It was great as usual. I havent been to this store in a couple of years, due to Covid, but my wife looks like a walking billboard for Kays. The staff is always friendly, and helpful. Great quality of jewelry, and always love the sales.

I am extremely disappointed. First I will say that I understand with Covid-19 stores are trying to take extra precautions to ensure the safety of their employees. But I got engaged on June 19th. The ring was picked up on June 16th. Per my fiance Kay had the ring for months for it to be resized and they stated when he picked it up they were unable to due so because of Covid-19. The day after I got engaged. I called everyday because I really wanted to wear my ring and Im a size 4.5 and it was a size 7. So I had two ring sizers on the back to attempt to wear it and it wasntcomfortableat all. After the 5th day of calling I was told that if the ring was purchased or picked up within the last month they will accept it to be resized. I dropped it off on July 1st. That experience was not pleasant either but I will not get into that. I got an email yesterday stating the ring was ready to be picked up. I arrived at the store today and the store was closed. I texted the number on the door and was told that they are closed until further notice. So it will be an entire month and I havent been able to wear my ring. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. As a result of this experience I would never purchase from Kays in the future and would not recommend them.

Courtney was absolutely amazing! My wife and I are expecting and the wedding ring is no longer fitting. My wife couldn’t get it off no matter what she did. Courtney literally spent a lot of time trying to get the ring off and succeeded. She has exceptional customer service. I highly recommend this location

Today I went to kay in hopes to enhance my wedding rings. Jessica demancyzk was my sales rep and she was amazing!! She made me feel so comfortable and took her time in showing me different wedding enhancers and wowed with me over each one until I found the perfect ring! She made my experience personal and I enjoyed her and love love love the enhancer and was everything I was looking for!!! Thank you Kay and Jessica for Helping me glam my forever ring!

I had just recently become engaged and neither my fiancé or I know anything about rings so we both went to this location hoping to get rings for a decent price and had an amazing time. Courtney, a very nice and helpful lady who helped my fiancé and I did a very good job, Thank you. She had asked me questions about what kind of design I liked and gave me a good variety within the price range I wanted. I ended up leaving with a very beautiful ring and saved money at the same time from discounts and codes. I would recommend to anyone of my friends. Very polite, informative and friendly. Thank you guys.

Whatever you do, STAY AWAY!! NEVER EVER EVER buy anything from this store! They messed up our wedding ring 3 times! First the order was never placed. We had to call and check on it due to the fact that it was taking longer than a month to arrive. When we called (Several times), no one could figure out where our ring was or help us with our situation. When after a freakin month of back and forth calling, they finally discovered the order was never placed. Therefore, they put the order through. However, when the ring came in, it was the wrong color. So we told them to send it back and place the correct color order. When that one came in, it came in the wrong size AND we found out that our Life Time Protection plan had been cancelled. It got to the point where we had to ask for a free engraving - they werent going to offer us anything for our troubles. We were lucky we got a ring before our wedding because with all their screw ups, they cut it close to us not having a ring. We also reached out to corporate due to the fact that our Life Time plan was now cancelled on top of everything else. They were supposed to give us our money back for the Lifetime Plan, give us $50 back towards the rings, and a gift card. Instead, when we arrived at the store, they presented us with 2 store gift cards and no money back like promised (As if this is all we want anyways - at this point Im done with the store and ready to take them to court). Therefore, we refused the gift cards and they credited us for the Lifetime plan. Howver, they said they knew nothing about the $50 reimbursement. Needless to say, we will be reaching out to corporate again and hopefully settling this nonsense once and for all because I am done with this store, their lack of business skills and lack of customer service. By all means, STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!!!

Ive had my silver ring for 4 days and it broke in half, and is deformed. This is a jewelry store! If I pay good money for a ring, I expect it to last longer than 4 days. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.

My story starts at Kays jeweler at Christiana Mall.When I met Antonio Monroe.I brought my ring in to be repaired and I got that fatal call.Your ring is unable to be repaired.Not a good feeling🙄.Trying to figure out what to do because Kays Jeweler had brought out the store that I originally brought my ring from.My question was what are we going to do?We werent sure.We knew something had to be done.We just werent sure how to go about it.Antonia asked me to just give her some time and to be patient. Not to mention they had the ring a little over three months.So she could make some phone calls to figure this thing out.And she did.She kept me posted every step of the way. Because the ring could not be repaired Kay Jeweler decided to custom make my identical ring again.She had it back in my hands before December 25th 2018🤗.You have no idea what that meant to my husband and myself we married in 2010.We couldnt imagine being without that ring that we picked out together.My husband James D Rayfield and I would like to take this time to say thank you to Antonia Monroe and Kays Jeweler for bringing Joy back into our lives.Jaymes & Dawn Rayfield

