Really clean. Organized. Well lit. Staff was friendly - we were helped by Sydney this evening who was polite and courteous. There is a lot of parking for this location, but it can be difficult to find a spot when it’s busy. My wife and I had a really fun time trying all of the different perfumes!

Please be aware, double check your purchases!! I was visiting Newport and I bought a dolce and Gabbana perfume from this location that looked sealed up and had a security tag on as well. So I didnt double check it when I was paying for it. Later when I opened the packet, I noticed the cap was missing and the whole bottle was empty!! I called the shop and explained the situation and told them that I cannot return it to the store because I was on my way back home. The manager told me to take it to any ulta store and get a refund or return. I did that but was told that they wont return or exchange it since it was not bought at their store. I called the store back and told them the situation and explained to them what had happened but they said they couldnt do anything about it because it had never happened before and they checked the security camera and said they didnt see anyone temper with it before they rung me up. Keep in mind, this tempering could have happened prior to me buying it and I suspect its one of their staff whos doing this!! Im really disappointed with this kind of service. Even customer service told me they couldnt do anything about this and that i would have to go to the store i bought it from. I even asked if my sister could bring in the item with the receipt if i mailed it to her and they said they cannot do that. Just be careful purchasing items from ANY ulta store and especially this store where they are covering up this kind of activity where they temper with the item and put it back on the shelf.Looks like someone carefully opened the packet and glued it back. The glued part has fingerprints on it as well!! So I can guarantee that one of the staff did this!Update: I emailed and reached out to ULTA and they said someone will reach out to me about the experienceI had, but nobody reached out. So shop at your risk. They obviously do not care about customers feedback 🙄.

Very nice today, wouldnt have gone in, except whole foods was right next door. Never had better service like today and not a lot of people were there.😷 and sanitizer !

Customer service is bad. No one was asking if I need help. Cashier gave me a judged looking at my outfit. Some of them did not wear mask.

This particular Ulta location was a perfect visit. The staff was friendly and understanding with regards to what I was looking for. When I was at the register, they were extremely helpful with me wanting to use my points. Every product was also fully stocked.Excellent customer service and product selection.

I’m going to start by stressing that no one picks up the phone at this store and that I have had better service from gas stations in downtown LA after midnight. Imagine calling 5 times with no answer, or better yet... shopping at the store and hearing the phone go unattended for periods of time. I am (not) proud to say both have happened to me now and I’ll be going anywhere else on the map from now on.

Good store to visit. Many choices and friendly staff. Kind of pricy but worth it.

It was my first time going to ulta beauty and Lea was my stylist. She was so personable and really wanted me to look beautiful with my new cut and color! She’s fabulous and did such a great job on my hair. I will definitely be going back to see her!

Ive been coming here regularly the past few years for my hair, I love Desi - she takes great care of me. Desi totally cool, knows what I need and keeps my hair healthy and looking great (not bragging...just sayin 🤣🤣). I like that I can collect points and redeem them for products for getting my hair done, the salon does practically everything too!! its a win-win situation here folks 👍🏻

This Ulta is not very big and parking can be pretty tough at peak times because its at the mall and there is a Whole Foods right next door. The staff however is always helpful and process sales very quickly. You can always check online before venturing down there to make sure what you want is in store.

Wonderful shopping experience here. Associates are helping with providingproduct knowledge and offer you a shopping bag to shop. Check out line was not too crazy either. Overall, A+ experience!

Spotless, bright, amazing selection of skincare, beauty, tools etc. The service is on point. I came to make an online return and Ill be back to shop. This location seems to better than their Tustin one. Located right next to a Whole Foods in Fashion Island with plenty of parking.

Most of the customer service girls stand around and talk.There was one in perfumes that helped,she was great.I wish they had more hypo allergenic products.

I went here and fought fashion island parking to buy product which they sell and offer buy 2 get 1 free. Their website which I checked said they had in Stock. I arrive they are missing 3. I ask if they can discount or rain check the 3rd they cant do that. The manager and her boss are helping me I ask for a cheaper product they say fine go get it and register wont allow. I was buying 75 dollars more worth of product am a rewards customer and they just offer to call another store! Really I ended up asking for some solution even an iou when the product arrived but couldnt make that happen. Lost a customer for life. Service was just not customer focused. 100 dollar a month customer and cant even try a solution.

I went to Ulta in fashion island last week and i was helped by the sweetest girl! her name was Ellie Smith and she was the skin therapist there. i had her help me match foundations and she told me about the best skin care for my skin. she was so helpful and honest!! she told me about what the salon offers and she gave me her card. i didnt even realize how many things the salon offers! i really enjoyed my experience at Ulta and i will be returning soon!!

Called in for a beauty product I was in search for and they said it was in stock. Drove 35 minutes to arrive and be told there was no more yet there was the same exact product I needed sitting in the back counter but it was on hold for someone else. What a coincidence!!? Employee that answered the phone said yes right away without checking for stock. Shouldve been a red flag for me but I just thought there was plenty to know it was there. Never again!!

This location is large, fairly organized and right next to Whole Foods. I wish the drugstore area had more samples to try out.

I went in to redeem my birthday promotion. I asked the cashier/employee about the promotion and showed her the email on my phone with the 2 barcodes on it so she could scan it. Before i could finish asking, the security guard stands in between the cashier and i as if i were doing something wrong. The woman then told me that they did not have it but she didnt even check to see if it was in stock. After leaving i checked on the Ulta website which said it was in stock at that location. The girl was polite but did not seem to know what she was doing seeing as she didnt know about the promotion or how to scan the barcodes on the email and didnt bother to check for the product i was asking for. The security guard feeling the need to monitor my conversation with her made my experience at this store very uncomfortable. I just want to let the employees know that they need to be more friendly when it comes to assisting customers and making them feel welcomed as well as better trained/ knowledgable about birthday promotions, checkout, and stock check.

Front desk staff were friendly. The manager girl was miserable. She was rude, not helpful and left me leaving there wondering why I purchased anything. even if you hate your job the least you can do is be friendly to those who are friendly and who are contributing to your paycheck.

Absolute worst Ulta store. Seems like a regular store, but this was my third time in there for a product that I looked up beforehand online that was suppose to be there only to be told by an employee that they don’t carry it because they are a smaller store. Three times and never been able to buy what I have been looking for. Walked out empty handed each time. Beyond disappointing for their location.
