Great activity for up to 8 people. cruise around the inner marina and relax! we did it as a team building for work and everyone had a great time.

The electric boats are clean and efficient. With the weather perfect, the harbor was beautiful. We made a 2 hour ride which was perfect.

We made a reservation. They called us back and took our credit card and everything. When we got there they didn’t have it. They claimed someone who took our reservation shouldn’t have answered the phone. How would we know that?! We had our baby and we’re in from New York. Apparently they need to talk to their employees about who can answer the phone. Very disappointed. We even showed them the phone number and call log in our phone and they acknowledged it was their number but nothing they could do.

Very well-organized, friendly and efficient staff. Beautiful Duffy. We recd extra lines in case we stopped along the way, team helped us hook up our phone Bluetooth so we could enjoy our music during our harbor cruise. The map provided was helpful to stay on track and recognize landmarks (and avoid going under bridges where were wouldnt fit, etc.) Out on a Thu late afternoon, when it was relatively quiet with the exception of watching a Harbor 20 (sailboat) race up close. This activity is a must whether youre a resident with company or a visitor to Newport.

Omg! This was so much fun! The little Duffy boats are comfy and no gasoline smell! Plus you get to go wherever you want. This was worth ten stars in my book! A great family activity!

Such a great experience!! They have parking for their cuatomers. The boat is easy to drive. Theres plenty of space on the boat. They provide you with ice. Boat has Bluetooth & there is so much space for everyone to have enough privacy on the water. Will definetly be coming again. Staff is very friendly!

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with immediate family and had fabulous 3-hour trip! The whole process was very simple and accommodating and the staff was outstanding! We used the Duffy Boat for my bachelorette party. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! Boat worked great, and the employees were all very friendly. Had a great experience. I will use them again!!

This is a wonderful way to spend a day out on the water for someone who doesn’t own a boat and doesn’t have friends with boats who can invite them out. These are like golf carts on the water. Easy to manage. Big enough for a couple or a small group of people and conducive for drinks and snacks. Reservations are easy to make. Parking is available onsite. A map is provided for the water route and it’s easy to follow. An attendant will help you get the boat out and back in after you’re done. The service here is fantastic.

Wonderful crew! I rented my first Duffy for a party of 12. It was a wonderful experience and the crew who helped book the boat and also help us launch the boat was fantastic. They were very helpful. Going out on the boat in the canal with all the homes is such a wonderful experience. Very reasonable two hours for $199. You are able to bring on your own food and beverage. You are the captain.

If you’re looking for something fun this summer on a hot day, DUFFY BOAT! I can’t recommend it enough. We all had a great time. The map you get guides you through the channels past John Wayne’s home.Excellent experience.

We spent the afternoon in a Duffy cruising Newport Harbor. The boats are very clean and easy to guide around Lido and Balboa Island. There are some amazing homes and yachts to see.

We had a blast on the Duffy Boat! The staff was so friendly and helpful and the boat was clean and ready to go for us. We loved cruising around the bay looking at the amazing homes and yachts. It was a great evening! I recommend going at sunset, absolutely incredible.

Called to ask basic questions and the girl (Brandy) on the phone was short, apathetic and frankly rude!!! We were looking for a boat with sides as we noticed the weather had indicated rain. The boat we originally booked with a different company had no sides to protect from possible showers, so I thought to call around and find a company that provided boats with protection. Brandi spent most of our time telling me all that she couldn’t do rather than what she could do. She said they just had many cancellations due to the impending rain so I asked if she would price match the company 2 blocks away...she said NO! I asked if we could pay for an extra hour and she said NO! I asked for the 12 person boat and she said I could only have 8 on their 12 person boat. Needless to say I WILL NOT book with this company. If this were my employee I would fire her and if Brandi owns the biz she clearly makes too much money and probably should simply retire. Disappointing!!!!

I havent rented here yet but went to ask about renting and they have great customer service. I will definitely rent a duffy here. There fleet looks amazing.

Always an enjoyable evening, especially with the light parade. However it was a bit crazy navigating Newport Harbor with all the yatchts moving around you. Not for the faint of heart if you are inexperienced at navigating a small boat with a lot of traffic around you.The Duffy boat is nice. The stereo will connect to your smart phone so you can stream music which is a big plus. The boats have drop down, see thought shields which keep it relatively warm at night. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great time with family or friends.

