with to buy tile. She was knowledgeable and informative. I believe she belongs in a management role if she is not a manager already. Her & Cole provided the type of customer service that makes me want to drive out of my way to just to shop at the Norfolk store. Thanks Kasey and Cole!

People make all the difference - There are a lot of Home improvement stores and believe me I’ve shopped all of them, from Rhode Island to Arizona to New Jersey to Virginia and this is by far the best one I’ve shopped at, because while the inventory changes slightly from here to there. It’s the People who make all the difference.And I want to say that Bobbi in Customer Service here has made my day on more than one occasion. From chasing down inventory, to following up on custom orders she’s always friendly, courteous, Super helpful, and knowledgeable. She is the reason that I buy as much stuff here as I can. I can honestly say that Ive never had a bad experience at Home Depot. Theyve always been kind, friendly, helpful, and generally have everything Ive ever needed. Not to mention a bunch of stuff that I never knew that I needed lol. The service has always been good, even when theyre super busy. Whenever theyre swamped they always make a point to let me know that Im still a priority to them. Not to mention its always good to see that military discount. Its my go to place for everything I need for my house or garage.

Its about time I write a review for one of my most favorite places in the whole wide world and thats Home Depot Norfolk Virginia on Military Highway. Or anywhere at that! Lowes is okay but at the end of the day they just cant compete with Home Depot in terms of selection and pricing. I only shop at Lowes maybe once or twice a year if that and thats for special items that my customers specifically choose or something Home Depot doesnt have or Im close to it things of that nature.

I had a car key cut here, it had a chip but I can program it so a lady cut the key for me . I needed another one of those keys made and they refused to make it for even though they obviously had the capabilities. When I told them the key definitely could be made because the key I used to drive the car to the location was made there they just got an attitude with me said they won’t make it . On another occasion I was trying to buy a framing nail gun and ended up waiting around 45 MINUTES!! while they all just walked around chit chatting. I ended up having to grab a ladder and just pulling the thing from the upper shelf myself. These are just a few of the bad instances I’ve had at this location. Definitely will not be going back to that Home Depot ever again .

They advertised 9 picnic tables in stock and ready for pick up. When I got there an hour later they said they have no picnic tables. They need to keep their inventory updated.

Friendly service. Most times I do curbside pickup and they are great. Returns are easy. I have had no problems.

The store opened on time and very clean . Associates were busy but helpful and knowledgeable.

Do not get kitchen countertops through Home Depot. We never saw a template for our counter and details like the corners and seams were never discussed with us, we were charged for services never performed, and weve spent months trying to get our money back that we paid for counter removal and plumbing/cooktop disconnect since they never did those things. The customer service has been appalling, we can never get anyone to return our phone calls or emails.

Went in for rabbit cage wire. Spent 10 minutes looking for it. Employees were nice but out of their departments, not able to help much. Never did find the metal clips to put the cage together had to get heavy duty zip ties. ( What I needed was NOT for a rabbit. Its for a cage to keep birds out of my strawberries.)

Do NOT use this Home Depot for any kind of kitchen installation, especially countertops. Weve had so many issues with our quartz counter installation. Home Depot failed to schedule our disconnect/reconnect correctly, we had to pay someone do it even though we had also paid for that service through Home Depot. There have been a lot of other mistakes, too. Weve tried talking to them so many times, each time we get sold someone will call us and then they never do. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is really upsetting with an investment as big as a quartz counter, you want the details done right and this has just been a terrible experience.

I go to home depot for absolutely everything they have it all. Rental equipment and vehicles and so on and so forth.

