Good news is everyone wears a mask. Bad news I waited on line with a Nintendo switch controller box I grabbed off the wall next to many other boxes. After almost a half hour of waiting on line I was called to the register. Then told they tell me they are sold out. I get that but please be smart enough to take the boxes off the wall or put up a sign. I definitely see why they are going out of business. Do t feel bad. Amazon has my back lol.

I walked into this GameStop but all I found were a bunch of eyeglasses (which I didnt need) and expensive looking medical machinery (which I had no idea how to use). I couldnt figure out why the GameStop would have this stuff, but I kept looking around for the games. An hour later, one of the GameStop employees gave me an eye exam, and shortly afterwards, I figured out that I actually walked into the optometrists office right next to the GameStop. I guess I do need glasses...

Terrific store with a helpful staff. I’ve been trying to find a HOTAS for my Xbox One for weeks, nothing online.These guys tracked one down and made my kid very happy. Definitely something Amazon wouldn’t do.

Because the GameStop in New Paltz closed, this is my closest location. It is a small store but the selection is good. The place is clean and the staff doesnt intrude too much. I usually look at shirts while my love looks at games. It is everything a GameStop should be.

Staff is super friendly and helpful every time I go in (3-4×/month). Pretty well stocked in games, accessories, consoles, and other merch (toys, shirts, collectables). Knowledgeable too. By far my favorite location ive ever been to.

Welp, Walmart seems to have the same new items more readily in stock and for less money. GameStop used to be my go-to for new games and gaming accessories for console gaming, but with how accessible everything is online, and with how superstores such as the aforementioned Walmart keep themselves so competitive, GameStop really needs to up their game.I purchased a brand new Nintendo Switch Pro Controller from GameStop. Out of the box it had stick drift (the right joystick stuck to the left), so I returned it. It was the only one in stock at GameStop, and none of the other GameStops around had a replacement product, so I went next door to Walmart, who had plenty of what I was looking for, and purchased the same thing for literally $10 cheaper. Its also worth noting that the product worked perfectly out of the box when purchased from Walmart. Maybe I cant fault GameStop for that, but who knows. Its possible their handling of their shipments was at fault.Also, GameStop employees (in my many experiences with them) are often not very helpful. For example, one employee couldnt even tell me what their return policy was. He said, I really dont know, I dont have experience with returns. Okay, well, thankfully I found the answer on my receipt.

It would be nice if they were open at 10am (as advertised) in December, but the employees are on the phone, so I guess Ill leave and never come back.

Really friendly GameStop and the employees are usually very helpful. My only real criticism applies to GameStop as a whole and its that they usually do try to sell you too much stuff when all you come in for is a game

Friendly staff. Thats really all that matters at a game store because they all have the same games and such more or less thus its the staff that make the store better than the rest. Personally this is the only game store Id go to unless Im out of town/state and needed to stop at a game store.

Nice gamestop with a huge selection of those bop Toys, plush toys and collectibles. Staff are very friendly here they always check nearby gamestop if they dont have the game youre looking for. Game selection is pretty good too got a old copy of FEAR for 8 bucks!.I would say this is a better choice to the one in the newburgh mall.

I heard the current staff talking about how they had no room in the back for the BRAND new game systems, so they permanently store them in the employee bathroom.The same was true when I worked here years ago, but I honestly thought they changed this.
