Wonderful place to shop. I used to go to Walmart for my groceries, but they were always out of things and it wasnt the cleanest place to be. However, even though it is a smaller store I was always able to get what I was looking for. I truly appreciate this place!

This place doesnt stock well at all. Sadly, it also needs a deep cleaning. The deli is in disarray and they throw any pre-sliced meat into any empty rack available. If youre looking for a particular item from deli, make sure you verify that you get what you came for. The only good out of a visit is that the cashiers are always kind.

Sadly, this storefront will soon be closing its doors, but in a month Ill be continuing to work my five plus years with this company, that has helped me to mature and to grow in so many ways. To me, and to my staff it has acted as a second home. Our little Shoprite was alwas five minutes from my apartment where I had stayed with my parents. I went through a lot, but in the end gained a place and a new role up until this time. The staff have their ups and downs, but you will find no other Shoprite so closely knit to a wider community in a smaller storefront than this. It has been around for so long, that well still be talking about it once its breathed its very last breath. If you still visit during the day, you can ask about a Kara or Speedy as Im called, and no one can tell you that they arent familiar with a friendly face. Hard to not see an old friend, find a certain product not sold anywhere else, and the crumb cakes settle so you dont end up buying them right out of too oven too soon, all so that they can harden properly. The deli right now is diminished due to the closing so no orders can be placed, and the bosses arent bad guys. We have one; Armand, who is like your average grandfather figure - and Eunice; my manager at front end, is a mama hen to all her employees. She knows how to keep us happy even when shes a few hours from her shift away. So do support our local community, youll be glad you took part in something special.

Go there shopping for my family. Close to my job. Location is very convenient. Have a good selection of food!!

They have everything you need at a grocery store. The prices are reasonable. The store is clean. I didnt give it more stars because I have seen other Shoprites that have been renovated to look new and modern. This one looks like its still sporting its original 1970s era styling. Its kind of a cool feel but its definitely like stepping back in time.

Clean safe and one lady working there was rude. But its really weird how she was rude. I saw a man pass the aisle. I asked him do you work here. He said yes. I asked him could he get a king size comforter off the top shelf. He said no problem. As he left the woman that was stocking the shelves with deodorant said to me I COULD HAVE HELPED YOU. I said its ok you were talking with the elderly lady. Its fine I have it already. Then she wanted to go on and tell me I didnt need to call Him, she wouldnt have minded helping me. I SAID LISTEN I WOULDNT HAVE ASKED A WOMAN TO GET ANYTHING FROM UP THERE. She said well I could have... I said WITH THIS VIRUS GOING ON WE DONT NEED THIS BACK & FORTH I HAVE IT & YOU WERE HELPING THE ELDERLY LADY! and I drove my cart away.But honestly I understand what she was saying. She didnt mind helping me but I already had the item & she was talking with an elderly lady that was looking for a job. I pray for both of them. And the guy that helped came back to calm both of us like its ok ladies. I had a nice time shopping there. It was orderly & felt safe. She really wasnt rude she was just overly helpful.

Been in area for 5 months, passed the store but never went in. Had to do an errand nearby and decided to go in, not a very large store, has all your basics plus other depts to get what you need. It seemed cramped to me couldnt maneuver around because its not a spacious store, but associates were nice.

Usually well stocked with helpful staff and cashiers - store has improved over the years as its now cleaner and brighter than in the past - meats and deli are of good quality but the produce can be sometimes less than the freshest - overall a good store that is showing steady improvement - keepup the good work!

Its a good store, clean and run very well by the employees.. Hopefully it stays open as its slated to close in October 2021, and then Price Choppers prices will jump dramatically.

Horrible!! Product is good, deli is great. Check out sucks, the staff doesnt want to be there, and it shows, theyll even tell you all about it if you let them. Self checkout would be amazing. In fact an update throughout the store is desperately needed. Dingy and not very bright.

We have shopped here for 26 years now. They have the best meats! Love their sausage. They now have many specialty offs for dietary needs we love Shoprite!.

