I was excited about this place because of the word. Antiques. The positives are it is pleasantly divided into stalls which displays many things that I love, Crystal, jewelry eal and costume/, China other collectibles. The negative was my eyes began to water and itch but the smell almost made me ill. The building need a ventilation system.
Super nice but pricey...great to walk around and get decorating ideas...a lot of decorator pieces, artwork, and upholstered furniture. The vendor booths are very well done (some are absolutely beautiful) and customer service was good...I just had sticker shock on most items.
Its ok. A little on the expensive side. Saturdays they have a outdoor market for locals to sell art and other things. Its worth a visit on a Saturday after 12pm.
Lots of great things to browse
This is a higher end vintage store. The quality of the items is much higher than your average thrift store and thus so is the cost. It is set up in the antique mall fashion, many booths each belonging to a vendor. There are some beautiful things here waiting to go to their forever home
If youre in the area, stop in and see some interesting antiques. The staff is always friendly and say hello to us on the way in. Unfortunately, some vendor booths are selling crafty vintage look items which Im not at all interested in. Candles and crafty items should be sold elsewhere in my opinion. But Im still going to continue to visit to see the vendor booths selling real antiques.
Lots of cool stuff! Found some good records and a bunch of cool things I couldnt afford to buy! But if I was rich I would have cleaned them out lol. Definitely worth a stop and look.
Selection of items on the day I visited was okay. Music playing in the store was excellent. However, vendors here overprice their items (I antique frequently so I know competitors’ pricing), and lack of restroom for customers is fairly ridiculous. I left sooner than planned as a result and did not make a purchase.
Large. Clean. Well lighted. Many vendors under one roof. Unfortunately, I did not connect with anything offered for sale. It could be the luck of the draw, but perhaps more can be done to diversify the inventory.
Found by accident! Had the coolest items?
One of my favorite shopping trips...I always leave with a treasure...or two. The collection is very eclectic ranging from vintage 80s music to primitives. You can even snag some vintage clothing and accessories (see straw hat) there. Make it a day trip and eat on the Hudson in one of the great Front Street restaurants nearby. #captainJake #vintage
Well laid out. Great variety of anything you want
This is a magical place! Weve been shopping here for a few years and can honestly say it has become our favorite antique/vintage shop in the Northeast. The items are unusual, diverse and REALLY interesting. We have bought vintage space toys, art deco lighting, vintage jewelry, militaria, furniture, and the coolest psychedelic mod purse out there. The items here are in better than good condition and CLEAN, no broken pieces of pottery lying about; furniture is intact. Prices are more than fair, and the product turnover is constant. The space which is really large, is bright and airy, and CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Staff is masked and there is hand sanitizer galore. This is a first class environment with a first class staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. The owners are also uber cool and friendly. If you love antiques, you need to come here. Its right off of exit 39 (old exit 10) on Insterstate Route 84. When youre finished go into the City of Newburgh and grab a bite to eat at one of the incredible restaurants!
I love love this place. It’s a little expensive so I mostlyCan’t get the stuff I love but it’s amazing and anyone who can afford it can get the coolest perfectly kept furniture sets from all time period along with all kinds of amazing objects and clothes you can imagine
Nice. Vintage jewelry and accessories to include furniture. Nice selection easy off and on near the Freeway
Better than the sister store.
Lots of cool stuff.A little pricey. I will go back.
We spotted this gem when about to get on the 84 and decided to stop in. So glad that we did. The selection is interesting and fun to peruse. The sellers all have cool items in excellent condition including china, antique maps, and industrial things, old tools, traveling trunks, coats, hats and accessories. Coming from nyc I’d say that their pricing is fair :) Definitely worth a visit and the woman who helped us check out was so very nice.
Huge selection of antiques from clothing to furniture. Large store with lots of room to keep your distance.
Several GREAT every one of the vendors were ok throughout the day. Thank you.
Ok spot for a quick antique/vintage shop. We liked their ware-house location much better. Everything I looked at seemed to be really priced high, like plates Ive bought and seen at almost every antique mall for $5-10 were a nutso $45. This theme continued with almost everything we picked up.
