I was very pleased with the project we did with express kitchens the cabinets and granite counter look beautiful. All of the staff was very professional to work with, everyone that came to the house called before they came and they came when they were scheduled. They cleaned up at the end of every day and when there was an issue due to the age of our kitchen the issue was remedied quickly. Bill who was our project manager was exceptional to work with in answering the questions we had in a very timely manor. An if any questions came up he was always in the moment and the whole project exceeded our expectations. I understand why they are growing growing growing they do exceptional work.

Everything was great until they told me the cut out to the sink I had to request. I shouldn’t have to request the cut out when I’m the one who paid for it. Every other company that I have talk to says they give it to you cuz you pay for it well express kitchens people they work with just get rid of them which I highly doubt. It should be asked if you want it or not. I wouldn’t order through them every again

Express kitchen more than exceeded my expectations. I have to be honest. I was alittle nervous because I read some not so good reviews however, we had really great luck with them . Annette helped us with everything. Highly recommend asking for her. Everything came in on time. Everyone showed up on time and our kitchen was done in 3 1/2 weeks . The prices are very reasonable as well.

From start to finish my experience wasnt good. I received numerous quotes, each dated incorrectly and missing items. Im not the professional here so why should I be the one double checking the order to ensure Im getting what I asked for! Once it came time to place order prices went up 15% from previous quote from 4 weeks ago. No one would honor price. Customer service dept is TERRIBLE. Pray you get someone who can even speak clear English. Now Im stuck chasing them to refund my money. Not happy at all with any part of my experience.

Our experience started great and immediately went south after our sales woman closed the deal. She dropped the ball and left us hanging, she wouldnt return our calls nor our emails, and then she was no longer with the company. Our new kitchen and dreams went down the drain......I then reached out to customer service and was connected to (Bill Hesbach) who sensed my discouragement and despair. After listening to me and my concerns. Without skipping a beat. Bill picked up the ball and ran with it. Bill took on all my problems and issues with my project and assumed ownership of my project. From the moment Bill spoke with me on the phone to the very end of the project Bill was hands on and took care of every single detail of my project. Bill went as far as coming to my home personally to oversee my installation. Bill called the town hall for the permits, provided all requirements needed for my permits, he delt with my inspections and personally made sure that my project and our dream kitchen happened exactly as we wanted it to be! I have never seen such customer service in my life! Everyone loves our kitchen and the quality of this product complimented by the customer service we received was truly the best investment that weve made in our home! We are extremely pleased with our new kitchen, the product and service at Express Kitchen and we would recommend anyone thinking of a new kitchen to move forward with Express Kitchen! Ken at the Newington store was AMAZING!! He took the time with my husband and me and really helped us visualize what our kitchen could look like. Once we approved the plan we were scheduled within days. Jay (Jose) our cabinet installer was spot on. His eye for detail and his focus on perfecting the cabinets was not only comforting but he answered any question we had. I would highly recommend Express Kitchens in Newington!! Go and see Ken!! We are so above and beyond satisified.

Bad Quality Cabinets!!!!!! The first time I revived my cabinet they rudder to show me to make sure there good before they left. And when they left all the cabinets were bad damaged so I called them and they placed a replacement order and when I got them there were all damaged and one of the cabinets drawer you could tell has been already used. Never ever go here !!!👇 I would rate it a 0 if I could

TERRIBLE. Three of our cabinets are not shutting correctly and have only been here under two years. Wide open gaps on whats supposed to be a self closing cabinet.The quality is so bad. I wish someone would get back to me but no one does and weve left messages!!!

Purchased nine cabinets, received nine but two were the wrong ones. Warehouse manager made decision to substitute without consulting me. Spoke with several CS reps until finally I was told that it would be another two weeks to get the right ones. Offer me two options 1. keep the wrong ones for free...THEY DONT MATCH...2. Wait for the right ones and their contractor will install for free. The offered I should have received was to be refunded half my money back for the inconvenience of their mistake as I have to wait two more weeks, after waiting three weeks from the start, for my kitchen to be finished. Beyond upset.....