I try to avoid this market at all costs....(leaving the super out on purpose because there is nothing super about it). I pass it all the time to go to other supermarkets. The store is dirty, drab and old. Employees are horrible, unfriendly and rude. There are no registers open, nor have they installed a self checkout. The times I have been there I think to myself.. has a district manager come to this store and been like ...yup looks great.. there doing it right in this store. I have been to better Shop Rites so I know they can do better. But this example is horrible and this community deserves better than Shop Rite is offering for sure.

Very nice place easy to find what you want

Normally this store wouldnt of been our first choice, but today Im glad it was. They had everything that we were looking for and then some. There was one item that we couldnt find and the store manager personally took us to the item. Thats good service, thank you Shop Rite.

It says online and on their front door that they are open until 10 pm. It’s now 9:30 pm and the doors are locked.

Very clean mens room. Cant vouch for the womens. Overall the store is very run down. It has missed a few renovations. Plenty of free utensil packs, condiments, and saltines at the deli counter to fill your pockets with. Before being homeless, I would do the majority of the shopping here. The prices were much better than price cho]error.

Close by. Good food at the deli. When you dont want to cook. Just. Wish it was big and newer like the one in New Windsor

Maybe worst shoprite I ever been too. Cashiers mid day evil. Dont say hi or good bye. Isles small compressed hard to breath. They do NOT have a lot of things I look for (Monster energy 10 packs) small round precooked shrimp.. all other shoprites have them. And they stare at you like your stealing. Not a fan of this place.

Cheap fast and friendly needs self check outs

Cmon...its a grocery store. Their can-can sale is great. Bought 20 cans of soup, saved $38. Most of these will go to Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry, for those less fortunate. Giving aid is crucial to our overall wellbeing.

Small, but clean and organized store. I was very surprised to see some of the prices as high as they were. If they want more customers they should offer more items at a competitive price.

Shop rite is my go to grocery store no matter which location. This particular shop rite is old and small and needs an upgrade like other shop rites. However, they always have a great selection of groceries to choose from.

You know why I put one star because that store smelling at garbage I think somebody is Dead in there Small store dirty the other day I want to buy chicken and smell rotten milk last date is horrible.

Odd layout of the store. Old and hasnt been updated in at least a decade. Produce was fresh but not the variety most Shop Rites. We were there on a Sunday, the 1st day of a new sale, and they were already out of several things I planned on for the following days dinner.

Very poor,, hardly no cashiers lonnng line everybody with the shopping cart full and they want you to wait on line to pay for one article,, on top of that they closed customer service.....

Had to return spoiled meat, this is the 3rd time I experienced spoiled meat at this particular store.I am a senior, its my closes store, but I will not be going there anymore.

The store was stocked with your typical items. Things were easy to find signage was great. The staff was very friendly kind and courteous. I dont chop it often but when I do I usually find what Im looking for quickly and easily.

Great store, staff is very friendly and helpful. Shelves seem to always have product on them. Its seems to be very rare to have a problem that you feel that requires a complaint, and over all shop rite is a very compatible store to the way a customer lives there life.

Shop Rite has always been my favorite supermarket. Their prices are the best, but the selection suffers when compared to the larger stores. They really need to expand! Although theyve made improvements, theres just so much they can do

I had to make a special trip to Shop Rite in New Paltz because Newburgh does not have an actual seafood department. Have had issues in the past with trying to get prime rib there. Will never go back even though I work in Newburgh.

Not enough cashiers. Selection was better than the store in New Paltz. The store was clean. Seemingly well stocked, and knowledgeable people. While it seemed to be better run than the New Paltz store and had better selections.

Its a good store. The prices are fair and most of the people that work there are very nice.

Everytime I go here I wonder why I go. Some of the people are nice but its so dirty and stinky and everything is falling apart. They keep letting people go so there is never more than 2 lines open. This store needs a complete demo and rebuild.
