After setting up an appointment for a 9am today (a week in advanced) for brake pads and a oil change i dropped my vehicle off 30 minutes early. After being forwarded to the service members voicemail around noon I took it upon myself to come back and have a walk around. At 2pm I find my truck parked to where they would have to move over vehicles just to even start the service of my vehicle, 5 hours after initial appointment. Not a single manager came to discuss this issue with me. As someone who grew up here in Newnan it’s sad to see this type of disrespect and lack of care for customers and their time.

First service done on my 2019 Malibu, oil change and tire rotation. I made an appointment and the took the car time in time I arrived. They told me there was a recall on my vehicle and offered to go ahead and put the replacement part on. They said it would add on another hour to the original service time, however they completed everything in under 90 minutes. They were fast and efficient

Well, considering I had my check engine light on 5 times throughout the little time of buying it and only having 21,000 miles on it. Hopefully this last time it was actually fixed, assuming all the other times they must have reset it so it would go off for a lil while, having me think the issue was fixed when it wasnt. I had a bad pump and after making a big deal about my light being on 5 xs they decided to actually diagnose and fix the problem. And I wont even go into other reasons why I do not like the service department. They even put a car on the wrong lift causing it major damage just to tell the girl to drive it to a bmw place, thank God she works in the legal field and knew better. I just feel bad for ladies that get taken advantage of just because they are a woman! Hopefully in future they can change my view on the service department, meaning the ones actually working on them. Im sure once this is reviewed by the owner things will get better! I love my sales guy Benny! He is an amazing guy trying to get the right things done for everyone! Thank you Benny!

Initially, it looked like this dealership was not going to honor a super low internet price. They said the incentive ran out quickly. However, they went above and beyond to secure me a truck and honor the stated price. Benny was easy to work with and I understand why he gets so much repeat business. Southtowne is now my go to shop for Chevys. I got a great truck today, and I am grateful for their dedication and commitment to putting the customer first

I live in South Louisiana and saw the Sierra for just under $20K, inquired about the truck, they called first thing in the morning, the lady was friendly, but would not sell me the truck. Said I can only buy it if I come in. Said they dont do holds on managers specials and theres no negotiating on price, I said thats fine if someone comes in and buys it in the middle of the loan ap then thats okay. Still wouldnt sell it to me.Dont quite get how it matters unless she just didnt like that I sound young and thinks I wont get approved or of theyre trying to upsell others. Got 750 credit and a cosigner with 845 credit if I needed. Going ahead with the one star.

Service appointment requiring new door handle for a LaCrosse. Also had oil changed and a new battery installed. Overall, good job. But I checked under hood before I left. Oil cap on top was loose - in place but not screwed all the way down. Battery box lid was just sitting on top and not snapped back into place. Bill - $794.00. That’s not a typo.

I ordered an OEM scissor jack for my 2017 Volt from Southtowne. After the part came in, I didnt think it was the correct one so parts rep (Mr. W) called GM to make sure it was correct. Thats the kind of over and above service I dont get many places. He took my concern seriously, was thorough, and followed-up- just for a $50 jack. If I need parts or service Ill be back.

I was really upset that I found 3 inches of water in my 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. Then I had an appointment scheduled but service was delayed a week. But why 5 stars? The humility and kindness demonstrated by David Huff, Service Manager was outstanding. Yep, stuff happens and the Customer is more forgiving when the matter is handed with sincerity and reassurance.

Service was sub par., Not very welcoming when I pulled in the service bay. I went to get an oil change and to get my traction control light to be checked out on my gmc 1500. I was ok with waiting I didnt have an appointment and I had cleared up my schedule just to do this. I mentioned this to my service writer and the only reason I came here was to get the traction light looked at. I normally do the oil changes myself. I got the oil change back quick but when I mention about having the traction looked at my service advisor said I would have to set an appointment. It was not busy and I was not worried about waiting. Ill never come back to this dealership. They dont really take customer service seriously.

I hope customers will read this review I have typed out. Im a former employee of this dealerships service department. They do not care about your car not even in the slightest. The higher-ups do not care about their technicians and are under-paid and under-trained. There were never any opportunities to advance. The employees are always goofing off and carrying out antics in customer vehicles. Your car sits in the lot while customers who arrived after you are getting their vehicle serviced before you. The majority of the employees hired here have now clue to what theyre doing or how to perform basic maintenance work. This dealership is a mockery of how a dealership is supposed to run and operate. Your satisfaction as a customer is not the main goal of the employees here. Instead, its how many upsales they can steal out of your hard earned money that you work for day and night. They only care about two things, the time to leave and the green paper that goes to the bank.- A Former Southtowne GM Employee

For Preston and Brad in service-I just want to thank Preston and Brad for everything they have done today! I will recommend everyone I talk to from here on out to try out Southtowne in Newnan first because I got treated the way every customer should be treated today .For sales - I originally wanted to purchase a truck through Southtowne but didn’t really feel like I was getting taken seriously and only got around 30 mins with a salesperson and basically had to leave and go to another dealership and buy the truck I have now . Which is a 2014 GMC Sierra that is terrible and I have had problems with it since the day I purchased it from a dealership in Lagrange . Maybe one day whenever I finally get to where it can be traded in I can give y’all another chance to be satisfied with the sales department .

I live 90 minutes away and emailed the dealership. Basically, I saw an advertisement in Autotrader, and I asked Liz for a turn key price. She insisted that I drive to the dealership. I explained the distance and that I wanted something firm before I drove 3 hours round trip. She said without coming to the showroom, the best price is the internet price. I explained that some of the discounts in the price didnt apply to my situation (no trade, etc). I told her we could discuss price via email. Her answer was word for word, Unfortunately thats (sic) not how we do business. For a new car purchase, it doesnt seem to be asking a lot. I also got a robo email from her manager, Chad. I responded to it, and I never heard back from him either. If you look at some of the other google complaints, price changes and no longer available vehicles were complaints mentioned by people that drove longer distances to see them. I honestly didnt get a good vibe from them, so just be diligent and careful if you choose to do business with them. Ive purchased many new vehicles in the past, and Ive never had a situation where a dealership put so little effort into selling a vehicle.

My visits here were for parts and service and this dealership exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I ended up have to go out of town unexpectedly and needed my truck serviced before I left. I called around to several dealers, even the dealer I bought it from, and no one could get to it. It was my fault for waiting until mid afternoon to start calling, but when I got them on the phone at Southtowne, the tech told me come on down, we will work you in. I expected 2 or 3 hours wait time for service ( my diesel takes an hour on a good day) and the tech told me probably 2 hours. To my surprise, he came got me at 1 hour and 20 minutes with it completed. They did everything I asked and even did a full vehicle inspection as I told them I was going out of town to make sure I was in for no surprises on the road. They have earned a customer and I suggest them to everyone for service.
