Will is awesome. He is friendly and an expert in his trade. He took the time to educate me on using a blend vs pure synthetic oil and it really changed how often I was coming to get my oil changed. I had wonderful customer service with him.

They looked awful. I thought it was sun damage but I believe he said it was oxidized paint. In less than 15 minutes he had half the car looking brand new. I thought I was going to have to repaint it but he saved me from having to do that. They offer a lifetime warranty so if it comes back over time you can bring it back to get it touched up. I highly recommend getting this done.Thank you so much!

Murphys Law Incarnate:My vehicle was taken to Havoline Express Lube because of an overheating problem. I needed this vehicle to be ready to transport me to a job interview in Marietta about an hour away. The work order was made out to have the cooling system checked for leaks, working fans, dye injected into the system, placing a pressure check on the system and so forth. Long story, short version: approximately an hour after paying for supposedly completed, professional work and driving away from this shop, I found myself stranded outside of Marietta. The cause? The vehicle overheated. After four days of not being able to secure Triple A service an independent operator was called to tow the vehicle back to Havoline Express Lube.A different manager was on duty (African-American male, bearded about 61). He was sympathetic and agreed to examine the vehicle. He found several issues with the cooling system. Primarily there was a crack in the radiator. His solution to the overheating problem required replacing the radiator, the hoses. the coolant temperature sensor, the fan assembly and control module. Moreover, the Monday crew should have noticed these deficiencies and given the customer the options for having them fixed. Instead the Monday crew declared the vehicle as 100% road worthy, collected the payment and sent an unsuspecting customer onto the highway driving a vehicle that was most certainly going to overheat. Consequently, this driver was left stranded without air conditioning on a day of ninety-plus degree heat.The insert below details a series of unfortunate events set in motion because of the negligence of the Monday crew at Havoline Express Lube.These actions necessitated an expensive tow back to Sharpsburg. I believe that Havoline should refund my payment for the shoddy service and pay for the towing costs incurred. The vehicle was towed to Havoline on a Saturday.However, it should be noted that there was one ethical and professional tech (57 White Male - 20-something) who approached my brother to say that he had been working in the service bay next to my vehicle on Monday. He noticed the leaks coming from my vehicle and reported to the Technicians assigned to the job. He was quite surprised when the report was simply ignored.Resulting ramifications:3 Triple A Tows were scheduled between 3:25pm and 11:00pm / All Were No Shows / No Cancellation Notices.Dear Support Team:I have been a satisfied AAA member for many years. Which is why this failure is such a disappointment. Not only was service unavailable on this date, during the next 3 days no AAA provider was available to accept this job. Several reported that the trip was out of their district i. e. Marietta, GA to Sharpsburg, GA. What is the point of having AAA Plus when operators wont travel as requested?The result was that an independent towing service had to be employed.I missed my job interview for a six-figure position. Other opportunity costs include lost wages as an Uber/Lyft driver. At an average of $25 per hour times 60 hours this amounts to $1500.I am respectfully requesting that AAA reimburse me for the third party towing costs noted on this application.Thank you,

I’ve been coming here since they opened and I love it, they always explain everything to me and let me look at what they need to fix. They also have ladies Wednesday where the oil change is cheaper. They always take really great care of me!!!

They never did the usual routine checks, tires, air filter, windshield wipers…The things you get from the general charge ….. they check it off on the paperwork…… but all they do is oil dump, fill, credit card and see ya !!!

I had a coupon in the mail for $19.95 oil change but I paid 29.95. They did not know how to reset my change oil sensor so ever since Ive left I need to hit a button to turn it off . I had to ask for a reminder sticker and only got an receipt. Nothing on my filters or anything else. Nope I wont return

Went get a emission today pull up, the guy ask me what services I needed and told him. He said pull to the 3rd bay. Turn around and said the guy behind me was here 1st he needs to go before. I said if he was here 1st he would be in front of me not behind me. He said but hes my coworker. Lol what kind of place put employees 1st. He need to be working and doing those things like that before or after all customer leave. Im a paying customer. I always go there for oil. Not anymore. Not professional at all.

My family has been going here since they opened. I have went as well. I recently went here for an oil change. I pulled up to the bay as instructed. A younger guy came over laughing and asked I needed. I said an oil change. About 20 minutes go by and a manager (about 30 years of age with alot of dark hair - not sure of his name) came over to my car, he was laughing as well. He asked what I needed - again I said an oil change. He said - oh, its going to be expensive I asked how much and why. He said this is a bmw, you should take it back to where you purchased it I said its an hour drive and that we come here for all of our vehichles (my bmw as well) He laughed out loud and said atleast $140.00. I said ok - he then said well, I dont have what I need to service your oil change. The whole time laughing like it was a joke.I backed out and left. I called tired express, they saw me the same day and only charged 42.00.We will never go back to Havoline again.The worst customer service.