This was the worst experience I ever had. Things were delivered wrong sizes, damaged and furniture based molding NEVER came! I needed 1 piece of crown because not enough was delivered and went to pick it up only to find out it was wrong! Cabinets took well over a month - forget about next day. Quality is poor. Im still waiting for the install people to show up and repair an oven cabinet. This project started July 5th. I would NEVER recommend this company to my clients (Im a realtor).

Had a nice experience working with Ken at the Newington location when purchasing new cabinets for my Advanced Dental dental office. He helped us get the correct amount of cabinets and counter space for our office remodel. The installer, Brian, was outstanding and was very helpful in making sure that everything fit and worked properly. Were very happy and satisfied with the choice of Express Kitchens for our dental office project.

Express kitchens should not be growing, growing, growing. They are a terrible business with even worse customer service. Please stay far away. March 11th, 2020 I ordered counter tops. I received confirmation that it would arrive on the 30th. Then there was a message stating they would be closed due to corona for 2 weeks and they will update. I was never updated that they reopened. I happened to call and they were open. I asked for an update. They had nothing to say but that they would reorder. But why would you need to reorder? My money came out of my account since march 11th. I tried to be understanding so I told the women order it. It should have arrived on Monday April 20th. On the 17th I called and told them I can not pick up until Wednesday the 22nd they said that it is fine it will be there waiting. My contractor removed my counter tops. On Wednesday I called to be sure everything was set while picking up a truck. I was told my counter tops were damaged. I believe that is a lie because it should have arrived Monday, why not call from Monday and let me know? The lady stated she was going to put in an order right now. I said ok. But called back the 2 days to see if they could give me a discount or offer me a counter top temporarily I was told I believe it was Karen head of customer service she had to look into and call me back on the next business day since it was 1:45 and the close 2p. I said ok. She never called me next business day. I went to the office in person and requested a refund. Dan said he wanted to look into it for me to see what he could do. He comes back and says I see that they sent us the wrong color counter top? I said that’s funny because I was told it was damaged? If it was the wrong color show it to me maybe I would take it because I have no counter tops. They are lying. The only thing they offered was that if I choose another color I could get it faster. They never offered any percentage off for this gross inconvenience. How can someone tell you they do not have any counter tops in their home and you don’t offer any solution besides waiting. They didn’t even offer a temporary counter top which I heard was possible. He tried to say it was all because of corona but my order had been placed before Corona closing. Even if Corona was the issue I was never contacted by them after they text they would be closed. Dan told me I have to wait another business day just to get my money back and I still had to call because the whole day was passing and Dan did not call. They have zero customer service. They are expensive and are a fraud. I am glad this happened because I got a way better deal with another company and better service.

Watch out if you order a granite countertop from them. They send you to Hartford to look at a slab in a dark warehouse with dust all over the stone. They have nothing available to clean it off for you to inspect it. There is no way you can properly inspect it before you give them the OK. I got my sink vanity made. I picked it up. It was still dirty and dusty. . I get home and clean it. There’s a big huge imperfection on it. I realize it is natural stone. But, I have never ordered granite that had a big huge splotching of off color on it. Now, I am stuck with it. customer service is terrible. The people in Hartford are lax and know kind of unfriendly. In addition to that. I spent big money on a large cabinet. It was delivered to my house. It was damaged when I took it out of the box. I’ve been waiting two weeks for them to do something about it. I have a cabinet sitting in my living room. I need to get my bathroom done. No one seems to care. I still haven’t gotten any answers on it. I do not blame Newington for this. I blame Hartford. The sales team in Newington is wonderful. It is their customer service and the granite area and Hartford that is terrible. I cannot believe a place that sells granite stone has nothing to clean it with properly to inspect it. Also the customer service stinks.

