Do not trust single words they tell you or show you . They don’t even know what they are selling as they don’t check the battery or AC or transmission or engine . They will sell the car ensuring nothing wrong with it, but if you don’t take the car to real mechanic, you may be stuck with it. You want to check the car yourself even though it’s certified, because it means NOTHING to them . All they care is take your money and say meaningless “sorry” …..“Horrible “, “unbelievable “and worst experience ever - This is how i can describe my experience with them. never headed such thing .I hope no one else has to experience anything similar what we experienced with them. I don’t understand why and how are they still in business !
I hate dealerships and can not stand their Service Dept. However, from the moment I stepped on the Collandrea lot to check out the 2016 GMC 2500 HD Denali, to my 3 service visit. What a wonderful dealership. The entire staff ( whether I am calling to make an appointment, the service dept updating me on my vehicle status, or when I first went through the purchasing process) in every dept has been making this a wonderful experience. I tell everyone I know about how great Collandrea is and I am quite impressed with the staffs knowledge in every dept. They take pride in their job and it shows.
Everyone i dealt with at Colandrea was knowledgeable, straight forward and honest. It is rare to say that you enjoy a car buying experience from start to finish but that was certainly the case here. I drove an hour to the dealership for this transaction and i would do it again! Great dealership and great team from top to bottom!

Purchased a certified used truck from Colandrea. They had to jump start the truck for my test drive. I didnt think much of it, figuring it had sat for a while. Purchased said truck and drove it almost daily for a month or two. Parked it for a week only to find a stone dead battery. So I jumped started the truck and took it back. Note: no lights were left on or doors left ajar.Service rep told me the battery just needed a charge and that I should install a trickle charger if I park the vehicle for more than a day or two. She has seen this time and time again, and it is normal. So thats all Colandrea would do.I was a pretty good mechanic in my younger days and have worked in the electrical/electronics field for many years since. I informed her that either the battery is bad or there is a power drain in the truck. But no, Colandrea said its normal.I do not have time to keep bringing the truck back and argue about it. Esspesially at the very high price of the truck. So I traded the truck in for a competitor vehicle. I probably will never do business with anything associated with the Colandrea name. I cant prove they knew the truck had an issue when I purchased it. But I can say they proved to me they do not stand behind their product.10/21/21 edit to add:As to the response to my review:The truck in question is a 2019 GMC Canyon Denali. Delivery date of 11/21/20. Stock no. 7303A. Mileage was 13,262. Purchase price was $39,729. Salesmans initials was DS. The event in question took place mid January 2021, less than 2 months after purchase and almost daily driving. Im sure you could identify the truck now without my contacting Colandrea behind the puppet masters curtain. I have no desire to discuss the events with anybody from Colandrea.I was not going to write any review. But when the salesman called me months after I informed him of all the events including the purchase of a competing vehicle. Well the happy birthday sales pitch convinced me that our emails went on deaf ears and decided on my review.Please do not contact me unless you want to refund the many thousands of dollars lost on the certified used truck you sold me.
Junior Duran was very welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. He went thru all the features I wanted and ultimately found me the right vehicle for me. I am very very satisfied and happy with my new auto. he even called me the next day to check up on me and answered more questions I had. Financial manager was very organized knowledgeable and answered all my financial Questions and went thru the entire process and explained everything to me. I was quoted 2860.00 for a repair for a 2015 terrain. I was shocked at the estimate and did not feel all that was required to be done was justified. I paid the diagnostic fee and took the vehicle to a state registered/licensed mechanic who did a diagnostic that was similar to yours. He charged me 900.00 for the same repair!!!!
Floyd was my sales person. He was excellent did not pressure me at all. Definitely would recommend this dealership from service all the way to the finance manager. Doesn’t get any better shop local