Only thing on the check list that was done was changing the oil and oil filter. While putting in new oil that attendant overflowed the funnel. Oil was all over the engine, everywhere!!. The manager was eating his lunch when I went inside the office to express my dissatisfaction and to collect my bank card and told the manager that I wouldnt be back. The bay doors were closed as he stood up and told me to leave then. I said Id leave as soon as they open the door. Before I could get to my truck the manager comes out of the office threatening me and yelling go on!!!. I call the police for a report of the incident. I call corporate to complain about the lack of service and the actions of the manager. I was contacted but the person I spoke with was unprofessional as well. He offered my money back and I refused, stating Id rather he do something about the manager who threatened me. Disgusted with the unprofessionalism. If not for his co-workers stepping between him and my vehicle I would have been forced to defend myself. Being a Veteran and a CQC hand to hand combat instructor for 6 years in the military, I would have most certainly given him a very bad day. This was Jan. 9th 2021 around noon. Do not go to this location!!

Don’t expect to get an emissions test here. Stopped by two days in a row. Supposedly they only have one inspector that does emissions when it’s convenient for him. Don’t waist your time driving and trying to get an emissions test take your money elsewhere!

William Murray and the other associate at the Havoline in Newnan have always done excellent work on the emissions when I come in to have it done. I will be coming back next year to have the emissions done on my 2016 VW Jetta

I went for an OIL CHANGE and I was instantly overwhelmed by an employee that insisted I get a new battery. I was told that if CRC spray turns pink it means the battery is bad which is not necessarily the case since it is an average battery cleaner. When the spray turned pink he showed me it as a scare tactic to make me think that my battery was terribly bad. As a female, I dont know much about cars so I believed him but after buying the new $219 battery from Havoline I called Toyota of Newnan for a record on my previous battery testing and it tested a good battery 6/22/2020 THREE MONTHS AGO at 12.64V rated 570CCA measured at 430CCA. MY BATTERY WAS NOT BAD. They were just trying to make a quick buck off of a female that doesnt know anything. The Diretor of Retail Operations, Luke Cutlip does not answer the phone or call back, the District manager is rude and not helpful. I feel completely SCAMMED. I definitely would not recommend to go here. Havoline in Newnan has very deceitful employees.

Emissions test was a total disaster and waste of time and money. Original owner of Honda Odyssey. They told me my car failed emissions because of bad gas cap and I needed to replace it. I am a ASE technician, there were no check engine lights nor stored or pending diagnostic codes. I asked how they knew it was a gas cap without any other supporting information and they said it was from their experience. Time was running out so I ordered another gas cap from dealer and had car retested a week later. Guess what, when they hooked up their machine for the retest it showed initial test . How could that be? Technician was completely confused, asked me if I had replaced the engine computer and then told me I would have to take my car to the Georgia Clean Air Force center in Atlanta for further testing. What?? Then I started looking at the original test sheet that they gave me after I failed the test. I immediately noticed a different license plate number on the test sheet than what my tag number was. I told technician that they inputted wrong data into their machine and to perform a new initial test with the correct tag information. Success! My perfectly maintained car passed emissions, but not without needlessly replacing parts, wasting time and pointing out testing errors to the technician. Beware..

Sent my teenage daughter to get an oil change using conventional oil which I myself had done on numerous occasions at this location they insisted she needed synthetic she was unable to reach me by phone and after several conversations they still insisted she needed synthetic and she felt pressured and uncomfortable and went ahead with the service. they should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of a young teenage girl. We wont be back.UPDATEafter speaking with the manager he issued a 100% refund for the oil change and apologized.

The service technician recommended that the battery should be changed because it was leaking. After returning home the battery was removed to check for a leak. All the cells were full of acid and no evidence of a leak below the battery in the plastic tray. Battery functions normal and no leak. The battery was reinstalled in car.

Very odd... thought I would try them for the first time. Greeter quoted me over $100 for an oil change that the Dealer does for half the cost. Blamed the cost on the type of car. I’m not an idiot, he just didn’t want to put out his cigarette and work.

I recommend finding another place. Some of the staff made inappropriate comments about my daughter. It was witnessed by another patron who stayed with her. My wife tried to speak to the manager, but to no avail. We’re going to contact Havoline Corporate Offices for a meeting.

Best experience I ever had getting an oil change they had me in and out in literally 10 minutes I’m working with very little time today because I have 1 million errands to run and they did exactly what I needed them to do and that was to give me a quick oil change talk to me about the other services like I said I was on very limited time so will definitely come back and look into their other services in the future.Manager Josh was definitely someone who knew what he was talking about

These guys changed my oil but didnt do anything else like check the tires, washer fluid or any of that. I had a low pressure light on when I got there and when they said they were done it was still on! I drove it back around and watched them finish the job they should have done in the first place.

Best oil changing and emmisons place in the area. The staff are great especially the manager. Theyre very knowledgeable about different issues with your vechile and are completely honest and fair, which is hard to find. Definitely the only place I get my oil changed!