In October 2018 my kitchen in my rental literally fell apart... My first thought was to go to home Depot.big mistake they were rude and told me since I didnt have an appointment and that I would have to leave also there was no one there and they were just sitting around.I stumbled upon Express kitchen quite by accident since they are on the same road. The difference in the way I was treated was incredible I worked with a lovely woman named Chellie Root, who help me step-by-step pick out the best kitchen for my money for my rental. She was very cognizant of my price range and that I needed something that would hold up. Needless to say they did an excellent job from start to finish.I am extremely happy with Express kitchen and will go back again for my next rental. In fact I wouldnt go anywhere else!

The cabinates are pretty good and the design sevice OK, but customer service is terrible. Once they are paid, they will leave you hanging, give you lip service, and by no means back up their product.

Note that to sit down with a designer and get a quote, you need to set an appointment. I recommend calling ahead and arrive early to have some time to breeze the showroom before your appointment.Annette, who designed our kitchen, was awesome. I knew I wanted a white cabinet, and their base model white (Quebec) cabinets were a great fit for my condo. I already had my dimensions, and she was able to draw out my kitchen perfectly. Her program also gave us a visual representation of what it would look like. I was impressed with how quickly she worked. She also gave great recommendations, like adding a small arch piece below the sink wall cabinet to give it that extra fine touch. My condo has a small 12 wide cabinet between the wall and my dishwasher. She suggested instead of having 1 cabinet, use it for 3 separate drawers. What a fantastic idea! Great place for silverware, cooking utensils, etc.She also was able to tell me what exact dimensions I had to work with for my OTR Microwave, my fridge, stove, and dishwasher. Thankfully I havent bought them yet!They sent out a guy to measure my kitchen to double check everything. He was on time and prompt. No drama there. I hope the installation goes just as smoothly.To do my whole kitchen condo (galley style, 2 8 walls opposing each other) - about 12 pieces including granite countertops (25 sq. ft.), under mount sink and faucet, and cabinet hardware, was $5,500 installed. Just in case anyone wanted an idea of cost. I qualified for the 12 month financing but ended up just financing half of it.I definitely recommend express kitchens for your 1 stop shop solution. I will update my review after installation, which hopefully goes without a hitch. Fingers crossed!

My husband and I have had the WORST experience here. If you have any desire to order from here, dont. On January 17th we purchased a custom made bathroom vanity, with the assistance of Jody. Jody informed us it would be ready within 7 days. We were not expecting such a fast turn around and ended up paying our contractor extra to complete the bathroom. A week passed and we did not think much of it. A week later my husband received a text message that stated pick up your vanity TILL February 23 and we were provided with two time blocks. My husband rented a pick-up truck and drove to the Hartford location. Once he arrived, he was informed that the item was in fact NOT ready and would NOT be ready until AFTER February 23.Annoyed my husband made multiple calls to Express Kitchens to find out why it went from 7 days to over a month to get our item. No explanation could be given to him other than we dont know what happened. They offered free delivery on the item for the inconvenience. We were informed we would receive a call on February 18th to confirm a delivery date. We received a call, which was automated where we were given a date for delivery- we were not even given an option. We ended up having to reschedule due to work schedules. On February 20th my husband went back to Express Kitchens and spoke to Jody. Jody informed him that there was an error in the system and that our vanity was not actually in stock. I then went to Express Kitchens and spoke with Jody. I told her how this has been a horrible experience and I wanted to speak to the Manager. Jody put me in touch with Kim, who lacked any customer service skill and was rude and offered no other remedy. I was told there was nothing else that could be done and essentially I should be thankful for the free delivery.We received our order FINALLY on February 28th. Everything arrived in boxes. Our contractor came over today to assemble the vanity and big surprise Jody put in the wrong measurement for the countertop. So we have an 18 inch depth vanity with a 22inch depth counter top. My husband called Express Kitchens, spoke to Jody and her response was oh my, I will call you back to see what I can do. She returned his call five hours later. Guess what, if we want the correct depth we have to pay an extra $400 for them to customize it.This place is run by incompetent and inept staff who lack customer care (Jody). I will never do business at this place and I discourage anyone for going there. It has been a pure nightmare.
