Love this computer but when my screen went black I returned it (after getting technical advice from Matthew (he was super patient) and they fixed it no problem. They told me 2-3 weeks and it was 21/2 weeks. I recommend both laptop and customer service.

I should have posted this review weeks ago, but Ive been enjoying my Max 15 so much I never got around to it.I wanted to publically thank the team at Eluktronics for their professionalism when left with an untenable situation.Because of financial reasons, I couldnt order the computer I needed for the fall semester until the end of summer - leaving me much less time to order and receive a laptop before class started. Eluktronics was able to build and configure the machine in less time than they estimated, but they were missing a software update they wanted before shipping it out.I got increasingly anxious as more time went on, and became annoyed at myself for calling customer service so often for updates. Still, every time, Matt answered the phone with patience as if this was the first time he was hearing from me.Businesses lose money when their warehouses are full. Every day a viable product sits there, waiting, is a day money is not being made. I know half a dozen manufacturers that have sent out unfinished merchandise, but Eluktronics CEO thinks differently. He was unwilling to send out a product that wasnt perfect, even if it meant that hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of inventory were waiting anxiously to get out the door.He reached out to me personally to explain what was going on, why the laptop was behind, and gave me a choice. He could send the laptop out the door that day, and give me a call when they finally received the BIOS update theyd been waiting for - hed get someone on TeamViewer and walk me through the installation. Or I could wait for them to receive the update, install it, and send it on its way.I dont know of a single company, in any industry, that would be that communicative and transparent with their customer. Not only did Matthew keep me updated, but their CEO put the choice in my hands, and was willing to support my decision and his product, whichever route I chose.Usually, a relationship between a customer and the shop ends when the item has been shipped and delivered, but Eluktronics stands behind their product, aiding you in whatever way possible if you have any questions or concerns when that item gets in your hands.I just wanted to share that every cent I paid for this laptop was worth it, because not only did I end up with a machine I needed, but with a support system that is ready and willing to answer the phone and offer assistance whenever I need it. Its more than regular customer retention, its just good business.

I ordered from Eluktronics because frankly, they are the only ones who sold the most powerful laptop I could find on the continent. Im very happy with both their product and their customer service.Keith and the team at Eluktronics were very helpful with expediting my order and finding workarounds when (at that time) a technical issue arose with the payment handling system. I had the rig shipped to Alberta, Canada and it arrived in about 8 days.I 100% recommend them to anyone looking for high-end gaming or workstation rigs!

These guys are great. Customer support is always top notch. I got my second eluktronics laptop through ebay but Steve from support still helped me out and helped setup my bios update very quickly even if I didnt buy it new. That says a lot about a company and I am now a forever customer of Eluktronics. Their laptops are just beasts for the price; they make all other brands feel like ripoffs. I just purchased a barebones laptop from Eluktronics, the NB50TZ, after discovering the platform and the ability to put whatever CPU, ram, and hard drives you want in it. Besides, I love to build computers, and this was an exciting prospect as I wanted to upgrade my main work rig! Even before pulling the trigger on the purchase, I called them 2 times just to ask them questions, and they provided excellent support. When I received the barebones laptop, it was packed with care and a lot of protection. The instructions were clear and I had 0 problems getting it up and running after I received all of the other parts. I wanted to have some backup screws, for peace of mind, so I thought that I had to pay for shipping. I called them and expressed my concern, and to my pleasant surprise they are going to ship out 6 of each type for me free of charge! I highly recommend you purchase from this company.

WOW Great Service!! This is now twice I have called Eluktronics and Travis W has picked the phone up both times. If I could give 6 stars I would! Extremely friendly and very very well informed. Both times the issue I was having was solved by him, Im not good with computers but he slowly and patiently walked me through what I needed to do, thank you for having great customer service!

This laptop isnt even a year old and Ive have had one too many problems with it. The optane memory went bad as soon as I received it, which wiped the harddrive, they just refunded me the $30, told me it wasnt worth it anyways, then sent me a usb to reinstall windows. The screen is plagued with light bleed and theres an obvious white circle that can be seen through the screen. Now I cant even use the laptop due to a locked black screen and a continuous reboot/freeze. Customer service is slow to respond. This is unacceptable. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Very well suited company. Support is outstanding and the laptop I purchased from them (P650HP6) works phenomenal, I have not run into any unsolvable major issues. I am about three months in with the laptop and I love it.

Just got the computer a few weeks ago and I am in love with it! As far as customer support, someone always answers within 3 or 4 rings and puts you directly to someone that actually knows what they are talking about! For a laptop company that is not well known, I feel very confident in the laptop and the company as a whole.

Really, really high quality laptops for mid-market prices. Great construction, great service, great value. No bloatware makes this IT guy a happy camper.

Their support is pretty good and responsive. They replaced my keyboard when one of the backlights started to die, but the screen has some on-arrival burn-in issues that they claim would exist on every screen. Its not a huge deal though. I wish their return policy was longer than 72 hours for buyers remorse because 72 hours is just not enough time to give a laptop a test drive, and I would have returned my laptop and paid more for a better laptop from them if they had a longer return policy. Instead, I dont see myself buying from them again.