It was good, my husband and I have a few years renting Duffy Boat with this same company. This last time I observed they have almost all new personal from last summer, some of them very nice, customers service oriented and a few of them not very suprises to see this, because few years ago we have the pleasure to meet one of the family members that own this business and he was a very nice young guy with all the good attribution that a person on the service industry should have. Hope they identify the personnel that need this type of attribution and give them some training.

Weve rented from this establishment for years! The boats are clean, run well, and the staff has always been super helpful and sweet. You can bring your own food and enjoy the ride. They provide life jackets for anyone under 12 years of age. They have free popcorn in the office and cute activity books for the kids. The kiddos pick a treasure out of the treasure box when you return. Parking can sometimes be a challenge but its worth it!

Nice location and good Duffy boats. We purchased a 3-hour gift certificate for a family member to go out together. When we arrived, we asked for an additional hour and they charged $200 more for the 1-hour, which seemed excessive and a bit gouging. A few minutes later (before heading out on the duffy) we discussed with the family and decided wed only do the 3 hours, but they said too late for a refund (literally 5 minutes after paying).

This place is more expensive than some other companies but I had a great time with my friends. Nothing really to complain about. There is free parking plus they have free popcorn in the office which is pretty cool!

Marios review has it right. Nice Boat - customer service sucks. Example; Their Forward/Reverse controller (same as on a golf cart pretty much) is run by a $5 potentiometer. Its barely up to the job. But when it fails . . . $200 ! ! ! Why? They dont sell it separate. Thell force you to buy an entire forward reverse knob ! ! ! Even with the knob, it shouldnt be more than $50 - which still gives em room for a 200% markup. What a rip. But again nice boat

I have rented from other Duffy rental companies before and have been pleased, but chose this place over other great options as a recommendation.My main issue is the customer service. The front desk people were not helpful and quite unaccommodating. I received a call 5 minutes prior to my reservation time letting me know that the advertised free ice service was not available that day. I, of course, had no time to then get ice for the drinks I brought to celebrate with friends for their birthdays.To top that off, we were a few minutes late in returning our boat and for those few minutes, unbeknownst to me, I was charged $50! Mind you a portion of the extra time included a necessary (and requested) wait for other boats to pull in to the dock as 3 boats returned at the same time.The Duffys are clean and worked well, and the guys on the dock are great! The customer service, however, is not worth the premium you pay here compared with the many other Duffy options in Newport.

They made it really easy to rent Duffy boats here. They help you get out to the Bay as well as take care of trash for you. I also appreciated the free popcorn

Great experience and lots of fun. I rented one the these boats for my wedding and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The boat was extremely easy to drive and we were able to have a beautiful ending night of our wedding day.

Not sure about service, but this boat rental is such a great idea. Bring a picnic lunch and some alcohol. Also, friends or family. Its so much fun!

It wasnt that I hated the boat so much as I hated the customer service. The emplyees there have to understand that youre on a boat in the ocean! If youre a few minutes late to your check in time it isnt the end of the world. Life goes on. You wont be getting my business again.

Perfect choice for adult birthday celebration. Had 8 people on board so everyone was comfortable. Staff was fantastic. Training took 90 seconds and we were off.Easy to manuever. Great sunset views. Only thing we had to worry about was watching for other boat traffic. Took a couple of party appet trays, a cooler with bevs, wine opener, plastic glasses, paper towels and a garbage bag. We had a great time and will repeat soon.

Im glad my husband n I decided to do this with another couple that are friends of ours. It was our 17th year anniversary celebration n we wanted to do something laid back. Mind u we own 2 boats ourselves, but it was absolutely nice not to haul out a boat to the ocean n clean up the boat afterwards. It was like a mini party boat. With a hookup for a phone to play music n they provided ice, popcorn, map of the harbor, n u can purchase snacks & drinks. Which I was glad bc I needed a snack before we went to dinner afterwards. Since it is breast cancer month they asked for dontations for the cause n I gladly did n they even offered a gift for the donation. I picked a pink bookmark, which I actually needed one. We picked the evening ride from 5-7 so we can get a beautiful view of the sunset n to our suprise we saw n took pictures of our back ground with a full rainbow. I have to say it was one of the best anniversary ideas we experienced. It was a beautiful n romantic ride. I loved that there were even plastic zippable windows so we didnt freeze. Memorable for sure!!!!
