We have been going here for years. Our Land Rover is 13 years old after all. We love it so much we just keep getting it repaired and maintained here since the beginning. The service is always great! I do wish theyd call with updates more consistently but the service is always professional. We dropped off our car for a routine oil change and for some A/C freon and upon picking up there was another issue. However, Doug came in and took care of things so quickly for us. It was very much appreciated and he was very easy to communicate with and made sure we were well taken care of. I know the staff is very busy and I just want to say thank you so much for treating all of your guests with care and not rushing us through and hearing us out. Thank you so much, Doug! You have made all of this one of the best service experiences ever!
Took my 2018 RR Sport for an annual service. Was promptly met by my service advisor, Dan who did not rush and took his time to explain what the service entailed. Very honest and extremely courteous! Got a loaner Discovery and the process was quick and painless. Got my serviced vehicle delivered the next afternoon as promised, fully cleaned and washed. Overall, was a fantastic experience. Special kudos to Dan!!

This review is primarily for service advisor Robin and the manager Doug who seem wholly incompetent at their jobs. They also are not honest and transparent. If you look at all the positive reviews, youll see that not one of them mention either two individuals. I checked because I could not understand how either of them were employed there. Robin is always late, and rarely at his desk. He says that he will update you then never does. When you then call, he will act surprised and then say that theres an update. You will the ask him about the service provided or about the problem. He will proceed to tell you that he doesnt know. Or if he does attempt to explain something to you, he will provide you inaccurate information. He once told me that the car was unsafe and needed to be brought in ASAP. He then called me to tell me that everything was in working order. I then looked at the service order and they couldnt figure out what the source of the problem was...which of course happened again. I think both him and Doug are confused with the distinction between something being fixed and not knowing what the source of a problem is. They are not to be trusted.
Great experience! Was here for my first time to get my car serviced. Jeff was great…. He was on top of things. Easy to get in and out. They sent a video from the tech explaining the brakes and tire wear, which is very cool! Overall great experience!

Manager Sandra contacted me and was extremely helpful, and they have always been great for the four years we have used them since we bought our F-Pace. We will not be going to any other brand.
First, I made an appointment with a specific service advisor requesting not to be with Armando. They made an appointment a week out, which is already ridiculous (since local dealership can’t provide service in an acceptable time window I probably won’t buy another Range Rover), and then when I got a call from the service provider it was Armando. My car was having an issue with the infotainment system and had no sound and was draining my battery, as something wasn’t turning off when the car was off. By the time we could get into service my battery was totally dead and we had to jump the car. While the car was on the way to the dealership for service, with their valet service, I called the service center twice to speak with our service advisor to explain was had happened and what the concern were, I received no call back until Armando called once the car had arrived. When Armando called to ask what was going on with the car I started to explain everything and he rudely interrupted me, saying he needed to get a pen and paper to “write ALL of this down.” This is literally what you do for a living, so maybe you should make sure you have a pen and paper available before you call and interrupt a customers day without being ready for the information you’re asking for, but maybe that’s too much to ask. When we got a text message back on Thursday it was a list of all the suggested maintenance to be completed on the car without any mention of the actual issues the car was brought in for. When I asked for an update on the actual issues, Armando said “everything is functioning correctly with no fault codes, and the technician could not get the car to repeat the reported issues.” I’ve dealt with this dealership before with my Jaguar that was having an issue with a flickering infotainment system, and they could never get the car to repeat the issue. They clearly don’t try very hard, I had video after video of what the car was doing and in the end after 3 visits for the same thing they recommended we replaced both batteries even though they didn’t have issues because they felt that was the issue. After spending over 2K on battery replacements the car still did the same thing, and eventually I just got rid of it. When I came to pick the car up, I saw on the paperwork that the battery had been replaced, but again per Armando everything was functioning correctly. Armando is rude, abrupt, passive aggressive, and unprofessional. Clearly they are understaffed after they obliterated their staff during Covid, my previous service advisor is gone, and they aren’t capable of dealing with the service required for the cars they sell. We’ve been loyal customers doing all our service through this dealership as well as purchasing cars, but I’m officially over it. Moving on! We’ll go to South Bay and deal with Auto Nation.
I used the dealer valet service where the came to the house to pick up the car and brought it back after the service is done. Super convenient! The Velar was in for regular maintenance and couples bulletin items from the manufacturer. Dan updated me on the status every step of the way. Great service!!!
I brought my car in for an annual service, the advisor and technician were very helpful with what I needed to watch out for and what they recommended needed to be changed. Unfortunately, there was a small scratch on my car but they were willing to reimburse me for it. Which I really appreciated.

