Dont use them ever. Poor service. Very unresponsive. Sent two contact us messages on their website over the course of a two week period. Never heard anything back. We were relocating our office and were going to bring a much bigger relationship to them for an entire office building, but needed to coordinate the specifics and get a pick up at the old office prior to the move. After there was no response at all, the new office building decided to go with another company (who already showed up mind you). I called and spoke with Robert, who never acknowledged any messages we sent, and only said that its been crazy lately. I expressed my desire to close my account with the company, and he told me he was going to leave it open in case I decided to come back.To me, a) you didnt hear anything I said about how your service has been replaced. b) you didnt hear that we are unsatisfied with your service and c) I bet you dont want to close my account so your numbers look bad. I told him to close it, and he got short with me and said he made my account inactive.So I dont know where I stand. I want my account completely wiped off their system, but either they cant do it or they wont, so thats disturbing. Over the course of the relationship with them, deliveries have not shown up for a week or more, drivers didnt show up when they said they would, orders have shown with the wrong items in spite of me ordering correct ones, and as an insult whenever theres an issue they offer a discount on future purchases (which tends to be the same discount they offer on their blast sales email). Mind you, these past issues Ive had with them were pre-covid so there was no excuse for them at that point. They clearly dont care about small businesses.
We have been ordering from them for over 10 years and they have always been reliable and on time. Within the last few months they have been terrible with delivery time and accuracy. I repeatedly asked and entered in my profile by what time we need the delivery, yet they repeatedly show up after we close and then do the same thing the next day, until it takes about a week to get our order and then something is usually missing. Often times it states in our profile that the order has been delivered, when it hasnt.I usually dont write negative reviews, but I have been trying to resolve this for months now with them and to no avail and I hope more people will start coming forward with reviews, so that something will finally change.I am looking into alternatives, like Quill, because Im just fed up at this point.
I used to love WB Mason, but this year I have had multiple challenges. Slow responses to order requests, double shipments that take over a week to have picked up, orders that are for other customers that are shipped us. The list goes on, but in general they seem to very disorganized. I hope they can get back on track in the future.
I ordered a chair from WB Mason. My office chair order came with assembly for $180. Amazon had the Hon chair for $90 un unassembled. I want assemble because every time I order a chair I have a problem. After I received the box,WB said assemblers do not respond to homes. I tried to assemble it. I could not connect the bracket connecting the seat to the back. It is welded upside down. The chair is unusable. WB said 7-10 days UPS will pick up the return (today is day 13), since our trucks do not go to residential. This is an easy delivery I have a garage and driveway. The box is in the garage. Order it from Amazon. I have yet to have a problem with Amazon. I have ordered over 100 times from Amazon. This is why Amazon crushes the competition. nobody else cares about service. I have seen WB Mason trucks 5 minutes from my house, if they cared 1 iota about customers they would bend the rules and send their truck who cannot go to residential homes, here for the pick-up. 22 business days now no return pick up. Only good thing I could say is they gave me a full refund after 2 months with a broken chair.
