Always helpful and friendly, great sleection!

This was truly a wonderful experience. A beautiful nursery with the most beautiful plants. Lots of nice accessories too. But the best part was the very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I will come back and I live 80 miles away.

We have shopped here for years and have always had helpful friendly staff. Yesterday we bought a fountain my husband had been wanting for a while and they said they would have it ready for us to pick up today. We showed up and no one had any clue the fountain had been sold. Worst part is one woman working here treated my fully vaccinated husband as a leper!!!! She made a HUGE deal to walk way around him and was EXTREMELY rude! He was so hurt. We left to go wait while they prepared the fountain and to let him cool down. He would be appalled if any of his employees treated one of his customers this way. He almost told them when we got back he did not want the fountain because of how they treated him. So sad the world we live in and how employers allow their employees to treat good customers this way. Unfortunately we will be finding another nursery to take our money since this one is no longer interested. I pray seeing this fountain in our entryway won’t remind him constantly of what happened. I feel this fountain is now tainted by this experience.

Plants are very healthy and they have a great selection prices are pretty reasonable too👍🏻.🌱🍂🌾🪴

Id live there if I could. Such an extensive array of everything related to gardening. The roses were gorgeous.

I am thrilled with the landscape design and install completed by Armstrong nursery Newport Beach. Kamal,landscape designer, met me at my home, listened to my vision for the space and drew a plan that reflected my vision.Each step of the process was professional and stress free. The end result looks gorgeous and is everything I hoped it would be. Kamal was very professional and made sure the project was completed beyond my satisfaction.I highly recommend this service if you are considering a landscape renewal.

Today we picked up a fresh Noble fir Christmas tree 🌲+ 2 six inch classic red poinsettias. There was plenty of selection - big trees, small trees, various poinsettias, wreaths, garlands and, of course, lots of other plants. I appreciate that staff was there to help with the selection of our tree, answering questions and to assist with getting the tree in our car. All in all, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience. BTW, theyre open from 8-9 for seniors. 😊

I went into the Newport Beach location today to return a tree that was struggling. I first went to the Costa Mesa location and they couldnt find my purchase in their system - so I drove to Newport. HUGE SHOUT OUT to Jared - the Assistant Manager who found my purchase within 1 minute. He was BEYOND courteous and helpful! I had several questions and he helped me with ideas. They were busy, but he made me feel like I was important and really cared about solving my planting problems. He should be a Regional Manager and deserves a big raise! Great customer service is so hard to come by and I was thoroughly impressed with him (everyone else was very nice as well!). I made another purchase there and am a very happy customer!!!

Staff was friendly when I called for information. When I got there, I was directed to what I was looking for, and walked out with my lemon tree. Everyone was friendly and helpful - That is Customer Service!!!

Very upscale large garden store. Huge variety of plants and related items. Grounds are quite beautiful. Numerous Butterflies are flying around, quite a surprise! Prices and quality are high. Well worth a visit for the garden like atmosphere. Numerous staff are very helpful. Probably the nicest garden center that I have visited.

The have a nice selection of plants and they keep the garden very clean.

If you value personal service, this is the local garden center for you. Ample staff to help answer questions, big selection in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Their return policy is as good as Nordstrom and they provided same day delivery service. Lots of parking, too.

Nice plants, a bit pricey

The owner Doug and Manager Tom are extremely helpful and patient! Im very thankful to have them and the nursery so close to where I live.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff! Knowing Ive a black thumb and no confidence I can keep plants alive, they helped me find perfect plants, walked me through care of my more finicky picks, and helped troubleshoot some borderline failures at home based solely on what I had on my phone! Everything is alive and well and its all thanks to Armstrong! I dont go anywhere else!

Im not a big garden center guy, but Armstrong Gardens is a mainstay in Socal. This one in Newport Beach has everything you would need to do any sort of planting or landscaping.

Our experience was great, hunter helped us with everything we needed and more. Thankyou for making our shopping easy.

This is a good nursery with a selection that touches on alittle bit of everything ! Not Rogers gardens but better than Home depot . Easy free parking lots of shopping carts out front and a helpful kind available staff!

Stopped in for some soil, an avacado tree and some wire pots on a saturday afternoon. I was completely ignored by SEVERAL employees. Asked for the manager but was told said manager was on break but I could talk to the assistant manager. The assistant manager was busy but I could wait in line if I wanted...FU Armstrong!OMG did this REALLY HAPPEN? On my my way to another nursery.