We used Home Depot to schedule a simple kitchen countertop and backsplash removal and replacement.Almost from the beginning, we have had problems with this Home Depot. Despite being contracted to do so, this Home Depot never hired anyone to remove the backsplash and cook top stove. As a result, I’ve had to spend an additional $1,200 to hire contractors to do something that this Home Depot failed to hire someone to do.We hired Home Depot in April. This job is still not finished, and it is because of Home Depot’s inability to hire contractorsIn addition, we have had several problems with the subcontractors hired by this Home Depot to remove and replace the kitchen counter top. Each time I reached out to this This Home Depot, I am told that someone will follow up with me, only to have weeks go by with no one reaching out. Our issues were never addressed.The counter has now been installed, and there are several glaring issues with it. But rather than assisting us in our issues with the subcontracor, this Home Depot just ignores us.If you are doing any kind of home repair or renovation, do not use this Home Depot. Even if it is for a simple task.

Just went there to get some flower bulbs for the spring. It was just a quick lunchtime shopping run.

Perfect for home renovation stuff. Walked in and walked out in 10 minutes because we knew exactly what we wanted and the staff helped us find those items too!

Looked online for product we needed. The store closest to us were out. NORFOLK Store showed 30 of the porch railings and 11 of the stair railings in stock. We drove over 50 mile to the Norfolk store only to find 1 porch railing in stock and 0 stair railing. We ended up driving another 95 mile to Richmond to get the product we were needing.

It still had exactly what I wanted, but forgot and left the store with one of the things I needed.

I dont recommend ever going to this homedepot. Their customer service has been going down the drain more and more over the past few years. Im a contractor and I spend thousands of dollars there yearly, but this time was it for me. The cashier Nimarie was very rude and acted like I was an inconvenience to her. I bought any 700$ worth of stuff this trip and most of it was small items. The home depot changed their registers and it was hard to unload everything on the counter to check out. Then Nimarie handed me some bags and walked off. If i wanted to check myself out I would have gone to Walmart... Maybe it was her lunch or something, but I wont be going back to this one for sure.

Having to wait along time in a line to end up using a self checkout is not acceptable. It was a Tuesday afternoon at 2 its not that busy. Stopped there on a Friday afternoon two weeks ago and turned around and left when the line wrapped around the inside of the building. This issue needs to be taken care of and taken care of quick. You can see the aggravation on heavy customers face

On 5/21/2021 I was trying to reserve a rental tool . Home Depot has some of the rudest customer service representatives that I have experienced in a long time. If you get someone to answer the phone they switch you to another department without even saying they are going to do so. Of course its the wrong department. I would highly suggest that Home Depot give their reps some customer service training.

They rented me a bad machine. Full of mud. When it broke they billed me . Don’t rent from this store even .

Went into tool rental representative was Keith stated that I wanted to rent either the Kubota tractor or the yanmar tractor Keith goes ok which one, ok I want the Kubota so he does all the paperwork and charges me the $300 deposit we go walk out to look at it and he pointed to the mini excavator and I said thats not a tractor! So we have to go back in and he has to void the other $300 can take 72 hours before it shows back up in my account and then he charges me another $300 for the tractor so thats $600 taken out of my account so then we walk back out to the tractor and I state the trailer has a flat tire and he said yea I know thats why I just did the yanmar and I said when were you going to tell me that, then I go to pull my truck up to hook it up and the dude walks away doesnt even try to help me hook up the trailer! Worst customer service of all time if any other homedepot had what I needed I would of just left but by far the most unprofessional person Ive ever dealt with!Cheryl was very nice!

For a store thats right down the street from Lowes you would think they would have more competition however I will always drive the extra mile or so to get to Home Depot this Home Depot has great service

We paid to have a huge order to be delivered. We were the next house and then the delivery was cancelled. After being on hold for over 30 minutes. First they said no one was home to deliver. My husband was home and had just walked me outside to my car at the time they said the delivered. Then they gave some other reason. We have a camera that catches everything. They never came! So we were told to go pick it up ourselves or get it delivered next week, even though it was their mistake. So we had to cancel our order. Never shopping with them again! They obviously don’t care about their customers.

Just another routine trip to an excellent home depot. They always have everything I need here. The store stays clean and well stocked and the employees are always willing to help out.