We had an issue when ordering from a third party source with an incorrect shipping address. It was difficult communicating between multiple companies and my brother who was placing the order while deployed abroad. The CEO of the company personally reached out to my brother via email to help resolve everything for us.I have read reviews from a multitude of sources across the web raving about the build quality of Eluktronics devices. It is my hope that your company will maintain its high level of product engineering and customer service quality as it grows.

I bought a computer from these guys about 2 years ago (w650kk1) and its still doing well. Ive called them and emailed them a few times and have always gotten a quick, knowledgeable response. (like issues with multiple boot drives and win 10, and potential cpu upgrades). Their prices are competative and their customer support fantastic. I only wish I needed another computer so I could buy it from these guys. Strongly recommend, so much so I searched them out on Google to drop this review, something I normally dont do!

Amazing customer support, and Ive been very happy with the high-end MSI laptop I got through them via newegg. When I did have one issue (drive failed), even though it was out of warranty, they offered to send me a new drive for free to replace it, plus free shipping both ways. I needed it really quickly and didnt want to wait for the bad drive to get back to them first, so they had me buy a drive and got it to me the next business day. After I swapped out the drives and sent back the bad one with the prepaid label they sent, I got a refund that day. All that, and when you call them, a real person answers the phone (Tom in my case, who was very nice and helpful). All in all a great company.

Laptops will not install Linux, they have a custom bios that does not support it. This is a big issue for developers and also the only time I have heard of a pc not being able to run Linux. Worse they do not disclose this and charge 15% restocking fee after you find out (we bought 2 for the office). Had to call amazon to get a proper refund. Would not recommend buying electronics from a company that operates like this. Good luck to warranty people 6 months in. Looked like an ok laptop but a bios that doesnt support Linux is unheard of. Likely other major incompatibility issues here as well. Attached pictures. It seems the person handling sales doesnt understand that not running Linux is a unheard-of-issue. Attached this ridiculous response, citing the computer doesnt meet my needs, considering they are a computer manufacturer, that reply is crazy for this issue.

I bought a new HP Pavilion 15z Laptop from Eluktronics, and the product exceeded my expectations. Customer service was also very helpful. I would buy from them again.

I had a great experience with Eluktronics. I had ordered a new Lenovo laptop which was perfect in every way except it just wouldnt wake up from sleep mode properly. After trying everything software related myself, I reached out to Eluktronics via email, on a Sunday, not expecting a response back until Monday. The note they included with the laptop specifically stated to contact them first in the event of any issues. I received a response back on that Sunday. The laptop went back to them after they sent me a return label. A bad memory stick was to blame. The problem was fixed, the laptop was shipped back. Everything works perfectly. These guys communicated throughout the process and never left me worrying about what amounted to a hefty investment in computer equipment. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. The service was outstanding. Thanks!!!

For starters I had a asus j73jw that was about 8 years old that I loved. I did a ton of research and found eluktronics... Im huge on reviews and did a ton of research as for me, $1000 is a large purchase. After doing my Research and also calling to ask about the type of ram/ ssd speaking to the person who answered the phone was enough to make me happy with my purchase. Then, last night, I got my laptop. I got the 870 with the 1060 gtx and am in love with it. Feels, looks, and runs FLAWLESS for what I do. I wish I had this product longer to give a more I depth review but even if I run into issues Im fully confident that this company will solve my issues.

And great customer support.Faster and more powerful and capable than I had ever imagined a laptop could be. Extremely well-built. Easy to upgrade. Customization to ones personal needs. Very accessible inner workings. No bloatware at all. A customer service that is far far far more accessible, knowledgeable and responsive than any I have ever experienced. During the purchasing process, they gave me no sales pressure, but they did take the time to understand my needs and to customize my laptop to meet my specific needs and wallet. And after I had received my laptop and had questions, the after-sale responsiveness of the customer service was just as good. They even emailed me back the next day after one of my questions … just to be sure I had understood and was okay. Name one other company in the entire world that does that.No, I dont own stock in the company … but I wish I did! They are far ahead of the industry when it comes to quality.I am not sure, but from my on-line research I think that Eluktronics was created by some Gamesters who just decided to make a great machine, clean, powerful, and that would just simply do the job right. And while they did that, they created the perfect computer for businesses and for photographic and video processing, which is very challenging on most computers.And they are proud of their machine and their company.I received my Eluktronics Laptop in Mid-September. It is an Eluktronics P770. I have waited until now (a month later) to write a review because I wished to take it through the ropes before I commented on it.I purchased the P770 to edit and process RAW photography and to edit and produce video.The results are amazing. Where once I would make an adjustment in a RAW processing software and wait ten seconds to a minute for the one adjustment to completed, with the P770 there is no waiting at all. The picture transforms smoothly before my eyes, and I can tend to my art rather than to the computer. The same is true for the video editing I have done.I chose to have two SSD drives, adequate dedicated graphics and 32 Ram.There are four more slots to add more internal hard drives or other cards if I wish in the future. The Ram is up-gradable to 64. The entire interior of the computer is a work of simplicity and accessibility for future upgrades as the industry changes (as it always does). And, mind you, this statement comes from a person who is not at all a cyber geek.I highly recommend this laptop. No reservations.And I highly recommend that anyone seeking to purchase a laptop to email or call the Eluktronics company (they are home-grown in Delaware) … and find out for yourself about the top-notch quality of their customer service, their personalized approach in customizing your machine, and in the quality of the machines themselves.