Been having issues getting confirmation emails saying we had the ring inspected and cleaned. I have been calling numerous times to see if i can be resent this confirmation email to keep my warranty on my several thousand dollar engagement ring. Ive heard horror stories of people getting screwed on the cleaning and inspection portion in the past and expressed this concern to the store with associates Denise and Jenny and just been told to wait....why cant I just get something that says hi, your good to go on your warranty for another 6 months?Whenever we get a cleaning and inspection there is always an attempt to upsale me on more jewellery....why would i do that when its like pulling teeth to maintain the warranty on what i currently have...when Im doing my part and the company isnt?UPDATE: 2-21-2020I found out during my last visit to this location that my account that my wifes engagement ring was purchased under (my account manages my dates and confirmations of cleanings, etc) had MULTIPLE accounts for some reason, so the lady I dealt with last time DELETED ALL BUT 1 ACCOUNT and did NOT transfer any of my dates over of my cleanings which I have not missed in the few years Ive had the ring. WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY. There is no kay Jewelers customer service e-mail to reach out to and the people in the store just log in to my account and cant see the deleted accounts.....fml

First I would like to start by saying I bought a watch from Kay for just over $500. This includes a service to remove the watch links so it fits your wrist perfectly. They did the service and I came back just a little while later to have one more link removed because it wound up being a little more loose than I expected. When I came back the staff gave me such a hard time. I told them about my purchase, they even acknowledged it and the fact I spent $500. Looking back I could have gotten the same watch online for way less. You would have thought after screwing you over they would have at least taken 20 seconds to do a service you paid for a billion times. The ladies absolutely refused to take the extra link out and told me I would need to pay them $15 if I really wanted it done. I decided from that point that I would never shop at Kay Jewelers again. But wait, THATS NOT ALL! LOL a couple weeks later I was walking with my parents and my mothers ring has a big diamond which was dirty and foggy. My mother asked them to clean it and was willing to pay for the service. Kay Jewelers cleaned it right in front of her with a special cleaning solution. The lady handed it right back to my mother and did NOT charge her for the service. I am happy my mother got it cleaned for free dont get me wrong. But my mother never once spent a dime at Kay and I spent over $500 and they would not do any service for me. What I wanted would have taken 20 seconds of time. Kay actually had to use a cleaning solution which cost them money to clean my mothers ring. So lets get this straight, I am an existing customer who has spent money already and I cant get a cost free service (cost free to them). But my mother who has never spent a dime can get a free service that probably cost Kay at least a dollar. Why is it that places like Guess, Armani, and so many other great stores have closed at the mall but Kay has not??

NO STARS AND THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I bought and engagement ring at this location and the diamond was loose. The ring was sent out and it happened again. So my fiance took the ring in to see if they could do anything and the woman working (dark hair and said she was an assistant manager) told he she could have the setting replaced, which is not a problem. The problem was that when asked if that would solve the problem she said maybe and if we didnt want the diamond to fall out she shouldnt wear it... ARE YOU SERIOU?! are we supposed to put it in a display box? Long story short after leaving the store and having to watch my fiance cry, we went to another location and they offered to help. This location obviously just wants to sell and get their customers out without helping when any problems come up. I WILL NEVER be giving Kay Jewlers at the Christiana Mall my business ever again.

Horrible Business! 2 years ago, I bought a pair of diamond earrings and a sapphire ring for my gf. Both items were reasonably priced. However, they SCAM you with a “lifetime warranty”. Apparently, they forget to tell you that with a lifetime warranty you need to bring your jewelry in every 6 months to be inspected. If you don’t, then your jewelry is no longer under the warranty. Found that out the hard way when my gf’s ring lost a side stone and I had to pay almost the price of the ring to get it fixed. This was because we hadn’t brought the ring in to be inspected every 6 months. (Which I had never been warned about).This isn’t even the worst part. The employee that I originally bought the earrings and ring from somehow put the order into the system as two sets of earrings. Now, every time we go in to get the ring inspected, we spend about 40 minutes with the employees trying to explain their mistake and why the paperwork says the ring is a pair of earrings. We managed to get them to inspect the ring the first two times, but our recent attempt left them saying “there is nothing we can do”. So basically we are now screwed on the ring, and if anything happens to it then it won’t be covered by the extra $50 I spent for the lifetime warranty. Terrible business, neglectful employees, and low quality jewelry. Stay away.

On 6/4/17 my fiancée and I visited the Kays Jeweler in the Christiana Mall with the intent of opening a Kays store card and purchasing our wedding bands, easily over $1000 purchase, about an hour before close.Both my fiancée and I have over 12 years retail experience and were surprised none of the 3 employees on duty acknowledged our presence by welcoming us to their store. We made our way to the wedding bands and were looking at the selection, about 3-5 minutes past with no employee approaching us to see if we needed help or wanted to see any of the rings. I decided to ask a female employee whose body language read that I was interrupting whatever she was doing. This particular employee was unbelievably rude and condensing when answering any questions my fiancée and I had. To say the least we took our business elsewhere and will certainly not suggest Kays to friends or family because of their poor customer service and rude employees.

Got engagement ring Dec 24, 2014 and went back after Christmas for sizing. Got ring back 2 weeks later. After 1 day, Diamond fell out and took back. 2 weeks later no call or nothing....trying to call the mall store and get fax machine ring in ear....FORGET THEM!!!
