Visited today for some paint. Josh was another example of why Ace Hardware is the only hardware store to shop at in SEA, LA or the OC. Josh was incredibly helpful and provided me with the knowledge I needed to make a paint job as seamless as possible. Plenty of parking in a beautiful location, a great city to visit or live, Newport Beach. Thank you Josh and Crown Ace Hardware. My family in the OC has visited this franchise for years and it is because of the exceptional service and highly competent employees.

Super helpful having a automotive smart key cut. Much cheaper then the dealer wanted to charge.

Customer service is key and this location falls short... We had two different people say they would call someone to help us in the paint section... 10 min later we were standing there and a very friendly employee named Marty asked if he could help us even though he was new and didnt know the paint section well... He did his best and then the person who came to help show him what to do was the girl who told us she would call someone for us in the beginning... So she knew how to help us, but it was inconvenient for her...Thank you Marty for being helpful!

Mark is the man! I called and he was so helpful and had great customer service. He helped me find exactly what I needed, or close to it! They actually had items in stock that others (Home Depot) did not... Brick and mortar store for the win!! Fantastic job by Mark.

Terrible service. I had to ask 3 different staff members just to locate zip ties. They were very rude.

I was happy to shop at my local Ace Hardware until I found out that the staff are mask nazis. Theyre treating healthy people as if they are sick, and doing it in an extremely rude manner. Ill have fun giving Amazon my business instead!

I went to this store today and was refused to enter though I have an excuse of a serious breathing disorder. I cant wear a mask for that would take more air away from my ability to breathe. What happened to the handicap laws? I tried to explain, but was met with communist type behavior from the staff and manager. I will never shop in this store again. There are always exceptions to any rule. I feel humiliated. I appeared disbelieved. I also appeared as if I was being forced to wear a mask by use of refusal of service. This is wrong of any employee to treat me in such a manner. Most stores I go to accept the exception to the rule, let me shop.

Clean and neat

Most of the time I go to Ace Hardware and the people are usually super nice but today it was as if I was bugging.

Is close by... a little pricey than Home Depot but more convenient!

Nice people staffing the store. Prices a little high but what you expect for the convenience of shopping in CDM. And I appreciate their mask policy which helps to protect clients from COVID.

Great friendly service

Well trained employees know where everything is. They also give simple advise on installation, tools etc. Checkout requires walking the gauntlet of impulse items but lines are short and move quickly. This is the friendly neighborhood hardware store.

Awesome staff!!! Unlike other hardware stores the staff at Ace are always willing to help and if they dont know the answer to your question... they will find a co- worker who does. I have been going there for many years and its by far the greatest hardware store!

Been going to Ace Hardware stores in Newport/CDM stores for most of my life. Very knowledgeable staff. Take today for example..I came into buy a Flag Holder to mount outside...It was not on the shelf so I inquired. The person went into the back and found the unit I wanted..then tracked me down in the store with a smile. Very satisfied and recommend highly.

This place is the best. I started a house cleaning business, and of course I made some bad decisions on my purchases. The staff has always been very friendly to me. They have taken back a lot of the returns and have recommended products to me that really work great. I recommend Ace, because everyone is friendly, and there is always someone there to help you when you are in a jam.

Customer service here is impeccable if you cant find it they have Associates and a floor staff that constantly interacts with one another to try and get you to the right person get the right thing they have a great selection theres only one thing I hate about this store and I think it happens that all the aces is that when you go to check out they ask you if you have an Ace Rewards would you like one would you like to round up to this would you like to donate to that I really find that annoying I dont like to be molested or pressured when Im going to pay for any goods and I think that that shouldnt be in any store and the employees feel embarrassed about pressuring or pushing that on to customers to because Ive shared this with the cashier at the time I said look I just want to pay for what I came in here I dont want to donate I dont want to be bothered I dont want rewards I just want to pay and go and they said Im sorry were told to do this and I think thats wrong thats why you have local charities who do this so for whatever reasons they do that they should stop doing it that would be reward enough.

This is where you want to go. Customer service out the wazoo, great people working here.John at the key cutting booth is a saint. Got locked out due to my key breaking and he helped cut me new keys with a bent and broken key as reference, all knowing I had no money upfront. Saved my day. Im definitely a forever customer now.

I waited 20 min to make copies of keys for them to tell me that they were out of standard keys and that I had to pay $5.99 each for picture keys. They could have told me when I walked in and saved me the bad customer service.
