Alyese at the front desk is phenomenal communicating the status of your car and researching the best way to get it done. Nothing gets done without her explaining the situation and getting your approval. No aggressive sales pitches – just a genuine concern that you are comfortable with and understand what needs to be done. I appreciate that. Gene and Jordan are automobile whisperers who are great at solving any problem between the bumpers and getting it done in a timely fashion. When I bring my cars to them, I know they are in good hands and will get fixed properly. When I had a major repair, the Millin team worked hard to ease my mind and find the best solution both mechanically and financially. Finding a mechanic is not hard. Great service! I truly believe its the best place to get your car worked on in the Niles area. The only reason I gave four stars and not five is because of the hours. closed on the weekends and at five during the week, i need my car worked on but cant leave work early and I work the same hours they are open.

Family members recommended Gene to me a few years ago. They are friendly.. Honest and knowledgeable with what your car needs.. Once i had to leave my car overnight and had no way home and they offered to take me home.. Prices cant be beat also.

Bought a grandam from them with a new motor in it. Runs good. Had them look at our other grandam a few times and they were able to fix little issues and not charge extras.

Love Millin. They checked over my vehicle before I purchased. Gene gave me a great peice of mind before proceeding with a rather large investment.

Dont trust them to work on foreign cars. I had to get the clutch replaced on a 2014 Subaru WRX. He insisted they could do the job. I had a mind to go with a high end set up but was persuaded to go with south bend clutch as he highly recommended them and I wanted the mechanic who was working on my car to be familiar with what was going into it. Within a few hundred miles, the clutch began to make a high pitched chirping sound. It chirps in neutral and while in gear driving. The only way to stop the highly annoying sound is to press in on the clutch pedal. I called them up and was told to bring it back to the shop, so I took off early to do so. I was then told it was too hot to look at and that I would have to drop it off for a day. I took a day off of work and dropped it off for them to look at only to be told there was nothing he could do about it, that it was a Subaru problem. I wasnt offered any form or compensation and now have to either drive around with a loud chirpy car or burn up my clutch by riding around with my foot on the pedal. If I hadnt already missed a day and a half of work over this I would take it to small claims court just to inconvenience the owner, as I likely wouldnt get much out of it, and thus why he doesnt care to to address it.

Had a cyclinder head gasket replaced on my wife’s Subaru. Spent a bit of time looking into doing it myself but decided it would just be easier to hand it over to Millins after talking with them about it.They charged me exactly what they said they would, did the exactly the work they said they would and 10k miles after the work was done the car is running perfectly, not burning oil, not leaking coolant, all is working great.Definitely would go there again for major work and would recommend them based on my experience.

Didnt do the right repairs the first time on my ladys car. It again broke down with the same issue from the first time. They even told her they should have fixed it the first time but chose not to. The just did the minimum and let it go. Now they want to charge her almost $400 to fix what should have been done the first time. Its a shame there are still people out there that try and get what they can to make a profit of someone. Her nor myself will give any endorsement to this garage. They failed on their websites statement. Honesty and Integrity. The fix should have been done for free. They knew they messed up.
