The cashiers, security guard, and other workers have all been helpful and polite. My issues are that many of the shelves are empty with many items out of stock. Ive thought they were closing the store for good but the staff said no. My other issue is so many of the items are locked up and someone has to open it for you. This makes shopping difficult. I understand why they do this but there must be a better way.

I went here today and had a covid test appointment scheduled at 3:30 but I was 5min late due to traffic and when I got there I was told that I can not take the test because the system was down and that I should have got a call..However I didnt get no call. This was a big inconvenience for me because I took time out of my schedule for this appointment and I drove all the way there for nothing... That was so inconsiderate of them... Its weird to me because there were 3 cars before me as if they took the test but idk what they were doing. Also Walgreens emailed me today about my appointment saying nothing changed and that their reminding me... Why they didnt email me saying that their system was down instead. I wasted my time and gas going up there smh and I usually go to this Walgreens but not anymore. Smh

In This location everything is usually out of stock. If you do go here you see people stealing a bunch of items and running out the front door like it’s normal. Don’t waste your time going to this location. I also like how there is a bunch of fake 5 star reviews on here stating “ taste great“!Nice try 😂 management.

Bathroom has been out of service for over 3 years. Every time I have come here in different occasions, a sign indicating that is out of service is hanged. The manager said someone stole the key. A big company like Walgreens cant afford to install a password lock like many places if thats truly the case!

It deserves 0 stars. I went in for vaccine. Worst customer service from cashiers as well as 1 attendant in pharmacy. The attendant with the puffy Hair. I dont have any feedback for other attendant or pharmacist because didnt interact with them.

Took my father here for a rapid COVID test in order to travel. When we get to the airport, they tell us that Walgreens did not specify on the results page if it was a PCR or antigen rapid test (the airline wouldnt take our word for it). If youre looking to travel during COVID, dont get your test done at Walgreens. If its the only option, make sure they specify on the results exactly what test was administered.

Scheduled a Covid test 3 days in advance, due to an exposure incident that kept me from going back into my job. I had everything confirmed for Sunday morning at 9:30. While driving to the Walgreens I received an email at 9:28 stating that my Covid test was canceled. When I entered the Walgreens everything Covid related was closed.I understand that Covid tests are in high demand but I assume that when I schedule a test, that the appointment will be honored and the store has enough Covid tests for the day. There is no reason as to why this store had no more tests. I don’t if walk ins were “granted” to other folks but I saw many other people drive in and leave angry. I could not go into my job the following Monday and had to get on an urgent care line at 5 in the morning to get my test done after 8 am.

You can not rely on it for COVID test. We already made an appointment several days before and they called us in the morning of the test day and said it’s canceled because of some technical issues. Same story and even worse, happened to my friend too, she got there and they said they are out of tests.

Stop by Walgreens on broad Ave today. On line for 10 minutes to get to the door for the young black lady to say you need gloves to enter the store. First Walgreens that I visited that implement no glove no love. This is more about the rude (in my opinion) the rude black lady sitting opening and closing the door. Its not like she didnt see me but she waited until I was the next person in line to enter to say you need gloves to into the store its like why didnt you tell me before you waited until I was next. I mean I get rude service from women period!!!

Went in store in the matter of 10 min two guys went in there and started stealing and they did like nothing they were doing was wrong they need better security or a police officer there. This place is a joke.rated it a 1 start because 0 doesn’t exist.

Besides some of the horrible customers that come in to the Rite Aid, the cashiers do their best to accommodate when I’m there. The pharmacy staff are friendly and have never given me any issues.

Ive never written a poor review before, however, this needs to be said: This stores hours clearly states online they close at 10pm. I arrive, in my haste, at 9:50pm, the doors were already closed. I, along with other patrons outside, began talking with the security guard, Officer Simmons, just about begging him to reopen because it wasnt 10pm yet. Truly there was nothing he could do without management; understood. Finally, at 10pm, the woman proclaiming to be the manager stated she was not going to reopen the doors because it was already 10pm. I, along with another patron, explained we had already been standing there for about 10mins., could she just take me since I was ill and needed medicine and was paying with card. Her reply, why didnt you just come earlier? Im leaving. She walked away.Disrespectful. Poor work ethic.Unfortunately, Rite Aid has this woman as a manager, dare I say, face of the company. There used to be a time when the paying customer meant something to the management of the company, apparently, were miles from that now, at least at the Rite Aid on 1084 Broad St., in Newark, is concerned.

Rough Area. The lady at the checkout was not very pleasant. In between customers there was a guy she was talking to standing right there by the register. I assume as her boyfriend or significant other. Made for a very awkward checkout experience.Also not sure what’s going on but the store looks kind of empty. Lots of empty shelves.

I called on this morning to make sure that the store was open, with it being new years i didnt want to just go there and them be closed. The lady who answered the phone was rude from the starr when she answered. No customer service skills at all. When i said hi good morning i was just making sure that the store was open, she did not answer or say anything back just hung up the phone on me. Very rude and they are always like this in there. Hope that the walgreens that is taking it over changes their employees as well. Not to mention any time you go in this store the employees never greet you, they look at you like your a nuisance to them by even walking in, they always look miserable and have no respect for the customers.

Some of the workers are lazy and rude. One of the employees shameka i believe her name is is very rude and disrespectful also the security guard with the black eye with two braids who is a drug addict seems to always disrespect females. The best thing about this store is the pharmacy workers !!!

This Rite Aide is the worst. Everytime expect to see 5 registers & only one open with a guarantee long wait. Employee conduct is alufe, disrespectful, and disturbing.You treat the community like a disturbance. On this occasion I put my circular on the isle nicely placed and when I get to the register to pay for my items the 10:15am employee says Sir can go and you pick up the circular. I WALKED OUT IM DONE RITE AIDE BROAD STREET NEWARK.

Same thing happened to me like to krystal. I pulled up at 9:45pm just to see the security cop schmuck locking the doors saying that they were closed or closing. I ask him to please let me that ill be 2 mins tops considering it wasnt 10 yet and i that i only wanted to quickly use the lottery vending machine which is right by the entrance. I asked multiple times, it was before 9:50, and there were 5-10 people waiting to pay still. I wouldve been in and out before 1 of the people waiting finished paying and left the store. Pissed me off big time. Now customer service from some of the employees is another story haha...

Rite aid sucks point blank period. This rite aid messed up the count on my medication twice and then one day I went through drive thru the girl never came over there I was waiting 20 minutes before I went inside to be helped. The lines are terrible and the wait is ridiculous. The workers there are very slow I just about had it with rite aid they need to improve their staff fire all of the old ones and replace them with people who actually care and is not there for just a pay check

Every time when I buy a $20 gift card from PlayStation they always giving some dirty looks like they don’t trust me the cashier always ask me why buy those all the times, like it’s my money I live close there and I want to buy it so I can get my online psn back what’s the big deal.

Hardly ever have medications in stock and must order out for most prescriptions. The staff are slow and rude. The pharmacist could not remember my name even after typing it into her screen 3x. I was the only customer here, yet my script took 2 hours to fill, only find out they would once again need to order this common drug.