Bought this one to replace an old work laptop that I use to serve virtual machines. Was a little nervous at first, as I had no experience with eluktronics as a PC manufacturer. Im extremely impressed with the machine, the manual, the configuration/layout, and the weight. There are details that show they put a lot of thought into this -- as an example, theres a little ridge around the screen that keeps the keys from rubbing on the display -- nice, and the power plug has the 90 degree angle that keeps it from being busted off over time.The memory wasnt installed in all 4 slots, so when I took it from 32GB to 64, I didnt have the heartbreak of throwing out perfectly good RAM. There are 3 drive bays -- two SATA drives, and a slot for an SSD drive. Very happy to have ordered with the SSD drive, as putting the extra 4TB in was a snap.I tried several flavors of linux as the base OS -- settled on SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 12. There are a few driver details not resolved as yet, (wireless lan, and video arent working exactly right), but overall, with 4TB disk space, 64GB RAM, its the beast I needed it to be. SLED12 was best because they had the most drivers working. These are the driver issues: WLAN doesnt work -- however, wired does. A edimax dongle gets me wlan for now. Nvidia drivers and Virtualbox arent cooperating -- gnome-shell cpu use and memory use gradually increase due to trying to emulate 3d graphics, and vms saved sometimes gray out and have to be shut down and restarted. (The same vms dont have that issue on my older ASUS ROG laptop, which has an older nvidia adapter)If I ran a windows host OS, I suppose that those wouldnt be a problem, but thats not going to let me squeeze everything I want from the hardware, and running windows makes me feel dirty. All in all, an impressive machine, aimed at serious power users. As a road warrior, happy that the keyboard grunge is kept off the screen, thanks to the ridge I mentioned earlier. I just hope that the driver issues get resolved soon, so I can enjoy my beast to the fullest extent possible. Id definitely order this one again. Youd never know it was such a machine from the weight -- my old asus was a tank, and this one is as light as a regular laptop, which is a phenomenal achievement.

I purchased a Laptop from Elukronics in June of last year on Amazon. I started having problems with the Bluetooth. Figuring it was under warranty I call HP support. Bad choice. To make a long story shot they messed my laptop up. HP also said it was not under warranty. HP Wanted proof and for me to send the computer in. I contacted Elukronics about the warranty issue. A great Tech names Will E-mailed me back and asked what the problem was. After I explained it he asked me to call him. This was 10pm PST on a Sunday night. I did and Im very grateful for his service. Within a few minutes he had me back up and running. He even fixed the original problem with the Bluetooth. I will defiantly purchase from them again. GREAT SERVICEThanks Will

Will, with Eluktronics even called me and took the time to go over all the technical questions I had and my specific requirements. I told him that I hated to buy an HP, I really wanted the same specs with a LENOVO. Will said they had some in stock that had not posted on Amazon yet, the Z710. We agreed this was the best computer for me for my work and for play. Will emailed me Friday morning to say the computer was posted on Amazon. I went on and proceeded to order it. I had some issues then between Amazon and my credit card company processing the whole payment, not just the shipping. Will came to my rescue again! Will did 3 way calls with me to resolve this Friday. The result, I HAD THE COMPUTER IN MY HANDS BY NOON ON SATURDAY!!! Yes ONE DAY!! IF I would have ordered from Will at Eluktronics on February 6th, I could have had my computer by February 8th. I have had this one since February 21, 2015. I love LENOVO and their service, but really......I really bought Eluktronics service and dedication. They went WAY above and beyond my wildest expectations for service! Will was very, very knowledgeable and made all the technical lingo easy to understand for performance. Now, I am a customer for life. I will ONLY order from them in the future. Very well done Will!!Now the computer: Its a LENOVO, quality built. Excellent computer, excellent speed, never heats up, loaded all my software very, very fast, all my downloads, very, very fast. This is a computer that will last! Love the keyboard, easy to type, backlit in low lights is awesome. Love the 10 key because I use a lot of numbers, watched HULU and the video quality is awesome, sound is great, streams with no delays at all, I multitask with multiple browsers and videos running and nothing is delayed. I was even running multiple downloads. Wow! My last computer went 5 years, this one could beat it! It fits well in a standard backpack, For the money I chose the 17.3 inch, I could have made due with the 15.6. I have no complaints, this is just what I wanted and needed as I cannot use windows 8 for work. Do not need a desk PC if you have this.