Every one was very polite and professional great environment, although they did have my vehicle for over a month on a service that was supposed to take a couple days (received a loaner vehicle) When I picked up my vehicle the low coolant light was on and both passenger and drivers side seat belts were non functional so had to wait almost an hour for this to be remedied. All in all the experience was good but there’s always room for improvement

I had such a great experience at this location. Armando was my service advisor and he provided exceptional customer service. He was so knowledgeable, taking the time to explain and showed me all the features on my car (something the salesperson did not do when purchasing my car). I definitely recommend going to this location because they get you in and out along with providing awesome customer service. $3500 for labor and $3000 on parts for a coolant pipe and front brakes replacement is a bit rich. I checked with the Rover Doctor as well as other dealerships and the came between $1500 to$2000 less. They called it a rip-off and 1 person said let me guess “ The Newport Jaguar Land Rover. They keep me in business.”I had my car towed the next day and to add insult to injury I was charged $245 for diagnostic.Highly disappointing.
Horrible. Worse service ever. Zero on a scale of 1-10. Failed on EVERY level. Had my car for 11 days. When I finally picked up my car the service agent read to me the invoice. I asked what does that mean and over and over he said I don’t know. I finally said I can read this myself. Several guys overheard and started clapping. I still don’t know what was wrong with my car. But most likely it’s a lemon because they don’t know either. This is the 19th Range Rover I have owned and most likely will be my last after this fiasco of a service call.
Wanted to charge me 2k for rotors I didn’t need and break pads only on the front of the car. Took my car to mission viejo where I bought it and they found that the only thing I needed was break pads and they said the measurements that Newport gave me on the pads was wrong. Needless to say I was being ripped off for services I didn’t need and overcharged for the services I did need. Went to mission viejo and they did all 4 break pads and break fluid for 1500. If you care about what you’re spending and want an honest service estimate do not go here for service.

The whole crew (Service Rep, Enterprise Rep, and Mechanic) treated me very professionally and politely. The customer service rep Dan, actually listened to what I said and paid attention to detail. The only reason I am not giving five stars is the turnaround time seemed a little long. They gave me a complementary rental car which saved my days! The mechanic sent me a video of the inspection which I greatly appreciated. The mechanic also paid attention to great detail. I was very impressed with everything except the turnaround time. The service I had was to repair my passenger side locks and replace one remote fob.

I’ve purchased cars at both JLR Anaheim Hills and JLR Newport Beach. By far, JLR Newport Beach services exceeds the dealership closer to my home that’d I’d rather drive an extra 10 miles to go down to Newport Beach.

We bought a Range rover from Newport Range Rover and paid for extended warranty 100k miles. My wife went for a repair and they said it was not covered. I had to go find my original paperwork and bring it back in to get the problem fixed. I told them to please input info in service repair system so my wife would not have to deal with next time she was in and they said they would. The next time she came in, same problem! This time i called Range Rover Newport the place i bought the car and spent over 2 hours trying to get them to cover this. I was told the sold company to new company and that each dept is on there own. WHAT A JOKE! I will not be back

A new car with only 1,000 miles stopped on Freeway, and it was a terrible memory, but whats worse is that the service youve heard in two months is that you cant fix the car, so you dont know why. And there has been no answer since. Ive been in touch with messages numerous times and they never respond and theyre not doing anything and giving me any progress, and the loaner car they offered had problems twice, but the service sign is still in and the car is just parked in my house.Im on the worst service right now.Shame on you guys for working there.
The vehicle was just back from the Annual Service and we found coolant leaking because of no clamps on the hose which was connected to water pump and the other end to engine. Called Roadside Assistance and vehicle (2019 Velar) was towed on Saturday night to dealer and parked outside the gate till Monday. How could this be overlooked after Annual Service? They need to implement QA/QC to make sure this is caught before the vehicle is sent out. We are lucky this was caught near the house because if it was on freeway and was not caught early it could have damaged the engine.The service adviser (Jeff Townsend) was excellent as this is not his fault and he has always provided excellent customer service.
I was welcomed by Robin at the smart new service center in Dove St. The check-in was fast and professional. I sat in the comfortable customer waiting room and offered a choice of coffees by the attending lady.In less than one hour Robin came with the keys and paperwork and my car was ready outside the front door. A very satisfactory experience.
The guys in the service department have always taken care of my car and me. Steve has been my go to guy now for 5 almost 6 years. He does a great job of taking care of my cars and keeping me up to date on when I need to come in. I have lived in LA and currently live in SD and I still take my cars there for service, mainly because of the service I get from Steve and the team there.

