Another dishonest car dealer. I lost the key to my 2017 GMC Sierra. I bought a key from the dealer and then they wanted $130+ to program it. I told the service representative that my manual stated that I could self program the key. He stated that I was wrong and I would not be able to program the key. Well, he was wrong! The key programmed just as the manual stated. I saved $130+ from this dishonest dealership!

Today, my wife bought her first new car-a 2021 Traverse-Tyler was our salesman and his laidback, non-pushy approach is the reason why we bought the car. He was there for us all the way. He needs a raise, and when I want to trade in my truck, I pray that he is still working there because when I walk thru those doors I’ll ask for him. He’s not your typical salesman and that’s what made it so refreshing.

I can’t believe I’ve given this place another chance but they never fail to disappoint back there in the Service Dept. Service Advisor Tim Jackson must now be a certified ASE mechanic. He has the ability to diagnose your vehicle without even sending it back to the actual mechanic. NEVER will I, or if I can help it, any of my friends or family ever do business here again.

Not a good place for Customer Service. They made me feel like I was an inconvenience. When I arrived people were sitting back in their chairs reading their iPhones and not one of them asked if they could help me. Somebody eventually did when I made eye contact with them but then they proceeded to tell me I needed to talk to someone else and just pointed at another person. After the service I asked what the towing capacity of my truck was (I have a Fifth Wheel and am looking to upgrade) and I was told ( and I quote), I dont have a clue and wouldnt know how to find out. go and see a salesperson. Really classy!!!! Im in the market for a new truck (need to trade in my 2500 for a 3500) and guess where I wont be going to spend my money?

Bought a used car from here. The minor-Check engine light came on that evening. Took it back for repairs. After they kept it for a month, told me there was nothing they could do. Spoke to manager (mark lentz) he replied, you bought it its your problem.The major- Sales person was Cam. When buying I was shown auto check which reported minor accident. Asked about damage/accident. Was told is was minor damage which broke a fog light. Went to trade the car in at another dealer one month later found out the car has been totaled. Lost thousands on this deal.DECEITFUL DEALER - BEWARE!

I bought a 2021 GMC Acadia from Benny Dodd and Chas Brown helped out as well. Benny was very knowledgeable and personal which was great because he was so easy to talk to. Chas made sure the my vehicle was full of gas and got cleaned and both of them checked on me while I was waiting to get approved for financing. While I was unpacking my other car into the new one Chas helped me put some of my heavy items in the Acadia and they both stood there making sure I was good to go while I was unpacking. These guy went above and beyond a car salesman they actually cared. Thank you so much for caring and making me feel appreciated!!

This would be a first for me. Took my 1998 Chevrolet up to this CHEVROLET dealership to get some work done on it. Their service department took the truck in, only to call me the following day and tell me “I should take it elsewhere because their none of their employees wanted to even look at it”.

I drove over an hour and a half for a car they had listed on car gurus to get told after I got here they want sale it to me for the advertised price. I made it very clear we had financing already set up for a first time buyer and they said sorry we have to add money back to the price if u don’t use them for financing and have a trade. Buyer beware and read the fine print before u waste a trip

It is very hard to get in touch with the department that handles gap insurance i have called every day for 10 days and have yet to speak with someone I left at least 7 voice mails and at this point I am just being ignored I hate that I got a car from here and to think I was looking to buy another after the sell is made there customer service is no more beware of what your getting into shopping here

If you’re ok with dishonest, unprofessional, and an unorganized dealerships, this may not be a bad choice. Made and offer, was told to come in to finalize, and when I arrived, they raised the price $2k. When I talked to Mark, the sales manager, his explanation was that he wasn’t the one that made that deal. When I asked to speak to the GM, was told he wasn’t there. I asked to talk to him on the phone and his reply was “I don’t want your business”. What kind of bait and switch is this? Your team gives people a price and when you get to the lot, it goes up. If you don’t like the new, higher price for the exact same truck you’re told to leave? Perhaps they sell so many cars and trucks they can treat people any way they want. Who knows? There are too many other dealerships that would welcome you in and would be happy to sell you a vehicle to be mistreated and disrespected for simply wanting to pay the price you agreed to.

I bought a pickup truck from this dealer, the truck and sales person was fine however the finance manager SCOTT.. WAS A COMPLETE DISHONEST CROOK!!! He put a few things in my contract that I didnt ask for and then lied about it, because of him I will never go back there AGAIN!!!!

I brought a 2020 yukon last month and the sales manager mark lentz was completely dishonest. He told the sales rep one figure but wrote a completely different figure on the form for my trade in. Then he failed to give me the rebates that GMC was offering, when I brought it to his attention after arguing and being completely unprofessional with me his reply was he forgot and was sorry. When my paper work was ready to be signed I told the financial manager that I was not happy with the level of honesty and I was going to leave a review of my experience at Southtown and his reply was if your going to leave a review then we are not going to sale you this vehicle. I’m a 20 year disabled Army veteran and I feel like they was trying to bully me into being quite. This is my 7th GMC and been part of the GM family for years. This type of behavior was completely unacceptable and I think The General manager and GMC corporation should know of the professionalism of their employees. No returning veteran should ever feel the way these people made me feel and I’m completely dissatisfied with my car buying experience. I will ensure that I take my complaints to the highest level of authority within the GMC family. I recommend that those two guys never sale another vehicle. Thank you. Retired Disabled Army Veteran. This place was very friendly. The staff were all helpful and got my dad a new truck. The only thing I didn’t like is that we got there at 10 till 11 and left about 6:30pm. Very time consuming. Overall I liked the staff and everything that they helped my dad with. Thanks Southtowne.

They had a bait and switch add online. The car we were looking for for $13k. We drove an hour south to get there the ad changed to $19k. The salesman said we must be wrong. Then we showed him a screenshot of the $13k ad and he said that they had just sold that one. The ad said three at the $13k price.Today is not a good day to be a car dealer with no integrity. We have lots of options.#scumbags

Be very careful they sold my wife a car with a branded title, went to trade it in at another dealership and told they would not take it. Went to southtown and asked what the h@$l and they kinda sorta made it right. When we initially financed the car we got one deal then 3 days later they called said oh the deal has changed and we need more for a down payment. Some shady things going on there do not think I will ever deal with them again!

This dealer has a civic on the cargurus website listed for a certain amount. Called the dealership to confirm the price. They said that price is only if you have a trade in and are financing with them. The cargurus post did include this information anywhere. False Advertising! Find another dear ship.