Its One of the best around. With a large catalog and rare finds coupled with the kindest staff
It goes from Junk to over priced. I don’t like spending my money in establishments that are not accommodating. I travel long distances for antique shopping yet places like this won’t let you use their facilities. I don’t often spend my money in here places like this. I did see a nice 1930’s picture frame. But wouldn’t drop the cash in a place that doesn’t care about their customers ..just my 2 cents
Everything is so expensive.......you can get much cheaper at the estate sale....
Wonderful place. Bought several items of clothing, classic albums and some art work. Will be going back soon.
Yes! Get yourselves over here this place is amazing. The employees are all so helpful and kind. Theres so many aisles and so much stuff to look at and see but its all so well kept and organized that its not overwhelming. I have a ridiculous passion for postcards, theyre such a unique piece of history. This place did not disappoint. Found one that even came with a note/description of a favored spot nearby that ended up leading to an adventurous day. Im sad it took me so many years to venture inside here this place is a gem!!!
I love this antique store . I go every week here and the one other one in New burgh to . it so much fun looking it feel like I am a kid again . I remember when my mother or grand ma had an item . fun meomories
Fantastic place to find something prepare to spend an hour at least.
Loved this place! Antique lovers paradise, although prices are high that is to be expected. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
You wont find any bargains here. Expensive. But even more contributory to my low rating was the incredibly offensive racist items I found for sale. They actually had a black face lawn jockey for sale for almost $400. Who would buy a piece of trash like that? Who would sell it? Shouldnt that go right in the trash?! Why try to profit from overt racism? My girlfriend is mixed race and she was appalled. We both were. Its disgraceful. Didnt matter what else was in there. Those racists will never get any of my money or business, and they shouldnt get yours either.
Love coming here, its clean, organized, the staff is welcoming. Its like coming to a museum, so many things to see, brings back a lot of memories. I highly recommend going if youre in the area. They also have an Instagram & Facebook page. Look them up and if youre in the area stop in you will not regret it 😎
My wife makes me come. I dont but anything and I only go so my wife does not buy anything we dont need. However, the place is awesome and has a ton of cool stuff. It is worth checking out both their locations( 9w and 17k). We go once every two months to see if what cool stuff they have gotten in. You will find something cool in there if you look hard enough. My wife loves it and its usually busy so check it out and see for yourself!
Such a fun place to browse and shop!
Friendly staff. Lost of interesting items with above average prices.
Neat place! Fun for just checking out stuff, prices vary.
Found some nice vintage plant stands
Love it! Always find something!!😁
Really cool place to visit. Each vendor space is set in their own vignette which really highlights their product in a lifestyle setting. Reasonably priced cool finds!
Chic vintage store. Immediately walking through the doors, it smells like heaven. No musty old air of typical vintage stores. I appreciate how the vendor booths are styled really well. It makes it a lot easier to envision how items will look in my space. I am so happy with my new 1930s mirror and chandelier. Support local vendors and be earth friendly with new to me treasures!
Great thrift store
Great collection.
Good items for sale, old and new
Cute little place with fabulous stuff! I wanted it all!
This place is so cool! So many things to look at. Even if you have no intention to buy anything, its an adventure just walking around and exploring! Did not disappoint!
Went to both locations and got beautiful stuff in each place 😃.. support local business!!!
As you walk through not only do you travel back in time but feel as if you are transported back with the featured items. Very clean, organized, and quality antique items.
Nicely managed displays representing a broad selection of collectables.
Nice items but way over priced.
Impressive selection of vintage memorabilia from 40-100 heard ago. Very pleasant and enjoyable shopping experience.
Interesting Place
Best varied collections in the area. Wonderfully and neatly laid out.
Lots of fun stuff.
Theyre always so pleasant. Go check them out you are bound to find something old tbats new to you to cherish
Honestly I always wanted to come here and the one time I did go the only thing I could afford was bracelets and I know everything is vintage but wow I did not know tI was going to be that expensive and everything there was super nice
Run of the mill antique mall. Over priced on almost everything. Help not very helpful. No bargaining not even customary 10% discount.
It was really nice, there was hand sanitizer almost every corner. The employees were really kind and helpful
A fun place to visit. It is well organized and the staff members are friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of antiques and collectibles with, for the most part, fair prices. I always enjoy my visits.
I passed this place dozens of times thinking it was a cheap junk store--its anything but! A phenomenal collection of art, vintage furniture from 20 to a hundred years old, folk and fine art, toys, clothes and vinyl records. A wonderful place.
