I have been a customer of Schock Boats for over 30 years, purchasing three Gradys and having them serviced at their facility. I have found the staff to be courteous, professional and competent. Iโm a customer that wants to know details about my boatโs systems and about proper operation. The staff has been very patient with my inquiries and helped to make me a better boat user. The service/parts department has been great about keeping my boat operating properly - Iโve never been stranded on the water in 30 years. I highly recommend Schock Boats for your boating needs.
Schock Boats is the absolute best! Their approach is truly that of a family owned business. Extremely knowledgeable sales staff, great service and parts team. They also spent as much time as we needed getting us comfortable with our first boat. The buying experience was easy with a no-pressure approach. The after purchase experience and service has been great and they are always there for us. We had such a great first experience, we bought a second boat from Schock less than a year after the first. We wouldnt go anywhere else!
Truly a family run business, where the family still shows up to work! My family and I had the recent pleasure to buy a used boat there at Shock Boats. Our experience was nothing short of amazing! Their customer service is outstanding, as we were made to feel comfortable during every step of our purchase and delivery. Steve and Ruth run a great business, from Gary and Jay in sales, Carlos who took us through our new boat and assured everything was in working order, to Jeff and Steve in the parts and service area. All were attentive to our needs and seemed genuinely appreciative of our business. Couldnt recommend them more highly.
Every time I have gone there, whether it be to ask questions of the sales staff or to try to find out information re: service and/or parts, the staff has been helpful, polite and informative. The owners are in the sales area and take their time with my wife and I every time we go there. I bought one of their Boston Whalers and have not regretted it for a moment. KUDOS to all of you there at Schock Boats!!!
I have been doing business with Schock Boats for over 25 years, purchasing and obtaining service on 4 boats. I currently own a Grady White 330 Express. All departments - sales, parts and service - have been very fair, knowledgeable and they communicate well. The Schock family has owned this business for over 60 years and the family treatment of employees and customers is apparent. I highly recommend Schock Boats.
Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, top notch work. I took in a new to me 2003 Outrage 27 and had them fix up a bunch of small things and update all the electronics.I will never take my boat anywhere else for work.Thank you to all at Schock Boats
Schock boats is the place to go. I was a first time boat buyer and after purchasing from them, I will never go anywhere else. Steve is extremely knowledgeable, and Ruth is the sweetest. Great job guys, you have a new customer for life.
Great family business, Friendly and expert staff. Very attentive to your needs and proved very reliable time and again.
I cannot understand why the negative reviews that people leave are true, so i think to myself ahh yes they are probably one of those people who are just unhappy no matter what you do and with that mentality should not own boats, they are the idiots we all see out there i bet.All i can say is that my family has bought a couple boats from them and were very pleased with every deal, i deal with Jeff in parts for my Grady white and he goes the extra mile to get what i need and he is a great guy to chat with on the phone i enjoy spending my money with shock boats = )
Ive been dealing with Jeff in the parts department for several years now. Weather its parts, decals or striping for my 19 and 21 Boston Whaler, or parts for my Yamaha Outboard, Hes given me great advise and has always come through with what I needed. Several friends speak highly of the sales staff as well.
Boats, service and staff are 5 star.
Friendly, competent, experienced. I have purchased three boats and had them serviced at Schock. First rate.
I called to get info on servicing my Yamaha outboard. Person on the phone was very rude and acted like he did not want my business. He told me he would call me back. Before he hung up I already had the feeling he would never call me back. Two weeks later he never did. I took my boat to West Coast Marine and they serviced my engine. They were friendly, quick, and appreciated my business!
Nice people. Great products and service
DONT SHOP OR HAVE ANY SERVICE DONE HERE !!! NEVER !!!I have purchased two GRADY WHITE boats at this establishment. NEVER AGAIN !!The first time I just wrote off the negative experience as an anomaly, as the crew, mostly family, seemed to be nice people and I particularly liked the salesman who was a young family oriented man.The second boat, showed up to the shop on a truck about 3 months after I custom ordered it. During shipping, there was a chain wrapped around the tower base and it tore up the anodizing on the about 2-1/2 diameter anodized tube. The tube is right there on the deck and it was badly damaged. When I brought it to the managements attention, they acted like it was no big deal. They suggested that it might be my peoples damage. However, the boat just had arrived and was in their yard without anyone on it except their staff. It was a ridiculous statement. IT JUST CAME OFF THE TRUCK. They way that they dealt with this made me uncomfortable but I tried to act cool and just to get them to fix it. The reality was that with all of the welding and everything else repairing it was going to be a nightmare to fix. But it was their problem, right. I was actually really nice about it. In the end, their fix was to spray silver paint on it. WHAT A JOKE !! It looks like hell !! They basically, by not dealing with it, said it was my problem and too bad. I could have been a jerk about it but I just said screw it and let it go.IT GETS WORSE !!So, included with the original Sales Contact, were some things, included, paid for in full, in advance, that NEVER got completed. The most disturbing item that was not completed was the two engine services that they said that they would perform at no charge. This was part of the deal and its in writing. So, the last time that I took my boat to their shop, I had made a appointment for the haulout and the service in advance. As I live far away, I drove the boat to their location on a Saturday. On the Monday following, we called to find out when when the boat would be hauled out. Despite the fact that the appointment was made in advance, they refused to do the work that was included in the contract. What jerks !!! I ended up having to take the day off work and take the boat all the way back home. Then, as a result of their antics, I had to find another company to work on the boat and that required having to haul the boat at another shipyard. After a protracted period of time and energy spent, I ended up paying almost two thousand dollars out of pocket to get the boat hauled and the twin F350 outboards serviced at another shipyard. After thinking about it and looking at the contract with an attorney, I ended up demanding them reimburse me for what was included in the deal. I had to hire an attorney and to pay an attorney to protect my interests.I didnt do a damn thing to these people except purchase two boats. I asked them to fix a jacked up pipe. (By the way, its still jacked up). I should have made them tear apart the boat and fix it when it happened.
Great customer service.