Home depot is warehouse of people with good intentions and good attitudes but about the products they sell, they have little knowledge, and less understanding of how the products they are asked to sell will help the customer or anyone for that matter. So I will not give a star rating to how good or bad my experience in home depot was. We decided to use their services for a kitchen remodel. we got sold on the idea of their contractors excellent work, but now our tiny kitchen is a wreck. we are going into our third month and are being told it is going to be yet another month before they start. we demolished our kitchen as instructed, and now Im doing dishes out of my bathtub. did I mention I have two kids under the age of 3? the contractor they use has deplorable customer service and has been giving my husband the run around while not giving him solid answers. I blame homedepot primarily because they are the ones who use this contractor, they are the ones who sell the product. if doing a large project do yourself the favor and try your hardest to do it yourself. never again will we contract out with them.

Always have what Im looking for shelves are fully stock unlike Lowes.

Horrible - Purchased a storm door w/installation on April 12, 2021. Someone has come to my home to take measurements, however, its 5/14/2021 and still no door install. Ive spoken with John (a very pleasant gentleman), who advised me that he sent an email to the installers, someone was supposed to contact me within 24-48 hours. Ive not heard from anyone. Everytime I call the store, Im transferred to someone, then my call disconnects.

Unfortunately it made me realize how bad thier inventory is managed... Thier website said they had an item in stock... And when we got thier, they had none and hadnt had any for awhile... And when he called other stores to check for us... If they answered They would leave us on hold until someone would just hang up on us...

It was good but I cant say about the loader that works in the garden. They have to be called always when needed cause theyre just setting and talking when they dont have cars driving thru. One of their manager had to call them to attend on other customers outside of the cage. When I tried calling them they just pointed to get someone from the inside. Whatever happens to a customers first before chit chatting SMH

4 associates...37 wasted minutes and then finally told we dont carry toilet flanges. Time to leave

By far the WORST HOME DEPOT EVER. Today My order came in and I received the confirmation email. I go to the store, no one will helpe. I get excuse after excuse why they cant find it. As a Home Depot should, had everything I needed to do home projects. Painting my walls, towel rod holders for the bathroom, house numbers, window cling (frosted glass type) etc. One stop shopping.

This location was very good in the past but my last two experiences have been quite negative. Both involve lazy employees; the first time they were just standing around chatting while I was standing right beside them waiting for a break in conversation to get help. Today an employee helped my quickly and took me over to an expert for a question related to a sump pump fitting. He glanced at the pump I was interested in purchasing and the piece of PVC pipe that Id brought from home and quickly told me that they would work together without anything additional. I asked him, So these will connect together without the need for me to purchase anything additional?. He quickly nodded yes and I got home to find that he was completely mistaken. These things happen but his complete lack of effort when checking the items to accurately answer my question was very disappointing.

Only ONE employee acknowledged us... ONE! Thankfully she was very polite and helpful....

Asked someone to help me, he said hed be right back. Havent seen him in 30 minutes. They all have radios, if he couldnt do it he could have called somebody else.

I was in Store at 7:45 pm asked some One for help they took 15mins to show up at the aisle I was standing and my question was not answered correctly or the plumbing part I was looking for was not found because everyone is in rush to go home and even after I found the part the store manager kicked me out asking me to leave the parts. The questions I have is if you don’t want to serve people after 8pm your associate should ha e told me in the first place it’s closed come back to tomorrow why should I waste anther 10 mins searching parts and make me feel look embarrassed.

Normal stocked shelves like every other home depot. lazy staff just sitting around. I saw 4 people in the store not wearing a mask. I asked an associate if we had to wear a mask and she said yes. I told her i saw 4 people not wearing one. she tells me well, they probably came in and noone saw them to enforce this rule. well, then put signs on your doors to enforce this rule like every other corporate store. and if I told you I saw 4 customers (not 1, 4!) not wearing a mask you should probably be responsible and do something about it e.g. order staff to find them or announce on the intercom ...do something!

Very nice people and helpful went in for a couple things and had everything I needed