Best service department in the united states. I travel to say frequently would an understand statement. And always in one of my land rovers. When other land rover service departments charge extra this place does it as a courtesy. And the customer service is an example of with it should be everywhere.

When you call to set up a service and speak to the service manager, you would expect that an appointment would be put into their system and the service will be done promptly and professionally. This was clearly not the case on this visit where I had contacted the service manager the night before and brought the car in the next morning only to find out that there was no appointment made. Additionally, I was also told that there were two computer upgrades to my Jaguar system and I was not notified of either.When I called the service department at 4 PM to arrange pickup, I received a voicemail message saying they were closed even though the department was open. I just drove over there to pick up my car only to find out that it was not yet ready and no one gave me a courtesy call to let me know it will take an additional day to complete the work. When I finally did pick up the car on the following day, I was greeted with tremendous apathy. The service personnel had no interest in my problems with their care!I love my Jaguar F-Pace but will never purchase or service a car in this location again.
I recently had the annual service on my 2020 Velar and was so impressed with the dealership efficiency and courtesy. I was always in contact by email and txt on the service progress and any discovered problems.Our family has presently 3 cars from this dealership and the service to them all has been outstanding

Newport Beach is the elite of Jaguar/Land Rover Service Centers. I have had my Land Rover serviced at other Rover dealerships throughout Orange & LA Counties and they do not compare. They did such a thorough inspection & found a few critical repairs needed & offered a loaner car while mine was being serviced at no extra cost. If you are not from the area, the trip to Newport is worth it!
I had the Calijet sealer service done to my vehicle outside and inside. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. My vehicle looked like it just came off of the showroom floor. The attention to detail was amazing. The staff and workers were very professional and represented the excellence you expect from the Jaguar Land Rover brand.

1/8/2021.My vehicle has been at JLR Newport Beach for 4 months now. At 1,103 miles my 2020 Range Rover sport svr motor went out. The vehicle was picked up and towed to the dealer by Jaguar Land Rover towing and has been there ever since. My service advisor was robin who was kind but not helpful and the service director Douglas was as rude as they come. From the start they did not care about the issues of my vehicle. Originally I was told the motor has issues and would be replaced under warranty. After many weeks of testing they decided to say that the motor ceased and that it was a non warranty issue. To that answer I didn’t agree to sign any paperwork stating the repairs. Fast forward; Due to covid, parts and replacements were delayed and up until recently they were received. The vehicle had motor issues when it arrived but only ceased in ten possession of Jaguar Land Rover Newport Beach possession. Not only did they deceive me about vehicle coverage, they proceeded to damage the vehicle more. When the parts came I stated DO NOT repair my vehicle because I felt that they were incompetent, magically overnight my motor as replaced even though I was told it was a 7-10 job. Present, I’m stuck with a 50,000 maintenance bill, no answers, no respect, no access to my car, 4 corporate claims and no answers. Throughout the process I’ve paid the remaining balance for the car and insurance exceeding 12 thousand dollars, zero rental cars and not to mention any help for my other 2 recently purchased range rovers and the other 2 I had on order. The dealer has treated me anything but great and has profiled me for wanting to look at my car and obtain pictures of damage they caused. The service department at Newport Beach Land Rover is amongst the worst I’ve ever dealt with and I’ll never go back or buy another car from them. Corporate is kind but not help at all either and claims to consumer fairs doesn’t get you very far. I’m very disappointed and will make sure everyone I know in the auto community never buys from this dealer. Jaguar Land Rover Newport Beach will happily take your money and leave you in the dark.

