I really like the green tea donut and the green Thai tea drink. Donuts are freshly made in the kitchen, you can ask for your drink to be less sweet. The line was a little long at night but went pretty fast. Great customer service and they take Apple Pay—which is neat because I only had my phone on me that night. 😁

Incredible atmosphere and incredible donuts. Right on the beach and open 24/7. Full to the brim with delicious donuts even at mid-morning. One of the beat glazed donuts I’ve ever had, incredibly light and fluffy. Decent crunchy apple fritter as well. A must-visit for donut lovers on the pennisula.

We usually stop here in the mornings after visiting the fish market, against a background of the waves and seagulls you can select from a variety of donuts. Nothing like a black coffee with a massive apple fritter and looking at the beach from the pier. Theyre still cautious about the number of people in the shop (thumbs up) so the line stretches down the alley by the side of the shop.Great place to get a sweet treat while walking the beach!

These donuts were amazing. There is too much ice in the Taro Milk Tea w/ Boba but the drink is amazing. I like the watermelon smoothie. Definitely worth the long line.

Had dinner in town and spotted this place when by pier earlier and decided to pick up dessert. Lovely little local donut shop with all your standard donuts and what appears to be a specialty in croissants. Excited to taste my chocolate croissants tomorrow. Had the Boston Cream today and it was very fresh with a great cream filling. Staff were super friendly.

I love getting doughnuts and coffee here when I come to Newport Beach. Since theyre open 24 hours theres always fresh doughnuts coming out. They also have good coffee. I dont have to load it up with cream and sugar. Service is also very good.

The hype around Seaside is real. Some of the freshest and best tasting donuts I’ve ever had. They make a killer cronut, their prices are incredible and you just can’t go wrong. I’ve had tons of donuts from regular hole in the wall joints to Sidecar and these guys consistently kill the game when it comes to quality + price. Don’t miss this place, they never disappoint. Excellent.

I also recommend the apple fritter it was awesome. The proximity to the beach and pier is perfect. The service was very quick and courteous. They are open 24 hours. Highly recommend stopping at this bakery if you’re in the area you will not be disappointed.

Ive been going here for years and Ive never had a disappointing experience. Ive gotten their lemonade, their delicious lattes, omelettes and sandwiches. Everything is savory with great portions. I can easily be satisfied with the first half of my sandwich, but the struggle is trying to keep me from devouring the entire thing in one sitting. Great staff, wonderful service and plenty of seating inside and outside (with yellow umbrellas for rainy days)!

Best donuts Anywhere! 24hr operation right on the beach. Love their donuts on the beach as the sun is coming up. This is a must have as we have actually driven 11hrs to have these at sunrise on the beach.

I like simple things. Simple donuts too. Glazed or chocolate dipped. Seaside makes the classics very well but we ventured out of our comfort zone and tried the green tea frosted donut. Wow. Not overly sweet and subtle flavors. So good! Love this place and will definitely have to go back. This has become our favorite donut shop on the continent. Do they have donuts on other continents? Maybe, but why go any further?

A local favorite of my friends who introduced me to the place. Seaside donuts has a wide variety of donuts, all of which are very cheap starting at 1 dollar each. They also have drinks available such as coffee and Thai tea. I recommend the Thai green tea and also I heard the cronuts are very good. The place itself is very small and when I went there was a line but that didn’t matter much since the staff is very fast and friendly. The location of Seaside is one of the best aspects of it, being located right next the beach, pier and several other restaurants. Another thing that is great about this place is that it is open 24/7 which is one of the main reasons my friends are drawn to Seaside. This place is definitely a must for anyone visiting the Newport pier.

Love this place. Fun for study snack runs in college, a treat to visit now. Nice staff and great selection of pastries. Thai tea is also so good! Love to come here in the morning and grab some coffee to have while I read on the beach.

Delicious donuts, freshly baked. The prices are very affordable. Its located right in front of the beach. I recommend trying the chocolate sprinkled donut with a yummy hot chocolate.

These are the best donuts on the planet. They taste exactly the same as they did when I was surfing here back in 1986. When we go and visit we bring them back home to New England now. You will not be disappointed.

Every time we go to California, its a must that we stop here at Seaside Bakery in Newport Beach. For this trip we actually planned our trip based on being able to come here every morning for breakfast so we made sure to stay in a hotel thats close enough to Seaside. We love this place so much, I remember coming here when they only used to take cash but now they expanded and started taking card.This place has a very light, welcoming and calming vibe. Of course its by the beach so that adds to it but the people are super nice and friendly and their donuts full of goodness and croissants that are just wow... I cant even explain but everything here is made fresh thats for sure.If you are ever in Newport Beach, you are missing out in life if you dont try this place. This place is legit and I can literally live inside this donut place with no problem!

Great casual (as in no dining in!) breakfast stop right along the beach parking lot in Newport! We sampled quite a few doughnuts, and my husband and I enjoyed a breakfast sandwich. A short strollTo the pier after breakfast was perfect! Parking on lot was no problem around 9am.
