Our Only Choice in Parts & ServiceUtilizing Barton Cadillacs Parts & Service Department has consistently been a positive experience since the beginning.I especially would like to commend Kenneth Whyte and Alan Bass for addressing and resolving the recent service to my Cadillac Escalade in a timely fashion. The facility was clean and safe given the ongoing challenges we face in todays world. For this reason, I recommend Barton Cadillac as the primary choice for anyone requiring parts or service.Kindest Regards,Antonio Alfonso

To make an extremely long story short, my wife and I were in the market to buy an Escalade 2016. We found one here which was fairly priced. We went to go see in person and there were some issues immediately. Bumper was scuffed badly on the passenger side, the front passenger strut was in bad shape where the car would bounce badly. We still wanted the vehicle as overall the car was clean and those things were fixable. We agreed to the asking price as long as all the issues were fixed. They don’t have but two loaners so we had to wait 4 weeks before the car can go back in for service. We had to follow up and speak to several managers to get the issue resolved as we were driving the vehicle with the strut issue. They had the strut in stock but no loaners to give us. Finally, we got the strut replaced after weeks of waiting. We received the car back and we had issues with the the trunk opening and closing. It doesn’t open, it’s inaccessible. We’re still within warranty from the dealer but the dealer refuses to have it looked at without charging us $600 for diagnostic. They said it’s not covered under the warranty they offer and the manager said we should of purchased extended warranty. In conclusion, I would never recommend this dealership or advise to do business with them. During the purchase process, everything was wonderful. Once they got paid for the vehicle we didn’t receive the same treatment. They only get two stars because the sales guy was helpful and nice but the people that actually run this place are not the greatest.

I travelled from the Midwest to purchase a vehicle from Barton Cadillac. They treated me like I was a potential client for life. (Despite them knowing I most likely would never purchase a vehicle from them again.) First class staff and a great buying experience. I Highly recommend this dealership!

Called to inquire about a vehicle and the sales rep Dan was rude and condescending. This rating is for him and his poor professionalism but he works there so unfortunately that reflects on the dealership. I don’t know how you make sales talking down to people like that. In this market it makes even less sense. Maybe he was frustrated or having a bad day but the combativeness he displayed was unnecessary. If Dan represents a snapshot into this dealership, then the low rating is accurate.

Go back in the morning and am told the car is sold.Sorry Chris ( salesman) your sales manager (Anthony) lost you a commission! I went down to Colandreas where they were much more professional and purchased a vehicle.

Continuing my first post (Matt Becker) I scheduled the service for Monday and called the dealership prior to my appointment to ask if Jason Barton would be available to sit down with me for 2 minutes to discuss some concerns I had. (not having the run flats, ect) I was told he was in a meeting and would call me later. I said no need I will be there for a service appointment in 20 minutes and could wait to see him then. The service Advisor meet with me and checked the car in for the TSB and documented my concern with the tires and some imperfections in the paint on the passenger side of the car. I waited 30 minutes only to be told by the service advisot that Jason was unwilling to come out and speak with me in person and that he would look into it After a very acceptable amount of time I was called by the service advisor and told the car was ready to be picked up and that they would not be putting the correct tires on the car. I knew before the call that this would be the case based on Jasons not wanting to talk to me in person. I have started a case with Cadillac customer service and contacted 2 attorneys in regards to the class action lawsuit for the transmissions. The fluid flush is a band aid based on the fact that the car has 53000 miles now and the transmission has been operated with incorrectly speced fluid. The fact is symptoms were present damage was undoubtedly done and the life of the transmission is therefore been decreased. Barton Cadillac you were given the opportunity to do the right thing and blatantly refused to take responsibility for your shortcomings. A Cadillac (Luxury car dealership) should be held to a little higher standard than this!! Please if you are reading this take it to heart, you can see the reviews, they tell story. Find a dealership that values the customer without shady sales tactics and no ethics after the sale

I see you finally got a 5 star review!! Congrats, Unfortunately I will not be able to do the same. After months of checking Bartons certified pre owned inventory for the ATS I was looking for they had the exact car I had been searching for. Although I had found some at other dealers, one of them being directly next door to where I work in Mahwah NJ I wanted to buy local. The car was advertised on their website as a certified pre owned 2016 ATS at $15,000, I made an internet inquiry and was contacted by the sales manager who stated what a great price right? I said yes and I would like to run numbers and purchase the vehicle. 2 hours later a different associate calls me to tell me that they made a mistake on the price and didnt realize it was a certified pre owned and the price was going to be $2000 higher than advertised. After stating that was unacceptable to me he says the manager said since your local he will give it to me for $16k. A lie because the car was relisted the next day to the general public at 16k, no discount was given to me for being local just another shady sales tactic. numbers were run, financing was acquired and a delivery date was set for Saturday. 1 hour before the set delivery was to take place I contacted the dealership only to be informed that monitors had not cleared and the vehicle was at that time unable to pass NYSI and would not be able to try again until Monday. In the meantime they had already transferred my insurance and registration from my current vehicle to this one, now I have NO vehicle. When asked if they thought car would indeed pass inspection on Monday the response was I wouldnt put money on it Why list a vehicle on the internet AND make the sale if the vehicle is not 100% ready for sale yet?? Fortunately the monitors cleared and delivery was set for Monday. I meet with Jason Barton for the signing on Monday, I had not test driven the vehicle or been able to give it an overall inspection at this point due to Covid regulations. During the signing Jason explained to me the run flat tire feature and how the run flat tires worked and also disclosed that the car had no spare tire and thats why they had run flat tires. after the signing was complete I was directed to see the car parked under an awning as it was a dark and rainy day. The cleaning and detailing job was mediocre at best and was brushed of as they were short staffed and I should accept that as okay. The fuel tank was empty and fuel light was on when I started the car, so I had to follow Jason to a gas station so he could put a 1/2 a tank of fuel in the car. A few days later was a nicer day and the sun was out so I decided to tackle detailing the wheels as like I said the cleaning/detailing job was sub-standard at best. At that time I notice that the tires on the car are $60 a piece Chinese Fuzion brand tires and NOT run flat tires. Wow another lie. I decided that I would take the car back on the following Monday to discuss the reason for the car being advertised with run flat tires and even explained to how they work only to find out they put the cheapest possible tires on the car they could find. Remember this is a certified preowned car that should have the standard OEM equipment that it original came with. Remember car was advertised as having run flat tires regardless of certified pre owned guidelines or not. Now to make matters even worse while driving the car that Thursday I noticed a shuddering in the transmission at certain shift points and throttle applications, as well as a harsh 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 1st shift at low speeds. This problem was more noticeable and easily replicated during the next 2 days. After doing some research I find out the GM has a class action law suit for all of the cars equipped with the 8 speed transmissions because they are doing exactly what mine is doing. GM has had something like 13 prior TSBs to try to fix these issues none with any success. The most recent TSB is for a transmission flush with a new formula of Mobil 1 transmission fluid. TBC