Service writer was prompt and courteous. This was my first visit and I got an oil change and rotation. That was fine. I had a rattle by my left ear and the technician, after a nine mile ride could not locate it. I took him for a half mile ride and he did hear it. It was then taken care of in about an additional half hour. Problem solved and I got a nice car wash when I picked it up. Overall it was a good experience.
They were absolutely amazing I had been in an accident prior to visiting them for a new vehicle. And they were very nice and hands on with me. And did everything to get me into what I was looking for. Junior the sales representative there is amazing and christ too. Highly recommend them

Beyond disappointed... especially because I had to highlight a star just to leave this review. If this dealership wasnt the only one in a 200-mile radius with the exact make, model and color car I wanted I wouldnt be caught dead here. Went to buy a car on a Saturday with a sizable down payment ready and we were treated as if we were an imposition. We werent allowed to take the car that day because no one was in the office to draw up paperwork. We were talked down to because we work during banking hours and were unable to go get a bank check (which apparently cash and personal checks arent welcome here). Our banking institution of choice was even questioned because they close at noon on a Saturday. Annoyed, we agreed to pick up the car on Monday minutes before they closed. All of this made it a bad experience, but dont worry theres more. They couldnt do ANYTHING for us Saturday, but they had the ability to start our OnStar and SiriusXM free trials before we were even allowed to have the car. I was even looked at funny on Monday when I dared to ask to see the car again before handing them thousands of dollars!!

I had a wonderful experience at collandrea GMC. Id been shopping around for a truck a few months. It was the second GMC dealer I was heading too (about 45 minutes away) i called ahead to check availability and the salesman Joe B. Was waiting for me outside with 3 trucks lined up and ready for me to look at. I originally called about a Denali and when I showed up leaning towards a lower model their was zero pressure to buy the more expensive truck. They were all about getting me into the vehicle I wanted in the price range I was most comfortable with. They gave me a very reasonable deal on my trade in also! The finance guy was awesome. No extra BS with these guys. He even filled me in that if I called my old trucks dealer and canceled the warranty Id get money back. Save me a nice chunk of change! Which the last dealer did NOT tell me when I traded in my previously warrantied vehicle! So thank you! 10/10 would recommend collandrea GMC to anyone looking to buy new or used. I love my 2018 GMC all terrain! (Everythings certified pre owned!)

Very disappointed. I asked that my car be ready at noon and it was not even close. At 2pm I called and said Id pick it up the next day.I dropped it off the night before for a 90 minute job.Again, strongly disappointed.
I was traveling and my car lost power due to a computer glitch late on a Saturday afternoon. I had to wait till the dealership opened on Monday morning, they took me right in and within three hours they had the problem fixed and I was on my way back home.

The service staff at Colandrea Buick GMC continue to exceed our expectations! The last visit for routine service on our Cadillac SRX identified an issue which required attention. A further appointment was made to effect the repair, and parts were ordered. Unavoidable delays slowed delivery of parts and added days to complete the job. Ciel Licata and her group provided interim transportation for us, and worked miracles to get us back into our vehicle in time for us to fulfill a family obligation. The the staff was fine, but I brought my car in at 8a and didn’t leave the actual service center until 530p, l had the brakes done and some minor thing’s done and it took all day, when you pay 1843 for service you expect a more timely job, and they actually wanted to keep it until the following day but I had to insist I needed it, my whole day was a total loss without the car, but I have to mail in rebates to get a discount.
I bought a certified used here last week. My salesperson Joe B. was the best...knowledgeable, friendly and never pushy. I went in the dealership knowing exactly what I wanted and he brought 4 or 5 vehicles to my attention, all within my price range.Also, one of the owners came over and introduced himself and thanked us for our business. That sealed the deal for me. Very professional.