Been coming to this dealership for a few years on and off and never had a problem. Recently I took my car for a regular service and to top off the freon. The price they quoted seemed high so I decided not to go through with freon. For a regular oil change I was charged almost double $350. I have been the proud owner of a Jaguar for years now and for a basic oil change its almost always around $200.00. After the service was done and realized the price difference. I then asked my service advisor why the price had gone up so much and what they had done to the car. He condescending response was that, its on the paper like the price and the price fluctuates from time to time. Its not always going to be the same. So basically your saying you can just rip people off when you feel like it. Being unsatisfied with this response I called the service manager to try to find out why the price had fluctuated so greatly. I called multiple times and left messages but no response. I am greatly disappointed with the customer service. I even changed my license plate frame because I was so disappointed and I cant go around advertising a place that I dont support. Looks like Ill be looking for a new place to get my car serviced.
This is my 2nd car purchase from this dealership. Rich Martin is an awesome salesman and is not like the normal car salesman. Two cars thru him. Finance gets you in and out too. Always the fastest car buying process... so much easier than the other dealers. LOVE this dealership. And service center is awesome too

This is the place to go to have your Disco serviced. I bought my 2003 Disco from them and have had is serviced [everything] with them. The service department goes above the call of duty to address all issues in your car, and if it does not need repairs they will tell you so. They are honest hardworking folks and have customer comes first work ethics. David Elliott the service manager is knowledgeable and his staff know what they are doing. I have been to other shops before for minor issues and they try to up sell you on things you dont need. Twice I learned my lesson by taking my car to other places and ended up taking it back to Land Rover NB to fix what the other shops messed up on the car. I recommend Jaguar Land rover NB highly.
The oil change took days longer than committed and communication was horrible. I went out of my way to get to Newport Beach Service, because our sales experience was good. I will not be back.

I was disappointed in Land Rover Service in Newport Beach. I brought my car in with my 2020 Range Rover HSE system stating an System Charging Failure . The service department Manager stated that there were no codes that came up for this failure. I told the service technician when I picked up the car that this would show up soon and there was definitely an issue. He stated that the car was in good condition and I should not worry. I googled this and turns out his statement was incorrect and codes would show up for this failure. I drove the car on the freeway a few days later and the same failure came back and my car was stopped on the freeway in a lane with no emergency shoulders available. I called Land Rover Roadside assistance and they stated that it would take 1-1/2 hours to get my vehicle off the freeway. My life was in danger due to the incompetence of the service departments failure as well as the slow reaction time of the Roadside assistance. I had my car towed back to the service department in Newport beach. What do you know. The system charging failure showed up in the codes on the computer this time. Magic. The service manager was argumentative and dismissive of my situation and concerns. I would think twice about using this dealership for any repairs. Also, In the initial visit I requested repair of another warranty item. It was dismissed and ignored.
Unable to repair, had to order parts, told to return in 30 days or more.
Out of state buyers beware!This dealership does not know how to help customers out of state and will leave you hanging without required documentation to title your car.I recently purchased a Jaguar XF Sportbrake from Heath. This is my fourth purchase from out of my home state of Florida. Never before have I had any issues, but I must have been lucky with getting good dealers. This dealership is not one of them.After paying for the car in cash, shipping was delayed by over six days due to dealership paperwork issues. I had to submit several rounds of signed documents only for those to be deemed incorrect and have to resubmit again. The dealer has random requirements like submitting signatures and notarized proof of delivery of the vehicle out of state, even though they were the ones who sold and put it on the delivery truck. Incredibly frustrating but it got worse.Once the car arrived, weeks after I had paid for it, it was delivered without a temporary tag or a title/MSO. This means the car is impossible for me to register, as it needs to be physically present at the DMV for an odometer disclosure and must have the title/MSO with the car.Without a temp tag it can’t even be parked on the street. So the car is now sitting in the driveway with no resolution in sight.When contacting the dealership I was told that this is my problem and not theirs.Terrible customer service and a sign of serious problems at this dealership. Steer clear (especially if you are from out of state) and purchase from someone who knows what they are doing.

I am so happy that I came to Land Rover Newport Beach! My car had an issue with the Turbo and manifold. Even though I did not buy my Evoque from them they treated me extremely well. Initially it was looking like it would cost me $500 to fix the issue. However, Luke and his team identified an issue that they could put under a warranty!! They replace my turbo and it did not cost me a cent!. It is my first Land Rover and based on how they stood behind their product and how they handled this situation I will recommend not only buying a LandRover but if you do go to Land Rover Newport Beach.Thank you Luke!!
