I love this place! Best surf shop in SoCal in my opinion.

Kandace Duffey provided outstanding service on our visit. We desired a specific style of coaster and she literally removed every box from inventory in search of a matching pair. When no other match was found, she suggested a magnet and other appropriate items expressing the same thought as was on the coaster. She was personable and went the extra mile for us. Kandace has a sincere desire to serve and help others. This characteristic is rare in todays world! Balboa Surf and Style is fortunate to have Kandace serve its customers!

I went to Balboa Surf and Style on a trip. An employee named Sarah helped me find this really cool thread wallet and taught me how to use it. She was so nice and and genuine! I will definitely come back, because of the great customer service!

I went to the beach earlier today and had a rash from the sand. Sara helped me to find the surfers salve which was literally a life saver!!!! And it smelled AMAZING!!!! Highly recommend

I cant believe that on March 27, 2021, the proprietors are not wearing masks. This is a business that obviously hates their customers. Why else would they create such risk in their business.

Great service! We had to check out this shop with the giant Rainbow sandal in front. When we popped in, we were greeted by two lovely employees with black fur and cute faces. Say hi to Romeo and Andre when you go! We picked up a white/tan hoodie with a colorful California Newport Beach logo. So soft and comfy! Would highly recommend buying one yourself! They have a lot of everything here; swimsuits, hoodies, clothing, knickknacks, baby clothes, Puravida bracelets, excellent service from the owner, sunglasses, and lots of other things. Go check this store out!

Came across this little gem while visiting the island with family. To be honest it was the two furry friends I saw that peaked my interest at first. We met the owners Brian and Kimmy and they were extremely friendly and helpful. We will be back to rent some SUPS next time for sure. Cool little shop.

So much variety I could have spent hours, awesome tees, and all things Beach Merch! Loved my experience definitely going back!

Perfect place to stop in and grab items, ladies, mens & kids clothing/shoes. Skateboards & long board selection good. The owners are very nice, my daughter loved their dog Romeo.