The dealership did good with taking care of me. The issue I had was that my truck was down for 2 months due to a back ordered part and then finding out that part wasnt all that was needed to fix my truck. I was given a rental suv for the time my truck was down. I do feel GM needs to step up their game with parts to fix their vehicles. 2 months is unacceptable for repairing a vehicle.
Unfortunately I didnt receive much help from the person who I called.All I wanted to find out is how to pair my phone so that it could play music through the speakers in my car. This has to be done through Bluetooth as my car does not have an auxillary portal. She basically only told me what I already knew which was of no use. Also, the manual does not offer information on how to do this. It was pretty disappointing.

Came here to drop off my mother’s Buick for a faulty wheel speed sensor. The person working the service desk was not particularly knowledgeable nor willing to figure out the information I requested regarding what was and was not considered a part of the limited power train warranty. They then said they needed to order the part and would call me back in 3-5 days. Eight days later I called to let them know I was coming to pick up the vehicle. They never called me to update me on the status of the incoming part. I got there around 0900 in the morning. The same person working the desk said the part had just come in that morning. That seems highly unlikely that the delivery truck arrived before 0900... either way, they locked the keys in the car and I don’t have a spare. They basically said to pound sand when I asked them to unlock it or for them to contact Onstar to unlock it.

Car serviced and inspected properly and on time promised. Like to keep my vehicles in top condition and no place better to get that done.

We are from out of town and had truck troubles while camping. We had it towed to the local gm dealership.We did not have the truck repaired there because it turned out that after the diagnosis it showed that truck most likely needed a new engine. We had it trailered back home to Ontario. I can say though that the people behind the service desk were awesome! Very helpful and if they are a reflection of the whole dealership it is most likely a great place to get your vehicle serviced.

I live in New York city, but I use this dealership for service. They are great in customer service, not over charging like many other dealers like to do, not pushing to have unnecessary stuff done. In fact they quoted me for a job for around $900 to $1,100, I accepted it and while I was in their beautiful waiting room, they told me that the mechanic came up with an idea to save me money as he can fix the broken part, so we dont have to buy a new one. (Air conditioner job) They fixed it and it now works really good, and total cost was $683, including all taxes and fees. I love this place, and am highly recommending it.

Went for a service issue with my GMC Envoy. They handled the inspection promptly, gave me fair and honest feedback about the issues, and didnt try to coerce me into the fixes for an old vehicle. Highly impressed with the staff and would use them again. Compared to the Chevrolet dealer in Fort Montgomery, they are much better with customer service.

A-Team quotation, I love it when a plan comes together.My car needed a part (HVAC Module) that needed to be ordered. Although the car was kept overnight for my convenience, tthe dealership provided me with a rental free of charge. The next day I was able to pick up my Acadia. It was returned to me washed and working according to manufacturers specifications. Top job!

I am extremely disappointed in their service department. I have had a problem with my car’s brakes. I brought the car in and was told the rotors were shot. I had them replaced. I took it in again and the rotors were shot again. This was less than a year later and under 12K and they were replaced under warranty. After a couple of thousand miles, the brakes were a problem again. I brought it back in again and was told the rotors were shot again. I am not a car expert but there has to be some other problem that is causing the rotors go bad within a couple thousand miles. I said to the service department that there has to be something else wrong that is causing the rotors to go bad. I was assured by them it is just the rotors. I said I do not want to have to come back again in a couple of months with a brake problem again. I was again told there is nothing wrong other than the rotors. Well surprise, surprise, I have a problem with my brakes again and when I took the car in I was told the rotors were shot and that it is my problem and I have to pay to have them fixed. They also said that it must be the way I am driving. Well my previous car had 75K miles on it and it never once had to have the rotors replaced. The service department also told me that they would be calling me back but never did. I sent this as a private message first but never even received a response. I am going to be servicing my cars elsewhere for now on. I will look elsewhere for my next car purchase as well because I can’t go to a dealership that has such a poor service department. Not to mention every time I bring my car in to be serviced they forget to do something and I have to bring it back. Just scheduling a service appointment is a nightmare. It is too bad because my car buying experience there was really good.
