Great group of guys, super nice. Called over 20 boat shops for a bearing carrier and prop shaft and hydro tech were the only ones within 120 miles with the parts. Of you have an outboard, especially a yamaha, these are they guys to talk with about parts. They even let us use their torch on a part in the parking lot. Highly recommend.

Spent a day and a half calling every boat shop within 3 hours of the white river, nobody even carried the parts we needed. Called Hydro Tec and they had every Yamaha part we needed in stock Definitely worth the 2 hour drive, highly recommend them if you need Yamaha outboard parts!

Let me tell you, these guys are on point! Hydro Tec Marine offers top-notch services. They answered so many questions before I bought my first products from them. After those products worked flawlessly for some I decided it was time I have them built a engine for me. Now we have built a few engine combinations together. From mild to wild, the guys @ Hydro Tec Marine have been here every step of the way. I even had a few hiccups with one engine. Ben and John simply had me ship the engine back and they said they would take a look at it. Well, the problem ended up being the engine not coming up to temperature like it should. This was my fault due to the choice of parts that I wanted on the engine for this particular build. They went ahead and warrantied the engine anyhow. John started he didnt want his name on anything that didnt fully make the customer happy. Thank you John and Ben for putting up with me, a customer that can be very hard to please. Very friendly people that really know their stuff and stand behind their work. After my first time using them it made me not wanting anyone else working on my boat. If anyone is reading this questioning using them or not its a 1100 mile round trip for me if I cant fix it Im making another road trip!

The people are professional, without doubt but I flashed my 250 SHO with them and the results were ZERO. I researched it thoroughly. Contacted multiple individuals with the same boat/motor who had their ecus flashed and experienced significant performance improvements. After this, I contacted Wayne and explained the situation. I experimented with multiple props, including the props that were proven with other boats/flashed motor like mine and was basically told that I didnt know how to operate the boat but hed he glad to redo the flash, which he did with no change in performance. For the record, Im 51 and have owned multiple 200+hp bass boats. Been independently operating boats since I was 16. Its not the operator.
