How small businesses run by lazy owners survive is beyond me. They dont open til noon, close by 6:30 every night, except Fridays they close at 5pm, because everyone knows that people hate spending money and splurging on items on payday, open Saturdays from 12-4 and closed on Sundays. To top it off, theres no website. Ive never heard of such ridiculous hours except for small businesses in the area. Newsflash buddy, people who can afford new gear work, everyday, they also have stuff to do on the weekend and cant always manage to get there in the 4 hours that youre actually open on the 2 busiest retail days of the week. I want to give these small businesses my business but if theyre too lazy to keep reasonable hours, Im going to Guitar Center or ordering online.

Was looking for a new guitar and they were very helpful. Let you try the instruments :-) my 2 yr old ran up to a drum set and I thought omg thought they would say something but the owner handed him some drum sticks and said have it lol. They also do great repairs and the prices are very reasonable. Also they do music lessons. So all in all was a very good experience and will definitely be back :-)

I had such a nice experience at Lewiston Music. I was having issues with my acoustic and I had it fixed within a couple days of dropping it off for a very reasonable price. It was a friendly, welcoming, and super successful visit, I’ll definitely be back for any and all things guitar related in the future!

Tony and the guys are special! They always find ways to help the beginner, the casual picked, it the serious musicians. Gave me a great deal on a Cort guitar that sounds awesome! They recently moved from Lewiston to Military Road in Falls(about five minutes up road) so I wish them luck! Stop in and browse...

Such a great place! The owner is very involved with the business and amazingly patient with kids. My kids in particular are very handzy and always smacking the drums and playing on the keyboards. Never a harsh word, only words of praise and encouragement.There are many private lesson rooms in the back and the instructors are also amazing. My kids take piano but I have heard drums, violin, many guitars and basses, flute and even some vocal lessons... they got it all. There is a wide range of products in store and if you have a special request, Tony can surly track down your musical hearts desire. They also do rentals for band and orchestra at fair prices. I really enjoy walking into this business because I can be sure that someone is playing a guitar or working a keyboard just filling the air with inspiration and the joy of music (oh, got goose bumps there).My only complaint... I wish I could give them more stars.

Really fantastic music shop in the heart of Lewiston. The owner really is passionate about music and his shop shows it. Always a pleasure to go in and browse records, and talk with the owner. Top notch!

The guy who runs the shop is cool and understanding and all you have to do is ask to play the nice guitars if he sees you can play a not so expensive one, hes got a lot of good stuff for a fair price.

Needed a favor of a double bass rental and though we never went through with it, Tony the owner was very nice on the phone and was willing to do help in what was not his normal course of business. I would recommend Lewiston Music for your music needs.

This is a great store! A very decent selection of nice guitars, keyboards, bass guitars, amps and plenty of other instruments which are very reasonably priced!!!!!! I love this store and I plan on coming here more often!!

Buyer beware!They sold my son and amp that they knew was broken. My son spent his hard-earned money on an amplifier. They said that they had fixed the problem but they had not. It was an issue that had been related to warming up of the amp. After it warmed up it failed as it must have done in the past which is common to the amplifier that they sold us. its just a shame that this unscrupulous company as taking advantage of children. Worse they would not answer any of our phone calls after I left messages and called and called on the number of occasions. Do not use this dishonest company, there are better more reputable stores. Unscrupulous.

Always friendly service. They even let my little ones touch everything. Hours are not correct online so just call them. He did try to fix it but it wouldnt let him.
