Great price, great service. I called in the morning, got a rough estimate by phone. Dropped off the car and received a call a few hours later that it was done. Price was better than Ive paid other places in town. I would recommend this shop for muffler and exhaust repair.

Albert the owner of the shop is cool people, gives you upfront pricing and no funny business, they installed 3 cats for 1/2 the price of most shops in LA and installed 02 sensors for free, and he found 3 exhaust leaks in the process. Even went above and beyond to give me a ride home a few miles away. Definitely earned my business for future projects.

Price and work done was good. I did not care for the fact that my car was left unlocked, with the window down/ keys still in car; outside the of service bay unattended. When my dad made the comment about that being a pricy mistake (someone could have stolen it or taken items) the mechanic chuckled. I didn’t find that funny. I don’t know if I would use them again or recommend them to anyone, even though the prices are amazing and work was done fast.

Just went and got a quote from the guy working in the shop.I asked him how much it would be to get a straight pipe and cut off the existing muffler that is on the truck quoted me $100 hes out of his mind. The shop right down the street is doing it for $40

Finally, a honest mechanic. Go see Albert at speedway first. The back story is, I went to AAMCO. They could not fit me in but diagnosed that I need a catylitic converter and referred me to speedway. The owner Albert checked my car but instead of selling me a cat job he told me about a small chance that my car may have a special extended warranty on my cat. He told me to check that out first before he ordered parts. Turns out I did and the dealer replaced the catylitic converter for free. The owner saved me $1500 by being a good honest business man.

Seems to be a bit lazy and would rather send you away instead of doing a somewhat easy job. All I needed was a joint leak fixed, but this place told me that its not leaking and its my EGR pipe instead, which would be like $800+ in parts/labor. I was even lied to and told that he cant weld that joint anyways because itll burn the gasket, even though I told him the previous shop didnt even put a gasket.But, I took it to a different shop, and shared the same experience with the new place, and pointed to the same spot I thought the leak was, let him listen, and sure enough it wasnt my EGR pipe, it was the joint that I thought it was in the first place.So, seems to me that if you dont have a major price tag, Speedway Muffler wont repair your car and will say anything to get you to either go somewhere else, or give up on it.Btw, I had the new place do the repair and theres no more noise.