Fabulous stuff and lots of it! A little pricey but hard to put a value on vintage.
The store is beautiful and the ladies behind the counter are awesome.
Place is awesome it is completely packed with super cool one-of-a-kind items. Dont judge a book by its cover. Ive been driving by this building for years always wanting to stop so glad that I did. Every Booth is different from Sterling Jewelry, two vintage leather cowboy boots to a Levis sign to hang on your wall. Way way way better than Ive ever expected Ive been in a lot of antique stores and rent a booth kind of places this was by far the nicest. I cant wait to go back to see all the new Treasures.
Great stop just off I84, couldve spent hours in there. Will plan for it next time!
Large store. Many stalls. Lots to see however very high prices. Many badly worn and damaged pieces.
We moved to the area a few years back been here a few times some nice stuff but way over priced. (They are banking on us city slickers paying sticker price) most things worth while are way overpriced. Went there today and my daughter liked a small brass charm that was 12 bucks I offered 8 and they came back with 12. I find this insulting wont come back here anymore so many better places to go in the Hudson valley.we cannot take offers or discount items under $20.00..So dont sell a $6.00 item for 12 bucks.
This place is a hippy and yuppies wet dream. I liked it for the historical value. Def have some interesting stuff. Worth a walk through.
Visiting the emporium was a fun way to spend an hour on a Sunday afternoon. Id imagine the prices are set by the individual vendors, but everything seemed quite expensive to me. I liked that they provided k-cups, sugar and fresh milk for a little pick me up.
Nice antiques store with a lot of furniture and objects . Welcoming staff.
Cool 😎
A cool antique store. They have all sorts of stuff and stalls seem to restock frequently. They have all sorts of stuff here. I personally like the flex side car bike they have up front.
I liked the set up of the store - there were individual rooms set up by theme and some cool music filling the air throughout. The collection of items is very impressive and although I’m not from the area it seems this place has a loyal following. Conveniently located as well. If you’re ever in the area and need a space-age coffee table from the ‘60’s this is the place.
Great place to wander around. Theres something interesting for almost everyone. On our way now to check out their second location.
Great store, a most see
Awesome place to shop!!They have everything, and its reasonably priced!!!
Wow. Lots of wacky stuff in here. Sooooo much to look at. prices were all over the place but that is to be expected. Its hard to get into the parking lot at times but overall its a cool place. Drop in and see what they got.
Expertly curated, beautiful treasures and trinkets abound at Newburgh Vintage Emporium. The new owners have breathed fresh life into the space, through tasteful visual merchandising of a huge selection of early American to mid-century pieces and beyond. This place is a must when visiting the Hudson Valley.
Pretty cool place to take a look at especially if you like all things vintage. I came here last weekend and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. They had a wide selection from a vast amount of sellers. I think thats why you get a good selection. It isn’t just one seller in there. I spent about two hours in there and I definitely want to take a trip back and see what I missed. The workers and the private sellers were very pleasant to deal with as well.
A great place to search for treasures. You could run through in a few minutes or take a few hours and browse at all the unusual items. It is a bit on the pricey side. Dont expect flea market pricing.
Great place to wander around for awhile. Never know what you might find. I do wish they had more vintage clothing. That would get them a fifth star
The store and the owners are amazing!
Best best and best
I go to the Newburgh Vintage Emporium often....The one thing that stands out, is the customer service. You are greeted (with a smile) as soon as you walk through the front door...The owner has staff that moves around the emporium, asking if you need help, and if you do, they will go out of their way to assist you. If you just purchased a large object, they will assist you in getting it to your vehicle. And sometimes (depending on the price of the object) you can ask what their best price is. They will call the dealer of the space and try to get you a price. Here mileage may vary...Their selection is varied, and items vary from dealer to dealer...There is ample parking, with Handicapped parking. The building is Handicapped accessibleThe Emporium is located at the intersection of I-84 and route 9W...
Just wanted to let everyone know... that this place has been totally transformed. It is bursting with colors. The new candles burning when you walk in absolutely smell AMAZING!The new owners are very friendly and eager to assist. They have very cool events almost every month. This is a place that you need to check out.
Place is a Museum. So much 2 see. A most go.
Prices to steep for used items. But the customer service was good.
You never know what youll find here and when you do find something it is always reasonably priced.
Very nice store and big. Staff in both stores are exceptional
